(54) SELF-CLAMPING STABILIZING GASKET

(57) Self-clamping stabilizing gasket, consisting of base (1) and main arm (2) characterized in that the base (1) on the section of rectangle with rounded upper horizontal wall located above lower horizontal wall of the base (1) which has main arm (2) facing outside of the gasket. Upper side edges of the base (1) form rounded upper flaps (3.1, 3.2), extension of lower edge of the base forms lower flap (4).

Description

Technical field

[0001] Subject of this invention is self-clamping stabilizing gasket dedicated for placing the glass pane in the profile which allows to mount the glass pane by sliding it into it.

Background Art

[0002] Description of the utility model PL128825U1 says about glazing gasket for a glass mounting profile which consists of the base with clamping and main arm. It is characteristic because of the fact that gasket has additional arm that can be ripped off. It is located underneath the main arm. Because of this characteristic thickness of the gasket can be adjusted. Description of the utility model PL60873Y1 says about window glass panel gasket also known as glazing gasket. This gasket is dedicated for sealing glass panes in aluminium constructions. Mentioned gasket is one piece element and consists of clamping and supporting part. Gasket described in PL128825U1 consists of main arm and rip off arm which is located under the main one, when in this invention rip-off arm comes out from the main arm and has half-rounded cavity allowing to rip it off. Gasket described in PL60873Y1 is one-piece element when in this invention gasket is made of multiple layers of material which, as mentioned, allows to use it in installation of glass panes of several thicknesses.

Technical problem

[0003] Technical problem, which is the subject of this invention is to ensure that glass will be well protected from possible damage during the mounting process and to prevent the degradation of the product caused by the high temperature during the fire. Fully assembled door leaf with the mentioned gasket, profile, glass and glazing plates is robust product. It's mechanical durability and fire resistance is high.

Disclosure of invention

[0004] Self-clamping stabilizing gasket, consisting of base and main arm which is characteristic because of the base on the section of rectangle with rounded upper horizontal wall located above lower horizontal wall of the base which has main arm facing outside of the gasket. Upper side edges of the base form rounded upper flaps, extension of lower edge of the base forms lower flap. Self-clamping stabilizing gasket has arm possible to rip off with half rounded cavity which is coming out from main arm. Self-clamping stabilizing gasket has main arm which has thickness in between 0.5mm to 5mm. Self-clamping stabilizing gasket has rip off arm which has thickness in between 0.5mm to 5mm.

Brief description of drawings

[0005] Subject of this invention is shown on the drawings, where Fig. 1 shows self-clamping stabilizing gasket with main arm, Fig. 2 shows self-clamping stabilizing gasket with rip off arm, Fig. 3 shows horizontal section of the gasket before sliding in the glass pane. Fig. 4 shows horizontal section of the gasket after sliding the glass pane.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0006] Self-clamping stabilizing gasket, consisting of base (1) and main arm (2). Base (1) on the section of rectangle with rounded upper horizontal wall located above lower horizontal wall of the base (1) which has main arm (2) facing outside. Upper side edges of the base (1) form rounded upper flaps (3.1, 3.2), extension of lower edge of the base (1) forms lower flap (4). Self-clamping stabilizing gasket has to rip off arm (5) with half rounded cavity (6) which is coming out from the main arm (2). Main arm has thickness in between 0.5mm to 5mm. Rip off arm has thickness in between 0.5mm to 5mmm.
