(54) INFLATABLE MATTRESS

(57) The present invention relates to the field of mattresses, and in particular to an inflatable mattress. In existing inflatable massage mattresses, internal air hoses are arranged in a disorderly manner, which can easily cause discomfort by pressing against the user, and the air hoses are susceptible to being crushed. To address this problem, the present invention provides an inflatable mattress, which includes a massage layer and a support layer arranged vertically, and a perimeter layer surrounding and fitting against the massage layer and the support layer. The massage layer is provided with massage airbags inside. The massage airbags are connected via air hoses to an air hose adapter box located externally to the massage layer. The massage layer and the perimeter layer are provided with accommodation spaces for routing and housing the air hoses. An outer side surface of the perimeter layer is provided with a through hole for mounting the air hose adapter box. The through hole is butt-connected and in communication with the accommodation space on the perimeter layer that routes and houses the air hoses. By providing the internal accommodation spaces to route and guide the air hoses, the air hoses are organized, shielded, and protected. This prevents the air hoses from pressing against the user and from being damaged under pressure. Consequently, not only is the mattress comfortable to use, but the air hoses are also protected, thereby extending the service life of the air hoses.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of mattresses, and in particular to, an inflatable mattress.

BACKGROUND

[0002] An existing inflatable mattress with inflation/deflation functionality primarily performs massage work by repeatedly inflating and deflating massage airbags within an internal massage layer of the mattress. Air hoses supporting the inflation and deflation of the massage airbags are disorderly scattered on the surface of the massage layer. These air hoses are mainly formed by connecting flexible tubes via various types of connectors with different functions. When a user lies on the mattress, they press against the flexible tubes and connectors, resulting in a noticeable foreign body sensation and causing discomfort. Simultaneously, the air hoses are also susceptible to being crushed, affecting the normal inflation and deflation operation of the mattress.

[0003] Further, a support layer that provides support via airbags has a similar problem. The supporting air hoses for inflating and deflating the airbags within the support layer are also arranged in a disorderly manner. These air hoses are also flexible tubes connected via various connectors, which not only cause discomfort by pressing against the user but are also easily crushed. Internally, the mattress is constructed by laminating and adhesively bonding different core layers. Whether vertically or horizontally, adjacent layers are fixed together using adhesive glue. Once fixed, they are difficult to separate, which is not conducive to subsequent recycling of the mattress. Moreover, adhesive bonding is not environmentally friendly. The glue used in the mattress may be affected by seasonal changes and temperature during use, releasing irritating odors, posing health and safety risks, and impacting the user's physical health.

SUMMARY

[0004] To solve the technical problems in the existing inflatable mattresses, such as internal air hoses being arranged in a disorderly manner which causes discomfort to the user and the air hoses being easily crushed, the present invention provides an inflatable mattress. By providing and laying dedicated internal paths for routing and guiding the air hoses, the present invention organizes, shields, and protects the air hoses. This prevents the air hoses from causing discomfort to the user and from being damaged under pressure, thereby improving the comfort level of the mattress while effectively protecting the air hoses, extending the service life of the air hoses, and ensuring the normal inflation and deflation operation of the mattress.

[0005] The present invention solves the technical problems by adopting the following technical solution: an inflatable mattress, including a massage layer and a support layer arranged vertically, and a perimeter layer surrounding and fitting against the massage layer and the support layer, where the massage layer is provided with massage airbags inside, the massage airbags are connected via air hoses to an air hose adapter box located externally to the massage layer, the massage layer and the perimeter layer are provided with accommodation spaces for routing and housing the air hoses, an outer side surface of the perimeter layer is provided with a through hole for mounting the air hose adapter box, and the through hole is butt-connected and in communication with the accommodation space on the perimeter layer that routes and houses the air hoses. The present invention organizes and conceals the routing of the air hoses through the massage layer and the perimeter layer. Specifically, accommodation spaces are provided on the massage layer and the perimeter layer for the air hoses to be routed through. An air hose connected to a massage airbag enters the accommodation space of the massage layer, then proceeds into the accommodation space of the perimeter layer, and subsequently enters a through hole that is connected and in communication therewith, to connect with an air hose adapter box fitted into the through hole. The air hose that connects the massage airbag and the air hose adapter box is concealed within the massage layer and the perimeter layer. The massage layer and the perimeter layer are utilized to shield and protect the air hoses, thereby preventing the air hoses from causing discomfort to the user and from being crushed and damaged, and extending the service life of the air hoses.

[0006] As a further refinement and supplement to the technical solution, the present invention adopts the following technical measures: the accommodation space includes a first open slot disposed on the massage layer and a second open slot disposed on the perimeter layer, the first open slot is laterally positioned on a long side surface of the massage layer, the second open slot is laterally positioned on a short side surface of an inner side of the perimeter layer, an opening of the first open slot and an opening of the second open slot are both located at edges of respective side surfaces, the two openings are butt-connected and in communication, and an inner end of the second open slot away from the opening thereof is butt-connected and in communication with the through hole. The massage layer, through the first open slot provided thereon, cooperates with the second open slot on the perimeter layer to jointly serve as the accommodation spaces for the air hoses to be routed through. When the massage layer and the perimeter layer are fitted in place, openings of the two open slots are butt-connected and in communication with each other, linking the accommodation spaces of the massage layer and the perimeter layer to allow the air hoses to be routed therethrough.

[0007] Preferably, the through hole is disposed at a height lower than a height at which the second open slot is disposed, an inner end of the second open slot away from the opening thereof extends downward to butt-connect and be in communication with the through hole such that the second open slot forms a horizontal L-shape, an outer end of a horizontal portion of the L-shape constitutes a butt-connection position between the second open slot and the through hole, and an outer end of a vertical portion of the L-shape constitutes an opening position of the second open slot. An inner end of the second open slot extends downward to be butt-connected and in communication with the through hole, which is located lower than the second open slot. This extension causes the second open slot to form a horizontal L-shape, where an outer end of a vertical portion of the L-shape corresponds to the opening of the second open slot, and an outer end of a horizontal portion of the L-shape corresponds to a position where the second open slot is butt-connected to the through hole.

[0008] Preferably, the second open slot is laterally positioned on a short inner side surface of the perimeter layer corresponding to a foot side, and the opening of the first open slot is located at an end of a long side surface of the massage layer corresponding to the foot side. Since the second open slot is located on a short side of the perimeter layer corresponding to the foot side, and correspondingly, the opening of the first open slot is located at an end of a long side surface of the massage layer corresponding to the foot side, a connection position between the air hoses and the air hose adapter box is arranged on the foot side, away from a headboard side. Consequently, a noise source generated during the air supply operation of the air hose adapter box is located away from the headboard side, resulting in minimal impact on the user.

[0009] Preferably, the perimeter layer is a rectangular frame formed by splicing two long side foam pieces and two short side foam pieces, the second open slot is laterally positioned on an inner side surface of one of the short side foam pieces, the short side foam piece is composed of an inner foam layer and an outer foam layer bonded together, and the second open slot and the through hole are respectively disposed on the inner foam layer and the outer foam layer. The second open slot and the through hole are respectively disposed on two vertically attached foam pieces, with the second open slot located on an inner foam piece and the through hole located on an outer foam piece. The two foam pieces are independently manufactured and separately provided with the second open slot and the through hole. This method presents lower technical requirements and higher efficiency compared to simultaneously forming both the second open slot and the through hole on a single foam piece. In practice, the two layers of foam may be adhered side by side to form the short side foam piece.

[0010] Preferably, the perimeter layer is enveloped within a perimeter cover, and the perimeter cover is provided, at a side wall edge thereof corresponding to the second open slot, with at least one second opening formed by a zipper opening/closing mechanism and configured to match the opening of the second open slot for threading the air hoses therethrough. The perimeter cover envelops the entire perimeter layer, serving as an integrated independent unit to facilitate mattress assembly and production. The perimeter cover is provided, at a corresponding side wall edge, with a zipper forming an openable/closable second opening that matches the second open slot, thereby allowing the air hoses to pass into and out of the second open slot via the second opening.

[0011] Preferably, the massage layer is enveloped within a massage cover, and the massage cover is provided, at a short side edge thereof corresponding to the massage layer, with a first opening formed by a double-pull zipper and configured to match the opening of the first open slot for threading the air hoses therethrough. The massage cover envelops the massage layer, serving as an independent unit to facilitate mattress assembly and production. The massage cover is provided, at a short side edge thereof corresponding to the massage layer, with a first opening formed by a double-pull zipper and configured to match the opening of the first open slot for threading the air hoses therethrough to connect to the massage airbags within the massage layer. By moving the double-pull zipper, a position of the first opening on the massage cover can be adjusted to match the opening.

[0012] Preferably, the massage cover includes an openable/closable structure formed by a double-pull zipper extending along a periphery thereof, and the double-pull zipper forms a gap as the first opening by making two zipper sliders separated. The massage cover is provided with an openable/closable opening formed by a double-pull zipper, which is used for enveloping and removing the massage layer. When the two zipper sliders of the double-pull zipper are not closed together, they form a gap, which serves as the first opening.

[0013] Preferably, the massage layer includes a perforated pad, a lower pad, and a base pad stacked from top to bottom, the perforated pad is provided with through holes matching the massage airbags, the massage airbags are supported on the lower pad, and the first open slot is disposed on a long side surface of the base pad. The perforated pad is used for placing the massage airbags. The perforated pad is provided with through holes for mounting the massage airbags. The lower pad is attached to the perforated pad to support the massage airbags from below. The base pad is attached to the lower pad to provide elastic isolation between the massage layer and other pad layers below. The first open slot for routing the air hoses is disposed on a long side surface of the base pad.

[0014] Preferably, a top pad is attached onto the perforated pad, and the lower pad is a firm pad. The top pad is placed over the perforated pad to flatten a surface of the massage layer, thereby improving comfort in use. The lower pad is a firm pad, having a flat surface and being resistant to deformation, which provides a level support base for the massage airbags, allowing the airbags to lie flat and function properly.

[0015] Preferably, the support layer is provided with a plurality of support airbag mounting holes distributed in a plane and is equipped with airbags, the airbags are connected via the air hoses to the air hose adapter box located externally to the support layer, the support layer is provided with the accommodation space for routing and housing the air hoses which is in communication with the through hole, the accommodation space includes a third open slot disposed on the support layer, the third open slot is laterally positioned on a long side wall of the support layer, and an opening of the third open slot is located at an edge of a side wall on which it is located, and is butt-connected and in communication with the opening at one end of the second open slot. The air hoses supplying air to the airbags located in the support layer also have dedicated accommodation spaces for organized and concealed pipeline routing. This prevents the corresponding air hoses from causing discomfort to the user, avoids them from being crushed, and extends the service life of the air hoses.

[0016] Preferably, the support layer includes an upper perforated pad and a lower perforated pad attached to a bottom surface thereof, the upper perforated pad and the lower perforated pad are provided with the support airbag mounting holes corresponding in position and quantity, and a long side wall of at least one of the upper perforated pad and the lower perforated pad is provided with the third open slot. The support layer employs two layers of perforated pads attached together, with corresponding support airbags mounted therein to provide effective support. At least one of the two perforated pads is provided with the third open slot opened on a long side wall thereof for mounting the air hoses that inflate and deflate the airbags. In practice, either perforated pad may be provided with the third open slot, or the complete third open slot may be formed by each of the two perforated pads having a half-slot that are then spliced together.

[0017] Preferably, an edge of an airbag on the support layer is provided with a protruding air nozzle that extends into the third open slot, and an air hose runs through the third open slot and is in communication with the air nozzle. An air nozzle provided at an edge of an airbag directly extends into the third open slot to connect with the air hose routed therethrough.

[0018] Preferably, the support layer is enveloped within a support cover, and the support cover is provided, at a long side wall edge thereof corresponding to the support layer, with a third opening configured to match the opening of the third open slot for threading the air hoses therethrough. By being enveloped within the support cover, the support layer becomes an independent unit, facilitating mattress assembly and production. Simultaneously, the support cover is provided, at a long side wall edge thereof corresponding to the support layer, with a third opening configured to match the opening of the third open slot, thereby allowing the air hoses to pass through the support cover to connect to the airbags of the support layer. The third opening may further adopt an openable/closable structure, such as a zippered opening.

[0019] Preferably, a base layer is disposed below the support layer, and the base layer and the perimeter layer are enveloped within a perimeter cover to be integrally formed into a perimeter module having an open top and a bottom; the massage layer and the support layer are respectively enveloped within the massage cover and the support cover to be integrally formed into a massage module and a support module, and are vertically stacked within an accommodation cavity on an inner side of the perimeter module, and connections between the perimeter module and the massage module and between the massage module and the support module are detachable connections. By independently enveloping each layer within the mattress in the corresponding cover, integrated and mutually independent modules are formed. Adjacent modules are detachably connected to each other, thereby positioning and connecting the modules. This facilitates mattress production, assembly, and disassembly for recycling. The modules do not require adhesive bonding for positioning, eliminating the environmental issues associated with adhesives and the health and safety risks caused by glue volatilization, making the mattress more environmentally friendly and healthier compared to mattresses assembled using adhesive fixation.

[0020] Preferably, the detachable connections are zipper connections, an inner side edge of the accommodation cavity of the perimeter module and an upper edge of the massage module are respectively provided with a first zipper and a second zipper matching each other, and a lower edge of the massage module and an upper edge of the support module are respectively provided with a third zipper and a fourth zipper matching each other. Detachable connections between edges of the perimeter module and the massage module, as well as between the massage module and the support module, are achieved via zippers, thereby enabling rapid assembly, disassembly, and positioning connection between two adjacent modules.

[0021] Preferably, the first zipper and the second zipper extend continuously or intermittently along the inner side edge of the accommodation cavity and an upper edge of the massage cover respectively, and the third zipper and the fourth zipper extend continuously or intermittently along a lower edge of the massage cover and an upper edge of the support cover respectively. The zippers may extend continuously or intermittently along corresponding edges of the covers as required for connection and positioning, thereby satisfying the connection and positioning needs between two adjacent modules.

[0022] Preferably, each of the perimeter module, the massage module, and the support module has a rectangular outer contour, the first zipper extends continuously along the perimeter cover at an edge of the accommodation cavity, the second zipper extends continuously along the massage cover at four sides of the rectangular outer contour, the third zipper extends along the massage cover at two parallel sides of the rectangular outer contour, and the fourth zipper extends along the support cover at two parallel sides of the rectangular outer contour. Each module has a rectangular outer contour, facilitating the corresponding zippers to extend along sides of the rectangular outer contour. Specifically, the first zipper is disposed along an inner edge of the perimeter cover, and the second zipper is disposed along all four sides of the rectangular outer contour, thereby achieving a zippered connection between the perimeter module and the massage module. The third zipper is disposed along two opposite sides of the rectangular outer contour, and the fourth zipper is also disposed along two opposite sides of the rectangular outer contour, thereby achieving a zippered connection between the massage module and the support module.

[0023] Preferably, the third zipper and the fourth zipper extend along two long sides of the rectangular outer contour of the massage module and along two long sides of the rectangular outer contour of the support module respectively. The zippers connecting the massage cover and the support cover both extend along two long sides of the rectangular outer contour, resulting in a longer connection and positioning area between the massage cover and the support cover, thereby making the connection between the massage module and the support module more secure.

[0024] Preferably, each of the perimeter cover, the massage cover, and the support cover is provided with an openable/closable opening/closing structure, the opening/closing structure on the perimeter cover is located below the first zipper, the opening/closing structure on the massage cover is located between the second zipper and the third zipper, and the opening/closing structure on the support cover is located below the fourth zipper. Each of the perimeter cover, the massage cover, and the support cover is provided with a corresponding opening/closing structure, enabling the respective cover to be opened or closed as needed for mounting and removing an inner core within the cover. The inner core may be an elastic pad of various softness, a massage airbag, or other functional devices. Meanwhile, a position of the opening/closing structure needs to avoid zippers on the respective cover that are used for connecting adjacent modules during mounting. In practice, the opening/closing structure may be a zipper, snap buttons, or a hook-and-loop fastener. When a zipper is used, a double-pull zipper is preferred. The double-pull zipper has higher strength and is more durable than a single-pull zipper, effectively ensuring that the cover reliably closes and envelops the inner core.

[0025] Preferably, the base layer either is tightly attached to a bottom surface of the perimeter layer, or is disposed in an inner side clearance space of the perimeter layer, with four sides of the base layer being attached to the perimeter layer adjacent thereto. The base layer may be attached to a bottom surface of the perimeter layer, or placed within an inner side clearance space of the perimeter layer, and then enclosed together with the perimeter layer within the perimeter cover, forming a perimeter module with a base.

[0026] The present invention has the following beneficial technical effects: by providing corresponding accommodation spaces in the massage layer, the perimeter layer, and the support for routing the air hoses, the present invention organizes, conceals, and protects the air hoses, thereby preventing the air hoses from causing discomfort to the user and from being damaged by crushing, and further extending the service life of the air hoses; the various layers within the mattress are enveloped in their respective covers and integrated into independent modules, such that the modules are quickly detachable and connectable via zippers, thereby facilitating assembly and disassembly for recycling, avoiding the need for adhesive bonding for positioning, and making the mattress environmentally friendly and healthy to use; the cover of each module is also provided with the zippers capable of forming the opening for threading the air hoses.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

[0029] The present invention will be further described below in detail in combination with the specific embodiments with reference to the drawings.

[0030] As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 15, the present invention provides an inflatable mattress, which includes a massage layer 1 and a support layer 19 arranged vertically, and a perimeter layer 2 surrounding and fitting against the massage layer 1 and the support layer 19. The massage layer 1 is provided with massage airbags 18 inside. The massage airbags 18 are connected via air hoses to an air hose adapter box 4 located externally to the massage layer 1. The massage layer 1 and the perimeter layer 2 are provided with accommodation spaces for routing and housing the air hoses. An outer side surface of the perimeter layer 2 is provided with a through hole 5 for mounting the air hose adapter box 4. The through hole 5 is butt-connected and in communication with the accommodation space on the perimeter layer 2 that routes and houses the air hoses. The accommodation space on the massage layer 1 includes a first open slot 6 laterally disposed on a long side surface of the massage layer 1. The accommodation space on the perimeter layer 2 includes a second open slot 7 laterally disposed on a short side surface of an inner side of the perimeter layer 2. An opening of the first open slot 6 and an opening of the second open slot 7 are both located at edges of respective side surfaces. The two openings are butt-connected and in communication. An inner end of the second open slot 7 away from the opening thereof is butt-connected and in communication with the through hole 5.

[0031] The massage layer, through the first open slot provided thereon, cooperates with the second open slot on the perimeter layer to jointly provide concealed accommodation spaces for routing and housing the air hoses, offering shielding and protective coverage. When the massage layer and the perimeter layer are fitted in place, the openings of the two open slots are butt-connected and in communication with each other, linking the accommodation spaces of the massage layer and the perimeter layer. This prevents the air hoses from being exposed, which could cause discomfort to the user and lead to crushing damage, while simultaneously extending the service life of the air hoses. The air hose adapter box is connected via an air hose to an air source control box equipped with an air pump, which constitutes prior art for inflatable mattresses.

[0032] Further, as shown in the figures, the massage layer 1 includes a perforated pad 10, a lower pad 17, and a base pad 11 stacked from top to bottom. The perforated pad 10 is provided with through holes matching the massage airbags 18. The massage airbags 18 are supported on the lower pad 17. The first open slot 6 is disposed on a long side surface of the base pad 11. A top pad 12 is attached onto the perforated pad 10. The lower pad 17 is a firm pad. The top pad is placed over the perforated pad to flatten the surface of the massage layer, thereby improving comfort in use. The perforated pad is provided with through holes for mounting the massage airbags. The lower pad is a firm pad, having a flat surface and being resistant to deformation. It is attached to the perforated pad to provide a level support base for the massage airbags, allowing the airbags to lie flat and function properly. The base pad is attached to the lower pad to provide elastic isolation between the massage layer and other pad layers below. The first open slot for routing the air hoses is disposed on a long side surface of the base pad.

[0033] As shown in FIG. 5, the through hole 5 is disposed at a height lower than a height at which the second open slot 7 is disposed. An inner end of the second open slot 7 away from the opening thereof extends downward to butt-connect and be in communication with the through hole 5 such that the second open slot 7 forms a horizontal L-shape. An outer end of a horizontal portion of the L-shape constitutes a butt-connection position between the second open slot 7 and the through hole 5, and an outer end of a vertical portion of the L-shape constitutes an opening position of the second open slot 7.

[0034] As shown in FIG. 3, the second open slot 7 is laterally positioned on a short inner side surface of the perimeter layer 2 corresponding to a foot side. The opening of the first open slot 6 is located at an end of a long side surface of the massage layer 1 corresponding to the foot side. Since the connection position between the air hoses and the air hose adapter box is arranged on the foot side, away from the headboard side, the noise source generated during the air supply operation of the air hose adapter box is located away from the headboard side, resulting in minimal impact on the user.

[0035] As shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 7, the perimeter layer 2 is a rectangular frame formed by splicing two long side foam pieces 8 and two short side foam pieces 9. The second open slot 7 is laterally positioned on an inner side surface of one of the short side foam pieces 9. This short side foam piece 9 is composed of an inner foam layer and an outer foam layer bonded together. The second open slot 7 and the through hole 5 are respectively disposed on the outer foam layer and the inner foam layer. The two foam layers can be independently manufactured to form the second open slot and the through hole separately. This method presents lower technical requirements and higher efficiency compared to simultaneously forming both the second open slot and the through hole on a single foam piece. In use, the two foam layers are adhered side by side to serve as one short side foam piece of the perimeter layer.

[0036] As shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, the massage layer 1 and the perimeter layer 2 are respectively enveloped within a massage cover 13 and a perimeter cover 15. The massage cover 13 includes an openable/closable structure formed by a double-pull zipper extending along a periphery thereof. The double-pull zipper forms a gap as the first opening 14 by making two zipper sliders separated to match the opening of the first open slot 6 for threading the air hoses therethrough. As shown in the figures, the first opening 14 is located at a short side edge corresponding to the massage layer 1. The perimeter cover 15 is provided, at a side wall edge thereof corresponding to the second open slot 7, with at least one second opening 16 formed by a zipper opening/closing mechanism and configured to match the opening of the second open slot 7 for threading the air hoses therethrough.

[0037] The massage cover and the perimeter cover respectively envelop the massage layer and the perimeter layer. After being enveloped, they become two independent units, facilitating mattress assembly and production. The first opening on the massage cover and the second opening on the perimeter cover are both for the purpose of threading the air hoses therethrough. The massage cover employs a double-pull zipper. By moving and adjusting the positions of two zipper sliders, the specific position of the first opening on the massage cover can be adjusted.

[0038] As shown in FIG. 1, the support layer 19 is also provided with inflatable/deflatable airbags (not shown) to provide elastic support. The airbags in the support layer 19 are distributed in a plane. Each airbag is mounted in a respective support airbag mounting hole 20 provided on the support layer. The airbags are connected via air hoses to the air hose adapter box 4 located externally to the support layer 19. The support layer 19 is also provided with an accommodation space for routing and housing the air hoses. The accommodation space is in communication with the perimeter 5. Specifically, the accommodation space is a third open slot 21 disposed on the support layer 19. The third open slot 21 is laterally positioned on a long side wall of the support layer 19. An opening of the third open slot 21 and the opening of the second open slot 7 are both located at edges of respective side walls, and the two openings are butt-connected and in communication. During operation, the air hoses connecting the airbags of the support layer and the air hose adapter box are routed and concealed within the support layer and the perimeter layer, achieving shielding and protection. This prevents these air hoses from causing discomfort to the user and from being crushed, thereby extending the service life of the air hoses. The air hoses connected to the airbags of the support layer enter the accommodation space of the perimeter layer from the accommodation space of the support layer. Since the third open slot and the second open slot are butt-connected and in communication, the air hoses pass smoothly from the support layer into the perimeter layer, proceed from the second open slot to the position of the through hole, and are butt-connected with the air hose adapter box fitted into the through hole. The air hose adapter box is connected via an air hose to an air source control box equipped with an air pump, which constitutes prior art for inflatable support mattresses.

[0039] As shown in the figures, the support layer 19 includes an upper perforated pad 23 and a lower perforated pad 24 attached to a bottom surface thereof.
