<heading id="h0001">Technical field</heading>

The present invention belongs to the technical field of bathroom products, and relates to a shower.

<heading id="h0002">Background</heading>

A shower is a spray nozzle for showering. An ordinary shower has a problem that water is not stopped immediately after water is shut off, and for this reason, engineers continuously innovate the shower and try to solve the problem.

For example, a Chinese patent document (Publication No.: <patcit id="pcit0001" dnum="CN115138491A"><text>CN115138491A</text></patcit>) discloses a method for shutting off water and a water outlet device, wherein the water outlet device is a top-spray shower. A variable chamber and a water outlet chamber are disposed in the water outlet device, the water outlet device is provided with water outlet holes communicating with the water outlet chamber, and water shut-off sealing members are disposed at positions where the water outlet holes communicate with the water outlet chamber. The water outlet chamber is provided with a flow passage having variable cross-sectional areas for accelerating water that flows through the flow passage having the variable cross-sectional areas, the flow passage having the variable cross-sectional areas is provided with a through hole communicating with the variable chamber, the through hole includes a first opening disposed in the variable chamber and a second opening disposed in the flow passage having the variable cross-sectional areas, and the first opening and the second opening communicate with each other through the water outlet chamber. A piston is disposed in the water outlet device, and the piston is hermetically sealed to an inner wall of the water outlet device to form the variable chamber. A side of the piston facing a fixed end of the variable chamber is connected to a spring. When the volume of the variable chamber decreases, the spring is squeezed by the piston, accumulating an elastic restoring force. When water is turned on, water flows out from the water outlet holes after passing through the flow passage having the variable cross-sectional areas and the water outlet chamber. The water flow is accelerated when passing through the flow passage having the variable cross-sectional areas and a negative pressure is generated. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the piston moves to make the variable chamber smaller, and at the same time, the spring is compressed to accumulate an elastic restoring force; and when the water is shut off, the negative pressure at the flow passage having the variable cross-sectional areas disappears. Under the action of the elastic resetting force of the spring, water in the water outlet chamber is sucked into the variable chamber by the piston, and at the same time, the water shut-off sealing members seal the positions where the water outlet holes communicate with the water outlet chamber.

In the water outlet device described above, although the water in the water outlet chamber can be sucked into the variable chamber, and the water shut-off sealing members seal the positions where the water outlet holes communicate with the water outlet chamber when the water is shut off, thereby preventing the water in the water outlet chamber from flowing out of the water outlet holes, due to the sealing action of the water shut-off sealing members, water already in the water outlet holes still remains in the water outlet holes, there is a possibility of dripping, i.e., water stored in the shower can only be restricted from continuing to flow outward through the water outlet holes, and water that has reached the water outlet holes cannot be prevented from dripping in the form of water droplets, and the water stopping effect is poor. In order to reduce the occurrence of this situation, it is common practice to make the water outlet holes small to stop water by using the surface tension of water, or to dispose the water shut-off sealing members near lower ports of the water outlet holes.

<heading id="h0003">Summary</heading>

For the above problems in the prior art, an objective of one embodiment of the present invention is to provide a shower, and the technical problem to be solved is how to improve the water stopping effect while ensuring normal water outlet.

The objective of the present invention can be achieved by the following technical solutions.

One embodiment of a shower, comprises a water outlet plate provided with a plurality of water outlet holes, a cover plate being fixed above the water outlet plate, and a water outlet cavity being formed between the water outlet plate and the cover plate, a water passage seat being connected to the cover plate, the water passage seat being provided with a water pumping assembly capable of pumping out and storing water in the water outlet cavity when water is shut off, wherein an upper surface of the water outlet plate is provided with a protruding baffle ring around each water outlet hole, an upper end surface of each baffle ring is provided with one or more spaced convex posts upwardly protruding, and upper end surfaces of the convex posts abut against or press close to a lower surface of the cover plate.

After the water outlet plate and the cover plate are arranged in this way, the water passing height of the water outlet cavity is limited to approximately the height of the convex posts, after the convex posts restrict the water passing height, the cover plate can be prevented from being deformed during processing, assembly and use to abut against the baffle rings or a spacing between the cover plate and the baffle rings is too small, which affects the normal water outlet of the shower, and thus, there is no need to reserve more design allowances for the water passing height, and the overall height of the water outlet cavity can be limited to a lower value (i.e., the water outlet cavity is thinner). The water outlet cavity of the shower may be made to have an ultra-thin structure, so that the volume of the water outlet cavity is small to achieve less water storage in the water outlet cavity, and at the same time, after the water outlet cavity is made to have the ultra-thin structure, through a limiting structure formed by the baffle rings and the convex posts, the problem that the cover plate abuts against upper edges of the water outlet holes, causing water to not flow out of the water outlet holes will not be caused, ensuring normal water passage.

According to the shower, when water is turned on, a water flow passes through the water passage seat to enter the water outlet cavity, then passes through water passing gaps between the convex posts, and then flows out of the water outlet holes. When the water is shut off, the water pumping assembly pumps out and stores water in the water passage seat, the water outlet cavity and the water outlet holes, the remaining water in the water outlet cavity is blocked by the baffle rings, which can prevent the water in the water outlet cavity from flowing out through the water outlet holes, and prevent the water from remaining in the water outlet holes and dripping in the form of water droplets, i.e., the water pumping assembly pumps back a portion of the stored water (including the remaining water in each water outlet hole) when the flow of water is stopped, thereby realizing the instantaneous water stop. When water is shut off by using a control valve, there is a large amount of water stored in the water passage seat even in a water inlet joint connected to the water passage seat, during water pumping, the water pumping assembly needs to pump out and store a large amount of water stored in the water passage seat and even in the water inlet joint, and the capacity of the water pumping assembly is limited, the water pumping assembly actually pumps less water stored in the water outlet cavity, and if the water stored in the water outlet cavity is too much, the water in the water outlet holes cannot be pumped back, resulting in the possibility of dripping water. The water outlet cavity of the shower has an ultra-thin structure due to the limiting structure of the convex posts, so that the water storage capacity of the water outlet cavity is small, which can ensure that all the water in the water outlet holes is pumped back, and further ensure that the water remaining in the water outlet cavity does not re-enter the water outlet holes by using the water blocking effect of the baffle rings, improving the water stopping effect. Moreover, the setting of the convex posts can also prevent the water in the water outlet holes from not being pumped back due to a suction generated in the water pumping process of the water pumping assembly after the water is shut off from causing the cover plate to abut against the baffle rings or a spacing between the cover plate and the baffle rings is too small, thereby ensuring normal water outlet and improving the water stopping effect.

Therefore, the water outlet cavity of the shower may be made to have an ultra-thin structure, improving the water stopping effect while ensuring normal water outlet.

In one embodiment of the above shower, each convex post is cylindrical and a diameter of each convex post is equal to a radial thickness of each baffle ring.

In this way, water can flow out through the convex posts more smoothly to ensure normal water outlet, and at the same time, water in the water outlet holes can be smoothly pumped back when water is shut off, reducing the possibility of water retention in the water outlet holes, and improving the water stopping effect. Also, the structural strength of the convex posts can be ensured, so that the presence of the convex posts facilitates the formation of the ultra-thin structure of the water outlet cavity, ensuring normal water outlet and improving the water stopping effect.

In one embodiment of the above shower, an edge of the water outlet plate is provided with an upwardly protruding enclosing wall, the cover plate is flat and an edge of the cover plate abuts against and forms a seal with an upper end surface of the enclosing wall, and the upper end surfaces of the convex posts are flush with or lower than the upper end surface of the enclosing wall.

The enclosing wall has a water blocking function to prevent water from leaking out from the edges of the water outlet plate and the cover plate. When the upper end surfaces of the convex posts are flush with the upper end surface of the enclosing wall, the upper end surfaces of the convex posts abut against the cover plate, so that the convex posts and the cover plate form an abutting support action, the structure of the water outlet cavity between the water outlet plate and the cover plate is stable, and the water outlet cavity has an ultra-thin structure, thereby achieving normal water outlet and the effect of immediately stopping the water when water is shut off. The upper end surfaces of the convex posts are lower than the upper end surface of the enclosing wall, so that the convex posts can press close to the cover plate, which also has the function of limiting the water passing height. The water outlet cavity is made to have the ultra-thin structure, achieving normal water outlet and the effect of immediately stopping the water when water is shut off, and at the same time, an avoidance allowance can be formed between the cover plate and the convex posts, so as to avoid the problem that the cover plate and the enclosing wall cannot be sealed due to the excessive height of the convex posts caused by processing errors or deformation.

In one embodiment of the above shower, the upper surface of the water outlet plate is further provided with a plurality of protruding water retaining rings, upper end surfaces of the water retaining rings are flush with the upper end surface of the enclosing wall, and the lower surface of the cover plate abuts against and forms a seal with the upper end surfaces of the water retaining rings.

The provision of the water retaining rings can reduce the volume of the water outlet cavity and reduce the water storage capacity of the water outlet cavity, thereby improving the water stopping effect. In addition, the water retaining rings also provide support for the cover plate, reducing deformation of the cover plate that affects normal water outlet and the effect of immediately stopping the water when water is shut off, which is conducive to improving the water stopping effect while ensuring normal water outlet.

In one embodiment of the above shower, the water passage seat has a cylindrical shape, a plurality of the water pumping assemblies are provided and are circumferentially fixed to an outer side of the water passage seat, a cup-shaped inverted flow guide is fixed in the water passage seat, and a water passage channel is formed between an outer side of the flow guide and the water passage seat.

When water is turned on, the cup-shaped inverted flow guide is fixed in the water passage seat, so that water will be guided by the cup-shaped outer side of the flow guide when passing through the flow guide, thereby reducing turbulence and turbulent flow of the water flow in the water passage seat, and the water then enters the water outlet cavity, thereby allowing the shower to discharge water normally. The water pumping assemblies pump out and store water in the water passage seat, the water outlet cavity and the water outlet holes when the water is shut off, the provision of the flow guide forms a cylindrical water passage channel in the water passage seat, so that the water flow is dispersed and closer to the water pumping assemblies, and the water pumping assemblies can pump water more quickly, while also occupying a portion of the internal space of the water passage seat, reducing the amount of water stored in the water passage seat, thereby allowing more water stored in the water outlet cavity to be pumped into the water pumping assemblies, so as to ensure that all the water in the water outlet holes is pumped back, improving the water stopping effect.

In one embodiment of the above shower, a partition wall is disposed in the water passage seat and located above a position where the water passage seat communicates with the water pumping assemblies, the partition wall is provided with a plurality of small water passage holes located above and outside the flow guide, an upper end of the flow guide is fixedly connected with the partition wall, and a lower end of the flow guide abuts against the upper surface of the water outlet plate.

According to the shower, when water is turned on, after a water flow is accelerated through the small water passage holes, a negative pressure is generated on the water pumping assemblies, causing the water pumping assemblies to move and store energy; when the water is shut off, the negative pressure disappears, and the stored energy of the water pumping assemblies is released so that the water pumping assemblies pump out and store water in the water passage seat, the water outlet cavity and the water outlet holes to achieve the effect of immediately stopping the water when water is shut off.

When water is turned on, since the small water passage holes are located above and outside the flow guide, and the lower end of the flow guide abuts against the water outlet plate, a water flow flowing out of the small water passage holes is first guided by the cup-shaped outer side of the flow guide and is then diverted more smoothly by the lower end of the flow guide to enter the water outlet cavity, reducing turbulence and turbulent flow of the water flow in a water passing hole and at the connection between the water passing hole and the water outlet cavity after the water flow flows out from the small water passage holes, so that the shower can discharge water normally. At the same time, the lower end of the flow guide abuts against the water outlet plate, so that the flow guide occupies part of the space volume of the water outlet cavity, and the water storage capacity of the water outlet cavity can be reduced. The water storage capacity of the water outlet cavity is reduced in the case where the water pumping amount of the water pumping assemblies remains unchanged, so as to ensure that all the water in the water outlet holes is pumped back, improving the water stopping effect.

In one embodiment of the above shower, an outer side of an upper end of the water passage seat is provided with an abutment shoulder, the upper end of the water passage seat is sleeved with a locking sleeve located above the abutment shoulder, a water inlet joint is inserted into and in threaded connection with the upper end of the water passage seat, an outer side of the water inlet joint is provided with a stop shoulder located above the water passage seat, an upper end of the locking sleeve abuts against the stop shoulder, and an elastic washer is disposed between the locking sleeve and the abutment shoulder.

When the water inlet joint is tightened, the stop shoulder abuts against the upper end of the locking sleeve so that the elastic washer is pressed between the locking sleeve and the abutment shoulder, and an elastic force of the elastic washer acts on the water inlet joint to lock threaded teeth between the water inlet joint and the water passage seat, which has the function of preventing loosening and makes the connection of the water inlet joint to the water passage seat stable. In addition, the provision of the locking sleeve and the elastic washer also reduces the process difficulty of the water passage seat.

In one embodiment of the above shower, the shower further comprises a bottom shell and a top cover, wherein the water outlet plate and the cover plate are fixedly connected in the bottom shell, the outer side of the upper end of the water passage seat is further provided with a positioning shoulder located below the abutment shoulder, the top cover sleeves the outer side of the water passage seat and abuts against the positioning shoulder, and the elastic washer is located above the top cover and abuts against the top cover.

When the water inlet joint is tightened, the elastic washer abuts against the top cover so that the top cover is fixed between the positioning shoulder and the elastic washer. The arrangement of the locking sleeve and the elastic washer not only has an anti-loosening effect on the water inlet joint, making the connection of the water inlet joint to the water passage seat stable, but also can be used to fix the top cover, so that the top cover is convenient to install and stably fixed, and the overall structure of the shower is simple.

In one embodiment of the above shower, the cover plate is also fixedly connected to a plurality of support sleeves located above the cover plate, and the top cover is located above the support sleeves and abuts against upper end surfaces of the support sleeves.

The support sleeves have a supporting effect on the top cover, so that the top cover is stably installed in the shower. In addition, if the upper end surfaces of the support sleeves are not flush with the height of the positioning shoulder, the top cover may be deformed when pressed by the elastic washer. An elastic force generated by the deformation of the top cover may further act on the water inlet joint to lock threaded teeth between the water inlet joint and the water passage seat, thereby making the connection of the water inlet joint to the water passage seat more stable.

In one embodiment of the above shower, the water outlet holes are arranged in a matrix in the water outlet plate, an L-shaped barrier bar is disposed between two adjacent rows of the water outlet holes, a water passing gap is formed between adjacent barrier bars, upper end surfaces of the barrier bars are flush with the upper end surfaces of the convex posts, and one end of a long side of each barrier bar is integrally connected to the enclosing wall.

On one hand, the barrier bars can occupy a certain space of the water outlet cavity to reduce the water storage capacity of the water outlet cavity, thereby improving the water stopping effect; on the other hand, the barrier bars can also have a water blocking and layering effect when the shower is tilted, thereby preventing water leakage due to the concentration of all the water at the lowest point, thereby ensuring the water stopping effect.

Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following advantages:

1. The upper end surfaces of the baffle rings are provided with the convex posts, and the upper end surfaces of the convex posts abut against or press close to the lower surface of the cover plate, and the water outlet cavity forms the ultra-thin structure, and the water stopping effect is improved while ensuring a smooth flow path for normal water outlet.

2. The flow guide is fixed to the water passage seat, which not only has a flow guiding effect, but also can reduce the amount of water stored which may flow out when water is shut off, and make the water pumping assemblies pump water more quickly, improving the water stopping effect.

3. The locking sleeve and the elastic washer are disposed, which not only makes the water inlet joint be stably connected with the water passage seat, but also fixes the top cover, so that the top cover is convenient to install and the connection is stable.
