<heading id="h0001">Technical field</heading>

The invention relates to a brick siding system (cladding building system) comprising horizontally arranged cladding boards that adjoin one another along their horizontal and vertical circumferential surfaces and are mounted on a load-bearing wall using a framework comprising at least vertical profile rails and means for securing them to the load-bearing wall, creating a ventilation gap between the front surface of the load-bearing wall and the back surface of the cladding boards.

<heading id="h0002">Background art</heading>

The application for invention CZ PV 201-868 discloses a cladding building system mounted on a frame connected to a load-bearing wall with a gap between the front surface of the load-bearing wall and the back surface of the cladding system, which serves to create a chimney effect and thus to actively ventilate the building envelope. The frame comprises vertical hanging rails provided with projections for hanging horizontally arranged cladding boards by means of recesses in the back side of these cladding boards, whereby the cladding boards rest on one another with their horizontal and vertical circumferential surfaces. Part of the circumference of the cladding board is provided with projections forming tongues and another part of the circumference of the cladding board is provided with corresponding grooves. The cladding boards, interconnected by tongues and grooves, are suspended without the possibility of mutual movement.

The disadvantage of this solution is that the cladding boards, with their longitudinal grooves, are mounted on the projections of hanging rails, which are about two centimetres wide, which causes the grooves in the cladding boards to break off during installation and resulting in an uneven horizontal joint between the cladding boards arranged next to one another. Another disadvantage is the need for precise assembly of vertical hanging rails, whose projections for accommodating one row of cladding boards must be in one horizontal plane, and in addition, it is relatively complex and time-consuming to mount the cladding boards onto the projections of the hanging rails in order to avoid damaging the grooves in the cladding boards.

The object of the present invention is to eliminate these disadvantages, speed up and simplify the installation of cladding boards and achieve more precise positioning of the cladding board system and more perfect connection of the cladding boards to each other, thus increasing the resistance of the system to extreme weather conditions.

<heading id="h0003">Principle of the invention</heading>

The object of the invention is achieved by a brick siding system (cladding building system) comprising horizontally arranged cladding boards that are mounted on a load-bearing wall by means of a framework comprising at least vertical profile rails. The edges of the vertical profile rail are notched to form pairs of notches, the upper notch of which is bent upwards to form a fastening member, and the lower notch of which is bent downwards to form a support member, wherein, in the gap between the support member and the fastening member, a horizontal V-shaped hanging rail is mounted on the support member, provided with an upwardly directed tooth on the underside, wherein the support member and the fastening member are bent towards each other, thereby securing the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail to the vertical profile rail, wherein the cladding boards are mounted on the teeth of the horizontal hanging V-shaped rails by means of recesses in their back side.

In the optimal embodiment, the horizontal hanging V-shaped rails are arranged with their ends facing each other above the central part of the base of the corresponding vertical profile rail, thereby achieving a precise and secure connection.

If the horizontal hanging V-shaped rails are arranged with their ends facing each other outside the vertical profile rails, straight connectors are used to connect them, which in a preferred embodiment include a flat base that is terminated in the lower part with a connecting tooth and in the upper part is provided with bending lappets. To join the ends, the straight connector is placed against the bottom and back of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rails to be joined and the bending lappets are bent around the rail in its upper part, thereby creating a firm connection of the ends of the V-shaped rails.

If the horizontal hanging V-shaped rails are arranged with their ends facing each other at the corners of a structure, corner connectors are used to join them, which are created from straight connectors by creating vertical recesses facing each other and then bending the rails at the recesses to the required angle, typically 90°.

<heading id="h0005">Examples of embodiment</heading>

The cladding building system comprises horizontally arranged cladding boards 1 adjacent to each other with their horizontal and vertical circumferential surfaces. The cladding boards 1 are mounted on a load-bearing wall 2 by means of a framework, which in the embodiment shown in <figref idref="f0001">Fig. 1</figref> comprises horizontal profile rails 3 and vertical profile rails 4 mounted thereon. The horizontal profile rails 3 serve to strengthen the framework and in some embodiments are not used, unlike the vertical profile rails 4, which are necessary for the solution of the building system according to the present invention.

The vertical profile rail 4 consists of a metal sheet profile, whose cross-section is shown in <figref idref="f0001">Fig. 2</figref>. The central part of vertical profile rail 4 forms a base 40 used for attachment either to the horizontal profile rail 3 or to the load-bearing wall 2. Two side arms 41 extend from the base 40, which together with the base 40 form a "U" shape, the ends of which are connected to the side walls 42 of the profile, which are parallel to the base 40.

The edges of the side arms 41 of the profile are notched to form pairs of notches 43, 44, of which the upper notch 43 is bent upwards and the lower notch 44 downwards, so that a gap is created between them for the insertion of a horizontal V-shaped hanging rail. The lower notch 44 forms, after being bent outwards from the edge surface, a support member 440 of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail, and the upper notch 43 forms a fastening member 430 of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail.

After mounting the vertical profile rails 4 into the framework, the lower part of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail 5 is mounted on the support member 440 of the respective pair of notches. The cross-section of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail 5 consists of a flat fastening part 51 and a hanging part 52 formed by a tooth 520 angled upwards from the fastening part 51, wherein the fastening part 51 rests on the edge of the side wall 42 of the profile of the vertical profile rails 4 and its upper side is located under the upper notch 43, which is subsequently bent downwards, thereby fixing the V-shaped hanging rail 5 from above, wherein from below the V-shaped hanging rail 5 is fixed by bending the lower notch 44 upwards until it rests on the hanging part 52 (tooth 520) of the V-shaped hanging rail 5. In the illustrated embodiment, the ends of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5 are above the central part of the base 40 of the vertical profile rails 4 and connect to each other along the entire length of the wall 2 to be cladded. The cladding boards 1 are mounted/hung on the teeth 520 of the V-shaped hanging rails 5 by their recesses in the back side. The recess in the back side of the cladding boards 1 is formed by an oblique groove of appropriate dimensions, or a dovetail groove, or in another suitable manner.

The horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5 can also be mounted on the vertical profile rails 4 in another known way, for example screwed, but the method described above appears to be the most suitable, especially in terms of easy and quick assembly.

If, for structural reasons, the ends of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5 that are connected to each other are not arranged above the central part of the base 40 of the vertical profile rails 4, but are located in the free space between the vertical profile rails 4, "V" connectors 6 are used to connect them, which at the point of connection surround the teeth 520 from below and the fastening parts 51 of both connected horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5 from behind, wherein at the top they extend with their bending lappets 62 over the fastening parts 51 of both connected horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5. To ensure a firm connection of both connected horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5, the bending lappets 62 are bent around the upper side of the fastening part 51 of both connected horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5.

In the embodiment according to <figref idref="f0002">Figs. 4, 5 and 6</figref>, the "V" connector 6 comprises a flat base 60, which is terminated at the bottom by a connecting tooth 61 for engaging from below with the tooth 520 the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail 5 and at the top, the connector 6 is provided with bending lappets 62, which extend beyond the fastening parts 51 of both of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5 being joined, as shown in <figref idref="f0002">Fig. 5</figref>, and are subsequently bent downwards to securely join them, so that they enclose the upper sides of the fastening parts 51 of both of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5, as shown in <figref idref="f0002">Fig. 5</figref>.

In the illustrated embodiment, the connector 6 comprises three lappets 62, two on the sides and one in the centre. It is obvious to a person skilled in the art that the number of lappets 62 may vary: it could be greater - for example, four or more - or, alternatively, there could be a single lappet 62, extending across the entire width of the connector 6, or at least across a larger part thereof.

The corner connector 7, shown in <figref idref="f0002">Fig. 7</figref> in a straight configuration, is used to join the adjoining ends of the V-shaped hanging rails 5 at the corners of the structure. It differs from the straight connector 6 in that it has vertical recesses 73, 74 facing each other formed in the centre, with the upper recess 73 dividing the central lappet 72 of the connector into two parts 721, and the lower recess 74, facing it, passing through the connecting tooth 71 into the flat base 70 of the connector and dividing the connecting tooth 71 into two parts 711.

To connect the adjoining ends of the hanging rails 5, the corner connector 7 is at the recesses 73, 74 bent to form a right angle - or any other angle that corresponds to the angle of the adjoining walls in the respective corner of the building, and is slid from below onto both the adjoining V-shaped hanging rails 5. Once both parts 711 of the tooth 71 of the corner connector 7 have been seated on the teeth 520 of the horizontal V-shaped hanging rail 5, the lappets 72 and 721 extend beyond the fastening part 51 of both the horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5 being joined from above, as shown in <figref idref="f0003">Fig. 8</figref>, and for their firm connection, they are subsequently bent downwards so that they enclose the upper sides of the fastening parts 51 of both connected horizontal V-shaped hanging rails 5, as shown in <figref idref="f0003">Fig. 9</figref>.
