Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The object of this application is to register a portable container for supplying sanitising substances and which also includes a paper dispenser.

[0002] More specifically, the invention proposes the development of a portable container for a sanitising substance for personal use aimed at improving personal hygiene.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Deodorant-type products that are applicable by contact with the user's skin with the aim of preventing odour caused by sweat, provided in a compact size (also called pocket-size), both the type that use a head able to be impregnated with substance to be dispensed and the roll-on type, wherein the dispensing of the product is carried out by means of a rotating ball placed in the upper part of the container, are widely known in the state of the art.

[0004] Although containers known on the market satisfactorily fulfil the purpose of supplying the deodorant substance, there is a clear deficiency related to the application of the substance. In order for the sanitising substance to be efficient, the surface on which it is applied must be previously cleaned, hence soap and water are required to eliminate the bacteria responsible for body odours which may not always be available.

[0005] Also, it is known from prior art US 2017/050200 A1 which discloses a portable supply container for a sanitizing substance in which common features are part of the preamble of claim 1.

[0006] Furthermore, the applicant is currently unaware of any invention that has all the features described in this specification.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The present invention has been developed with the aim of providing a portable container that is configured as a novelty within the field of application and solves the previously mentioned drawbacks, further providing other additional advantages that will be evident from the description below.

[0008] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a portable container for a sanitising substance and paper dispenser, characterised in that it comprises a first body provided with a storage chamber to hold sanitising substances for bodily use and dispensing means for dispensing the stored sanitising substance to the outside, and a second body provided internally with a compartment having an internal geometry adapted to provide a paper roll that is oriented longitudinally with respect to the longitudinal (or main) axis of the second body, the second body being provided with paper dispensing means intended for a portion of paper to be extracted from the paper roll, in which there are releasable coupling means envisaged to couple the first body to the second body in such a way that the first body is partially housed in the second body in an assembled condition, and a protective cap intended to cover the dispensing means in the first body, to prevent them from getting dirty and to protect them from possible blows or contact with external elements.

[0009] Preferably, the coupling means comprise a threaded portion at one end of the side wall of the first body which is able to be coupled to a complementary threaded portion at one end of the side wall of the second body.

[0010] In a preferred embodiment, the dispensing means for the sanitising substance comprise a spraying mechanism or similar capable of providing a controlled dose of the sanitising substance, such as for substances with a creamy or gel-like texture.

[0011] Alternatively, the dispensing means for the sanitising substance comprise a rotating ball mechanism, also known as a roll-on system.

[0012] According to another aspect of the invention, the paper dispensing means may comprise a longitudinally extending slot in the side wall of the second body.

[0013] Alternatively, the paper dispensing means may comprise a hole in the base wall of the second body.

[0014] In a preferred embodiment, the compartment comprises two centrally located projections, spaced apart and facing each other, having dimensions that allow for the housing of the hollow inner space of the paper roll.

[0015] Additionally, the second body can include an openable lid, the inner face of which includes a projection that extends perpendicularly towards the interior of the compartment, which facilitates the insertion of the paper roll when a new roll must be placed.

[0016] Advantageously, the second body of the container can be made of a transparent plastic material and have a generally cylindrical shape, open at the top, such that the paper roll is arranged eccentrically inside the second body, thereby making the container ergonomic and facilitating the rotating of the paper roll located inside the second body.

[0017] Thanks to these features, an easy-to-manufacture container is obtained which has a compact size that is ideal to carry in a handbag or similar, without the user being bothered by the transport thereof. This arrangement allows a user to previously clean the area where the sanitising substance is to be applied, to dry the area after applying the sanitising substance, or to even apply the substance onto paper instead of directly on the user's skin, by using the paper available in the paper roll that is housed in the second body of the container.

[0018] Thus, the container described represents an innovative structure with structural and constituent features heretofore unknown for its intended purpose, reasons which, taken together with its usefulness, provide it with sufficient grounds for obtaining the requested exclusivity privilege.

[0019] Other features and advantages of the portable container object of the present invention will become apparent from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the attached drawings, in which:

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0021] In view of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the adopted numbering, one may observe therein a preferred exemplary embodiment of the invention, which comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.

[0022] Moreover, the terms first, second, third, and the like in the description and in the claims are used to distinguish between similar elements and not necessarily to describe a sequential or chronological order. The terms may be interchanged under appropriate circumstances and the embodiments of the invention may operate in sequences other than those described or illustrated herein.

[0023] Moreover, the terms upper, lower, up, down, and the like in the description and in the claims are used for descriptive purposes and not necessarily to describe relative positions.

[0024] As can be seen in the embodiment shown in figures 1a-c, the portable container, generally indicated by reference (1) for supplying a sanitising substance and paper dispenser comprises a first body (2) provided with a storage chamber intended to store a sanitising substance and dispensing means for dispensing the stored sanitising substance to the outside, as will be explained below.

[0025] In addition, the portable container (1) comprises a second body (4) in a generally cylindrical shape, which is preferably made of a transparent plastic material and internally provided with a compartment (5) for arranging a paper roll (6), the second body (4) being provided with paper dispensing means intended for a portion of paper to be extracted from the paper roll (6). The first body (2) and the second body (4) are joined together by releasable coupling means in such a way that the first body (2) is partially housed in the second body (4) (see figure 1b). In order to keep the dispensing means sealed and prevent them from getting dirty, a protective cap (7) is provided, which is fitted to the first body (2) by means of a threaded connection formed by a first threaded section (14) on the inner face of the protective cap (7) coupled to a second complementary threaded section (15) on the upper part of the first body (2).

[0026] The aforementioned releasable coupling means comprise a threaded portion (8) at one end of the outer side wall of the first body (2) that is able to be coupled to a complementary threaded portion (9) at one end of the inner side wall of the second body (4).

[0027] In this embodiment, the dispensing means for dispensing the sanitising substance comprise a known ball mechanism (known on the market as a "roll-on system"), and thus there is no need to delve into the description thereof. It is noteworthy to mention that the rotating ball (10) responsible for dosing the stored substance is mounted on a plastic support (11) with an opening in which the rotating ball (10) is partially enveloped, the support (11) thereof being mounted on the upper part of the first body (2).

[0028] With respect to the paper dispensing means, the same comprise a hole (12) in a base wall (13) of the second body (6) so that the paper roll (6) is encapsulated and the user can extract portions of paper therefrom just by pulling the paper.

[0029] Figures 2a-c show a second embodiment of the portable container (1), the common parts or elements thereof having the same numerical references as in the first embodiment. Also in this case, the container (1) comprises a first body (2) and a second body (4) coupled together, as well as a protective cap (7) to protect the dosing means in the first body (2). The dispensing means provided for dispensing the sanitising substance comprise an extraction mechanism that is connected to the storage chamber (3). This extraction mechanism has a button (16) internally provided with an outlet channel (17) to extract the fluid stored inside, and a return spring (18) that facilitates the axial movement of the button (16) on a guide element (19) located above the first body (2), ensuring that the same returns to the original position thereof once the user has stopped pressing the button (16). In order to ensure that the same quantity is always supplied, a measuring chamber (20) is arranged in which the return spring (18) is internally arranged.

[0030] As in the first embodiment, the paper dispensing means comprise a hole (12) in a base wall (13) of the second body (6) so that the paper roll (6) is encapsulated and the user can extract portions of paper therefrom just by pulling the paper.

[0031] Figures 3a-3d show a third embodiment of the portable container (1) for supplying a sanitising substance for hygiene or personal care, the common parts or elements of which have the same numerical references as in the previous embodiments. In this case, the dispensing means provided to dispense the sanitising substance also comprise a ball mechanism. However, unlike the previous two embodiments, the paper dispensing means comprise a slot (21) that extends longitudinally in the side wall of the second body (4).

[0032] To facilitate the rotation of the paper roll in order to extract a portion of paper through the slot (21), the compartment (5) comprises two centrally located projections (22, 25), spaced apart and facing each other, the projections (22, 25) having dimensions that allow the hollow interior space (23) of the paper roll (6) to fit, thereby facilitating the rotation thereof.

[0033] As can be seen more clearly in figure 3a, the second body includes an openable lid (24) that is laterally hinged at the lower end of the second body (4), wherein the inner face of the openable lid (24) includes one of the projections (25) defined by a cylindrical extension that extends perpendicular to the inner face and towards the interior of the compartment (5).

[0034] It is noteworthy to mention that the outer face of the second body (4), where the slot (21) is located, has a raised area (26) that protrudes outwards.

[0035] Figures 4a-4d show another alternative embodiment of the portable container (1) for supplying a sanitising substance for hygiene or personal care, the common parts or elements of which also have the same numerical references as in the first embodiment. In this case, like the second embodiment, the dispensing means for the sanitising substance comprise an extraction mechanism that has a button (16), internally provided with an outlet channel (17), to extract the fluid stored inside, and a return spring (18) that facilitates the axial movement of the button (16).

[0036] With respect to the paper dispensing, the second body also includes an openable lid (24) that is laterally hinged at the lower end of the second body (4), wherein the inner face of the openable lid (24) includes one of the projections (25) defined by a cylindrical extension that extends perpendicular to the inner face and towards the interior of the compartment (5).

[0037] Figures 5a-5d show another embodiment of the portable container (1) for supplying a sanitising substance for hygiene or personal care, the common parts or elements of which have the same numerical references as in the previous embodiments. In this case, the dispensing means for the sanitising substance comprise an extraction mechanism that has a spray head (27) internally provided with an outlet channel to extract the fluid stored inside, a valve (28) linked to the spray head (27) as well as a return spring (18) that facilitates the return action for the movement of the spray head (27).

[0038] It must be mentioned that the first body (2), as well as the second body (4) and the protective cap (7), are made of recyclable plastic material.

[0039] The details, shapes, dimensions and other accessory elements, used to manufacture the portable container of the invention, may be suitably substituted for others which do not depart from the scope defined by the claims which are included below.
