[0001] The present invention relates to a packaging field, in particular to a cosmetic container.
Background
[0002] Common cosmetic containers are can-shaped, box-shaped or branch-shaped. Among them,
branch-shaped containers are commonly used for lipstick and mascara. Take lipstick
as an example. Lipstick is a kind of lip beauty cosmetics, including lippie, lip stick,
lip gloss, lip sleeve, etc. It can make the lips rosy and shiny, and has the effect
of moisturizing and protecting the lips. A conventional cosmetic container is mainly
composed of a middle bundle and a lid, wherein the middle bundle is provided with
a liftable bracket. The lipstick is arranged on the bracket, and the middle bundle
and the lid are connected by snaps or threads. When the middle bundle and the lid
are connected by the snaps, the tightness of the snaps is not easy to control. If
it is loose, the middle bundle and the lid may be accidentally separated due to the
shaking during carrying. If it is tight, it is easy to leave hands due to the great
force required for separation, and it is inconvenient to operate. When the middle
buddle and the lid are connected by threads, the rotation and separation may cause
misoperation, that is, before the middle buddle and the lid are not separated, the
bracket in the middle buddle rises, and the shaking while carrying may cause the middle
buddle to accidentally separate from the lid.
Summary
[0003] The object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic container to solve the
problem that the middle bundle and the lid are easy to cause misoperation.
[0004] To solve the above problem, a cosmetic container is provided according to one aspect
of the present invention. The cosmetics container comprises a housing provided with
an operating area, a movable member provided in a lower part of the housing, an elastic
member provided at bottom of the housing and located below the movable member to drive
the moveable member to move upward, a driving member provided above the movable member
and constructed to limite the movable member to a first position, and an operating
member provided at the operating area and constructed to cooperate with the movable
member to limit the movable member to a second position, wherein the movable member
can move upward from the second position to the first position under elastic force
of the elastic member by operating the operating member to remove from limiting position
of the movable member.
[0005] In one embodiment, wherein the driving member is provided with an elastic portion
cooperated with the operating member, and when the movable member moves from the first
position to the second position, the elastic portion applies elastic force on the
operating member, thereby the operating member limits the movable member at the second
position.

a driving port on a side wall, and the elastic portion comprises a first elastic portion
and a second elastic portion constructed to respectively extend from both sides of

the first position and the second position through ingenious cooperation of the operating
member, the movable member and the driving member, and thus the middle bundle and
the lipstick can be moved inward and outward the housing, which is very convenient
for users to get and use the lipstick. What's more, the moving member is limited to
the first position only through the cooperation of the operating member and the moving
member, and the moving member can be limited in the second position only through the
cooperation of the driving member and the moving member. Compared with the technical
solution that needs multiple components to limit the moving member in one position,
the technical solution of the present invention reduces machining accuracy requirement,
and thus saves processing costs, and at the same time also ensures the sensitivity
of the operation.

of the present invention will be more clearly understood. It should be understood

but merely to illustrate the true spirit of the technical solution of the present
invention.

[0025] The present invention relates to a cosmetic container for installing cosmetics such
as a lipstick. The cosmetic container 100 of an embodiment according to the present
invention will be further described below in combination with Figs. 1-3. Fig. 1 is
an exploded perspective view of the cosmetic container 100 of an embodiment according
the present invention. Figs. 2-3 are cross-sectional views of the cosmetic container
100 installed with lipsticks in different states of an embodiment according to the
present invention. As shown in Figs. 1-3, the cosmetic container 100 comprises a housing
10, an operating member 20, a movable member 30, a driving member 40 and an elastic
member 50. The movable member 30, the driving member 40 and the elastic member 50
are all provided in the housing 10, wherein the movable member 30 is used to install
devices such as a middle bundle 200 and is arranged in a lower part of the housing
10. The elastic member 50 is provided at the bottom of the housing 10 and located
below the movable member 30 to drive the movable member 30 to move upward. The driving
member 40 is provided above the movable member 30 and limit the movable member 30
at a first position (the position shown in Fig. 2), wherein a side wall of the housing
10 is provided with an operating area 13, and the operating member 20 is provided
at the operating area 13 and cooperates with the movable member 30 to limit the movable
member 30 at a second position, and by operating the operating member 20 to remove
from the position for limiting the movable member 30, the movable member 30 moves
upward from the second position to the first position under the elastic force of the
elastic member 50. For example, with reference to Figs. 2-3, the cosmetic container
100 is used to install a lipstick, which is installed in the middle bundle 200, and
the middle bundle 200 is installed in the housing 10.In particular, the middle bundle
200 is installed in the movable member 30 and is driven by the movable member 30.
When it is not used or carried, the movable member 30 is limited to the second position
in the housing 10 by the operating member 20. At this time, the middle bundle 200
is fully accommodated in the housing 10. When the lipstick is needed to be used, the
operating member 20 is operated by, for example, pressing, and then the operating
member 20 is concaved inwards and does not limit the position of the movable member
30, so that the movable member 30 drives the middle bundle 200 and the lipstick to
move upwards under the elastic force of the elastic portion 50 and moves from the
second position to the first position to push the middle bundle out of the housing,
so as to facilitate an user to get and use.
[0026] It can be seen that in the present invention the movable member 30 can be moved back
and forth between the first position and the second position through ingenious cooperation
of the operating member 20, the movable member 30 and the driving member 40, and thus
the middle bundle and the lipstick can be moved inward and outward the housing, which

member is limited to the first position only through the cooperation of the operating

[0027] Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the driving member of an embodiment according to
the present invention. As shown in Fig. 4, in an embodiment, the driving member 40
is provided with an elastic portion 41, which is cooperated with the operating member
20. When the movable member 30 is moved from the first position to the second position,
the elastic portion 41 applies an elastic force to the operating member 20 to push
the operating member 20 to move outward and the bottom of the operating member 20
is aligned with the top edge of the movable member 30, thereby limiting the movable
member 30 at the second position.
[0028] Optionally, as shown in Fig. 4, the driving member 40 as a whole forms a annular
structure and forms a driving port 42 on a side wall. The driving port 42 as a whole
forms an inverted ' U ' shape groove. The elastic portion 41 comprises a first elastic
portion 411 and a second elastic portion 412. The first elastic portion 411 and the
second elastic portion 412 are respectively extended from both sides of the driving
port 42 toward each other and are separated by a certain distance in the middle. In
the present embodiment, the first elastic portion 411 and the second elastic portion
412 are extended from both sides of the ' U ' shape groove respectively toward each
other. Compared with the present solution, a technical solution that a single elastic
member is provided at the top of the inverted ' U ' shape groove, will cause a problem
when using, that is, when a finger presses an upper or side edge of the operating
member 20, the bouncing moving of the movable member 30 cannot be activated, i.e.,
the operating member 20 cannot overcome the elastic force of the elastic portion of
the driving member 40, and only by pressing the middle or lower part of the operating
member 20 the bouncing moving of the movable member 30 can be activated. This is mainly
because that when the finger applies force on the root or bottom of the elastic portion,
the force cannot be transmitted to the end of the elastic portion to overcome the
elastic force of the elastic portion, and only when the force of the finger is applied
to the end of the elastic portion, the elastic force of the elastic portion can be
overcome enough to activate the bouncing moving of the movable member 30, thus the
movable member 30 drives the middle bundle to move from the second position to the
first position. In contrast, the technical solution of this embodiment according to
the present invention is improved through providing double elastic members from left
and right sides of the driving port 42, which can ensure that the bouncing moving
of the movable member can be activated by pressing the operating member in the upper
portion, middle portion and lower portion, which is easier to operate and greatly
improves using experience of a user.
[0029] Optionally, in one embodiment, the roots of the first elastic portion 411 and the
second elastic portion 412 are connected to both sides of the port and the end of
the first elastic portion 411 and the second elastic portion 412 are raised outward
and extended out of the outer side wall of the driving member in a natural state,
so that when the operating member 20 is installed in the operating area 13 of the
housing 10, the first elastic portion 411 and the second elastic portion 412 can apply
elastic force to the operating member 20 in a natural state. Of course, the skilled
person in the art can understand that in some embodiments, only one elastic portion
can be provided.
[0030] Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the housing 10 of an embodiment according
to the present invention. As shown in Fig. 5, in an embodiment, the housing 10 comprises
an outer housing 11 and an inner housing 12. Height of the inner housing 12 is lower
than the height of the outer housing 11, and the inner housing is installed in the
outer housing and arranged in a lower part of the outer housing. Optionally, the outer
housing 11 is formed as a cylindrical shape and has an open upper end and an open
lower end, and the inner housing 12 has an open upper end and an close lower end.
When the inner housing 12 is installed in the outer housing 11, the outer housing
11 is sleeved outside the inner housing 12, and the bottom of the inner housing 12
is the bottom of the whole housing 10, and the movable member 30 is installed in the
inner housing 12. The operating area 13 is an operating window provided on the side
wall of the outer housing 11, and the inner housing 12 is provided with an avoidance
port 121 on the corresponding part of the operating window, and an avoidance groove
122 is provided below the avoidance port 121. Optionally, the avoidance port 121 extends
downward from the top of the inner housing 12 and is connected to the avoidance groove
122. The width of the avoidance groove 122 is less than the width of the avoidance
port 121 and the bottom part of the avoidance groove 122 is closed to form an avoidance
groove bottom 123.
[0031] Optionally, the outer wall of the inner housing 12 is provided with multiple vertical
limiting ribs, and the inner wall of the outer housing 11 is provided with multiple
vertical limiting grooves. The inner housing is fixedly installed in the outer housing

outer wall of the inner housing 12.
[0033] Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the movable member 30 of an embodiment according
to the present invention. As shown in Fig. 6, in an embodiment, the upper end of the
movable member 30 is opened to accommodate such as a middle bundle for installing
cosmetics and an opening 31 is formed on the side wall of the movable member 30. The
side wall below the opening 31 protrudes outward for a certain distance to form an
accommodation portion 32, that is, compared with the inner wall of the inner housing
12, the inner wall of the accommodation portion 32 is protruded outward to form a
chamber to cooperate with the operating member 20. At the same time, the accommodation
portion 32 cooperates with the avoidance groove 122 of the inner housing 12 and is
embedded in the avoidance groove 122 during installation to limit the rotation of
the movable member 30 in the lower housing 12. That is, the left and right positions
of the accommodation portion 32 are limited by the avoidance groove 122, so that the
movable member 30 can only be moved up and down in the inner housing 12 and cannot
be rotated toward left or right.
[0034] Optionally, returning to reference to Fig.5, the bottom of the avoidance groove 122
is higher than the bottom of the inner housing 12, and the movable member 30 overcomes
the elastic force of the elastic member 50 to move downward to a certain position,

outer wall of the inner housing 12) abuts against the bottom of the avoidance groove

to the present invention. As shown in Fig. 7, in an embodiment, the operating member
20 comprises an operating body 21 and a locking portion 22 extending downward from
the operating body 21. The outer wall of the locking portion 22 is lowered by a certain
distance from the outer wall of the operating body 21 so that it can reach into the
accommodation portion 32 of the movable member 30 when being pressed and can move
outward with the elastic force of the elastic portion 41 of the driving member and
cooperate with the top 321 of the accommodation portion 32 of the movable member 30
to limit the movable member to move upward under the elastic force and thus limit
the movable member 30 in the first position.
[0036] Returning to Fig. 1 and Fig. 6, in one embodiment, the cosmetic container 100 further
comprises an annular magnet and an annular counterweight block. The bottom of the
movable member 30 is provided with a protruding portion 33 that protrudes downward.
The annular magnet and the annular counterweight block are successively sleeved on
the outer side of the protruding portion 33, wherein, the annular magnet has a thinner
thickness and thus is lighter in weight. Therefore, in order to obtain an excellent
technical effect, the annular counterweight block is used. The upper end of the elastic
member is sleeved on the outer side of the annular magnet and the annular counterweight
block, and the lower end of the elastic member is installed on the bottom of the inner
housing.
[0037] In an embodiment, the cosmetic container further comprises an annular magnet iron
60. A protruding portion 33 protruding downward is provided at the bottom of the movable
member 30. The inner diameter of the annular magnet iron 60 matches the outer diameter
of the protruding portion 33. The height of the annual magnet iron 60 is equal to
the height of the protruding portion 33 and the annual magnet iron 60 is sleeved on
the outer side of the protruding portion 33. The elastic member 50 is a spring. The
upper end of the spring is sleeved on the outer side of the annular magnet iron 60,
and the lower end of the spring is installed on the bottom of the inner housing 12.
Compared to the technical solution using magnet together with counterweight, the technical
solution only using annular magnet iron 60 which is formed by magnetizing annular
iron can save one component, so as to facilitate installation and save costs.

equal to the height of the protruding portion 33 of the movable member 30 and equal
to the distance between the first position and the second position.
[0039] In one embodiment, both side walls of the avoidance port 121 of inner housing are
provided with transverse limiting position grooves 125 which are symmetrically arranged
with respect to the avoidance port 121, and the side wall opposite to the avoidance

a middle bundle 200, which is installed in the housing for installing cosmetics such
as lipstick, wherein the middle bundle is formed by injection molding with plastic
added iron-containing powder. The magnet iron 60 applies magnetic force to the middle
bundle when the middle bundle is installed in the housing 10.
[0041] Referring to Figs. 2-3, during installation, the annular magnet iron 60 is fixedly
installed on the outer side of the protruding portion 33 at the bottom of the movable
member 30, and the upper end of the elastic member 50 is fixedly installed on the
outer side of the annular magnet iron. Then the movable member 30 installed with the
annular magnet and the elastic member is arranged in the inner housing 12. The opening
of the movable member 30 is aligned with the avoidance port 121 of the inner housing
12. The accommodation portion 32 of the moving member 30 extends out of the avoidance
groove 122 of the inner housing 12. The lower end of the elastic member 50 abuts against
the bottom of the inner housing 12, and then the driving member 40 is installed on
the upper part of the inner housing 12. The driving port 42 of the driving member
40 is substantially aligned with the avoidance port 121 of the inner housing 12. The
bottom side wall of the driving member 40 is aligned with the upper side wall of the
movable member 30. When the annular protrusion 43 on the upper end of the driving
member 40 abuts against the top of the inner housing 12, the top 321 of the accommodation
portion 32 of the movable member 30 is substantially flush with the bottom of the
avoidance port 121 of the inner housing 12, and the elastic member 50 is in a slightly
compressed state and maintains a small upward elastic force. The driving member 40
is clamped and fixed though matching the transverse limiting position grooves on the
inner house with the transverse limiting ribs and by matching the vertical limiting
position groove on the inner housing with the vertical limiting position rib. That
is to say, if the transverse limiting position ribs and the vertical limit rib are
not respectively snapped into the transverse limiting position grooves and the vertical
limiting position groove, the movable member and the driving member may move up a
certain distance under the elastic force of the elastic member. However, the positions
of the driving member and the moving member are limited by respectively snapping the
transverse limiting position ribs of the driving member into the transverse limiting
position grooves of the inner housing and snapping the vertical limiting position
ribs of the driving member into the vertical limiting position groove of the inner
housing to resist the small elastic force of the elastic member, so as to limit the
position of the moving member and the driving member, that is, the position of the
moving member is limited at the first position by the driving member, and then the
inner housing 12 installed with the movable member, the driving member, the magnet
iron and the elastic member is fixed in the outer housing 11. Then the operating member
20 is installed in the outer housing 10 and the operating body 21 is right facing
the operating window 13 and protrudes from the operating window 13 to be the same
cylindrical surface as the outer wall of the outer housing 11. The top of the operating
member 20 can optionally form an inward recessed structure to snap into the housing,
and the locking portion 22 at the bottom of the operating member 20 protrudes into
the accommodation portion 32 of the movable member 30 or aligns with the top surface
of the accommodation portion 32 to limit position of the movable member. The middle
bundle 200 is installed in the housing and is adsorbed at the bottom of the movable
member 30 via the magnetic force of the magnet iron 60. The movable member 30 is limited
to the first position by the alignment stop of the locking portion 22 of the operating
member 20 and the accommodation portion of the movable member 30, at this time, the
middle bundle and cosmetics such as lipstick are accommodated in the housing. When
needed to be used, the body of the elastic member is operated such as pressing to
overcome the elastic force of the elastic portion of the elastic member, and the locking
portion moves inward and leaves away from the top of the accommodation portion. Under
the elastic force of the elastic member 60, the movable member 30 moves upward, and
the locking portion of the operating member extends into the accommodation portion,
and the movable member drives the middle bundle and cosmetics such as lipstick to
move upwards and beyond the top of the housing, and users can easily take out cosmetics
such as lipstick for use.
[0042] It should be noted that the middle bundle can also be replaced by other cosmetic
carriers, such as mascara, and when the cosmetic container is in a closed state, the
middle bundle can also be limited in the housing by snaps etc.

and changes according to the content of the present invention. These equivalent forms
also fall within the scope of the claims attached to this application.
1. A cosmetic container comprising:
a housing provided with an operating area,
a movable member provided in a lower part of the housing,
an elastic member provided at bottom of the housing and located below the movable
member to drive the moveable member to move upward,
a driving member provided above the movable member and constructed to limit the movable
member to a first position, and
an operating member provided at the operating area and constructed to cooperate with
the movable member to limit the movable member to a second position,
wherein the movable member can move upward from the second position to the first position
under elastic force of the elastic member by operating the operating member to remove
from limiting position of the movable member.
2. The cosmetic container of claim 1, wherein the driving member is provided with an
elastic portion cooperated with the operating member, and when the movable member
moves from the first position to the second position, the elastic portion applies
elastic force on the operating member, thereby the operating member limits the movable
member at the second position.
3. The cosmetic container of claim 2, wherein the driving member forms an annular structure
and forms a driving port on a side wall, and the elastic portion comprises a first
elastic portion and a second elastic portion constructed to respectively extend from
both sides of the driving port and be separated by a certain distance in middle.
4. The cosmetic container of claim 3, wherein roots of the first elastic portion and
the second elastic portion are connected to both sides of the driving port and ends
of the first elastic portion and the second elastic portion turn outward and extend
out of outer side wall of the driving member so as to apply elastic force to the operating
member in a natural state.
5. The cosmetic container of claim 1, wherein the housing comprises an outer housing
and an inner housing; the inner housing is provided inside the outer housing and located
in lower part of the outer housing; the movable member is installed in the inner housing;
the operating area is an operating window provided on side wall of the outer housing;
the inner housing is provided with an avoidance port on a position corresponding to
the operating window; and the avoidance groove is provided below the avoidance port.
6. The cosmetic container of claim 5, wherein an upper part of the driving member is
provided with an annular protrusion protruded outward and cooperated with a top of
the inner housing, and wall thickness of the annular protrusion is constructed to
be thinner above the driving port.
7. The cosmetic container of claim 6, wherein bottom of the annular protrusion of the
driving member is constructed to abut against top of the inner housing and outer wall
of the annular protrusion is located on the same cylindrical surface as outer wall
of the inner housing.
8. The cosmetic container of claim 5, wherein an upper part of the moveable member is
opened to accommodate a device used to install cosmetics and a side wall of the moveable
member forms an opening, wherein a side wall below the opening protrudes outward for
a certain distance to form an accommodation portion, and the accommodation portion
cooperates with the avoidance groove to limit rotation of the movable member in the
inner housing.
9. The cosmetic container of claim 8, wherein bottom of the avoidance groove is constructed
to be higher than bottom of the inner housing, and when the movable member overcomes
the elastic force of the elastic member to move downward, the bottom of the accommodation
portion cooperates with the bottom of the avoidance groove to limit further movement
downward of the movable member.
10. The cosmetic container of claim 8, wherein the operating member includes an operating
body and a locking portion extending downward from the operating body; an outer wall
of the locking portion is constructed to be lowered by a certain distance from the
outer wall of the operating body, so that the locking portion can reach into the accommodation
portion when being pressed and can move outward under elastic force of the driving
portion of the driving member and cooperate with top of the accommodation portion
of the movable member to lock the movable member in the second position.
11. The cosmetic container of claim 5, wherein the cosmetic container further comprising
an annular magnet iron, the bottom of the movable member is provided with a downward
protruded portion; the height of the annular magnet iron is equal to the height of
the downward protruded portion and the annular magnet iron is sleeved on outside of
the protruding portion; the elastic member is a spring and an upper end of the spring
is sleeved on outside of the annular magnet and a lower end of the spring is installed
at the bottom of the inner housing.
12. The cosmetic container of claim 10, wherein height of the locking portion of the operating
member is substantively equal to height of the protruding portion of the movable member
and is equal to distance between the first position and the second position.
13. The cosmetic container of claim 5, wherein both side walls of the avoidance port of
the inner housing are symmetrically provided with transverse limiting position grooves
arranged with respect to the avoidance port, and side wall opposite to the avoidance
port is provided with a vertical limiting position groove, and the driving member
is provided with transverse limiting position ribs cooperated with the transverse
limiting position grooves and a vertical limiting position rib cooperated with the
vertical limiting position groove to fix the driving member to the inner housing.
14. The cosmetic container of claim 5, wherein outer wall of the inner housing is provided
with multiple vertical limiting position ribs, and the inner wall of the outer housing
is provided with multiple vertical limiting position grooves, wherein the inner housing
is fixed and installed in the outer housing through cooperation of the multiple vertical
limiting position ribs and the multiple vertical limiting position grooves.
15. The cosmetic container of claim 11, wherein the cosmetic container further comprises
a middle bundle installed in the housing and used to install cosmetics, wherein the
middle bundle is formed by injection molding with plastic added iron-containing powder
and the annular magnet iron applies force to the middle bundle when the middle bundle
is installed in the housing.
