(57) A decorative panel (12) comprises a decorative top layer (13), a core (14) and a balancing layer (15). The decorative panel (12) is rectangular; and comprises a first pair of opposite edges (20, 21). The edges of the first pair of edges comprises coupling parts provided with locking parts (27, 28). The decorative surface of the decorative panel comprises at least one slot (30) - and preferably a plurality of slots - extending through the decorative top layer (13) into the core (14).
