LOCATION AND FLOW RATE METER |
(57) Apparatuses and methods for detecting and determining flow within a water release
assembly are provided. The water release assembly may include a fluid flow passage
with an inlet and an outlet, a flow meter for detecting fluid flow through the fluid
flow passage, an attachment structure for attaching the fluid flow passage to an external
fluid flow conduit, and a fluid flow processing module configured to acquire and store
location data that is related to a geographic location of the fluid flow processing
module, store fluid flow data that is related to fluid flow through the fluid flow
passage and is based, at least in part, on the fluid flow detected by the flow meter,
and wirelessly transmit the location data and the fluid flow data to an external computer.
