<heading id="h0002">[<b>Background Art</b>]</heading>
<p id="p0002" num="0002">A non-oriented electrical steel sheet is mainly used in a motor that converts electrical energy to mechanical energy, and an excellent magnetic characteristic of the non-oriented electrical steel sheet is required to achieve high efficiency while the motor converts the electrical energy to the mechanical energy. In particular, recently, as environmentally-friendly vehicles driven by motors instead of internal combustion engines have been gaining attention, the demand for non-oriented electrical steel sheets used as driving motor core materials is increasing, and for this purpose, non-oriented electrical steel sheets with excellent magnetic properties and strength are required. The magnetic properties of non-oriented electrical steel sheets are mainly evaluated by iron<!-- EPO <DP n="2"> --> loss and magnetic flux density. The iron loss means energy loss occurring at a specific magnetic flux density and frequency, and the magnetic flux density means a degree of magnetization obtained in a specific magnetic field. Lower iron loss allows for more energy-efficient motors to be manufactured under the same conditions, and higher magnetic flux density allows for smaller motors or reduced copper loss. Therefore, by using non-oriented electrical steel sheets with low iron loss and high magnetic flux density, a driving motor with excellent efficiency and torque may be manufactured, thereby improving the driving range and output of environmentally-friendly vehicles. Depending on operational conditions of the motor, the characteristics of the non-oriented electrical steel sheet that should be considered is also varied. The general standard for evaluating the characteristics of non-oriented electrical steel sheets used in motors is widely used as W15/50, which is the iron loss when a 1.5T magnetic field is applied at a commercial frequency of 50Hz. However, in the case of non-oriented electrical steel sheets with a thickness of 0.35 mm or less used in environmentally-friendly vehicle driving motors, magnetic properties are often important at low magnetic fields of 1.0 T or less and high frequencies of 400 Hz or higher, so the properties of non-oriented electrical steel sheets are often evaluated using the W10/400 iron loss. In addition, due to the increase in rotation speed, strength characteristics that were not previously considered important are now being evaluated as important characteristics. Therefore, reflecting the recent energy efficiency enhancement policies and the utilization trends of non-oriented electrical steel sheets, the development technology of<!-- EPO <DP n="3"> --> non-oriented electrical steel sheets with low high-frequency core loss, high magnetic flux density, and excellent strength may be considered essential. Among the important magnetic characteristics of the non-oriented electrical steel sheet, a most basic and efficient method for lowering iron loss is to increase the amount of Si, Al, and Mn, which are elements with high resistivity, or to reduce a thickness of the steel sheet. Increasing the amount of Si, Al, and Mn added increases the resistivity of the steel, which reduces the eddy current loss among the iron losses of non-oriented electrical steel sheets, thereby reducing the iron loss, and in the case of high-frequency iron loss, the ratio of eddy current loss among the iron losses is greater, so it may be a very effective method for reducing high-frequency iron loss. However, the effect varies depending on the additive ratio, and since the magnetic flux density deteriorates as the amount of alloying elements added increases, the appropriate additive ratio and the additive ratio between the Si, Al, and Mn additions must be appropriately controlled to secure excellent iron loss and magnetic flux density. The method of making the thickness thin is also a method that greatly reduces eddy current loss, and is very effective in reducing iron loss, but thin steel sheets have the disadvantage of poor productivity and workability. As a method to improve the magnetic flux density while lowering the iron loss of the non-oriented electrical steel sheet, technologies for improving magnetic properties by improving texture by using special additive elements such as REM or for introducing additional manufacturing processes such as warm rolling, rolling twice, and annealing twice have been reported.<!-- EPO <DP n="4"> --> However, all of these technologies cause an increase in manufacturing cost or have difficulties in mass production, so it is necessary to develop a technology that produces excellent magnetic properties and is easy to produce commercially. In addition, technologies for suppressing and controlling formation of inclusions by significantly suppressing an amount of impurities added and adding and element such as Ca are being developed, but these technologies also cause an increase in manufacturing cost, and it is difficult to clearly secure effects thereof. The strength of the steel sheet tends to increase as the alloy content increases. However, since Si, Al, and the like are brittle elements and have different effects on strength, the content and ratio of the components must be optimized in order to secure high strength characteristics. On the other hand, the finer the grain size, the better the strength, but there is an optimal grain size that minimizes iron loss, so in order to secure both low iron loss and high strength characteristics, a technology to appropriately control the grain size is also necessary.</p>

<p id="p0075" num="0075">Hereinafter, respective steps will be specifically described.</p>
<p id="p0076" num="0076">First, the slab is hot-rolled.</p>

<p id="p0080" num="0080">The slab may be heated before hot-rolling. The heating temperature of the slab is not limited, but the slab may be heated at 1,200 °C or less. When the slab heating temperature is too high, precipitates such as AlN and MnS present in the slab are re-dissolved and then finely precipitated during hot-rolling and annealing, thereby inhibiting grain growth and reducing magnetism.</p>
<p id="p0081" num="0081">Next, the slab is hot-rolled to manufacture the hot-rolled sheet.</p>
<p id="p0082" num="0082">In the embodiment of the present invention, it has been found that in order to improve the texture, it is necessary to precisely control the conditions from the hot rolling step. Specifically, it was found that it was necessary to control the reduction ratio and temperature of each pass in finish rolling.</p>
<p id="p0083" num="0083">In the embodiment of the present invention, the step of manufacturing the hot-rolled steel sheet includes a rough rolling step and a finish rolling step. The rough rolling step is the process of first rolling the slab moved from the casting machine into bar shape, and consists of 3 to 4 rolling mills. The finish rolling step is a process of rolling the rough-rolled steel sheet to the final hot-rolled target thickness to make a hot-rolled coil, and consists of a continuous multi-stage rolling mill.</p>
<p id="p0084" num="0084">The finish rolling step is performed through n passes, where n is 3 or more.</p>
<p id="p0085" num="0085">With respect to the reduction ratio (Rj) of an intermediate pass that is not the first or last pass, the largest absolute value of the difference between the<!-- EPO <DP n="24"> --> average reduction ratio (RAVE) of all passes of the finish rolling and the reduction ratio of the intermediate pass is 40% or less.</p>
<p id="p0086" num="0086">The average (R<sub>AVE</sub>) of the reduction ratios of all passes of the finish rolling may be expressed by the following formula. <maths id="math0004" num=""><math display="block"><mfrac><mstyle displaystyle="true"><munderover><mo>∑</mo><mrow><mi>i</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow><mi>n</mi></munderover><msub><mi>R</mi><mi>i</mi></msub></mstyle><mi>n</mi></mfrac></math><img id="ib0004" file="imgb0004.tif" wi="11" he="20" img-content="math" img-format="tif"/></maths></p>
<p id="p0087" num="0087">Wherein, Ri represents the reduction ratio of the i-th pass.</p>
<p id="p0088" num="0088">That is, the average (RAVE) of the reduction ratios of all passes of the finish rolling may be expressed as (R1+R2+......+Rn)/n.</p>
<p id="p0089" num="0089">Meanwhile, Rj means the reduction ratio (Rj) of the intermediate pass, not the first pass (R1) or the last pass (Rn). The absolute value of the difference between the average (RAVE) of the reduction ratios of all passes of the finish rolling and the reduction ratio of the intermediate pass may be expressed as |(RAVE-Rj)|, and the largest value of these may be 40% or less. That is, it may be expressed as Max|(RAVE-Rj)| ≤ 40.0%.</p>
<p id="p0090" num="0090">This means that the deviation between the pass reduction ratios in the finish rolling is not large. If the above value is too large, a large number of coarse or fine grains are generated, ultimately resulting in poor magnetism and yield strength. More specifically, the largest absolute value of the difference between the average (RAVE) of the reduction ratios of all passes of the finish rolling and the reduction ratio of the intermediate pass may be 20.0 to 39.5%.</p>
<p id="p0091" num="0091">In addition, the finish rolling step may have a difference (FET-FDT) between the finish rolling entry temperature (FET) and the rolling exit<!-- EPO <DP n="25"> --> temperature (FDT) of 150°C or less. If this temperature difference is excessively large, non-uniformity may increase in the microstructure itself after rolling, which may result in uneven microstructure in the final product. More specifically, the difference (FET-FDT) between the finish rolling entry temperature (FET) and the finish rolling exit temperature (FDT) may be 50 to 148°C. The finish rolling entry temperature may be based on the steel sheet temperature immediately before entering the finish rolling mill, and the finish rolling exit temperature may be based on the steel sheet temperature immediately after exiting the finish rolling mill.</p>
<p id="p0092" num="0092">In the embodiment of the present invention, the finish rolling may be 3 to 7 passes (that is, n is 3 to 7). If the number of passes is too small, the rolling load may be too large, making the work difficult. If the number of passes is too large, productivity may be reduced.</p>
<p id="p0093" num="0093">A thickness of the hot-rolled sheet may be 1.0 to 4.5 mm. In the manufacturing of the hot-rolled sheet, a finish rolling temperature may be 800 °C or higher. Specifically, it may be 800 to 1,000 °C. The hot-rolled sheet may be wound at temperatures of 700 °C or less. More specifically, the thickness of the hot-rolled sheet may be 1.5 to 4.3 mm.</p>
<p id="p0094" num="0094">After manufacturing the hot-rolled steel sheet, a step of annealing the hot-rolled sheet may be further included. In this case, the soaking temperature may be 850 to 1100°C. If the annealing temperature is too low, the recrystallized structure is not formed or grows finely, so the effect of increasing the magnetic flux density is small, while if the annealing temperature is too high,<!-- EPO <DP n="26"> --> the magnetic properties may deteriorate, and the rolling workability may deteriorate due to deformation of the sheet shape. More specifically, the temperature range may be 830 to 1080°C. The soaking time may be 10 to 300 seconds. The hot-rolled sheet annealing step may also be omitted.</p>
<p id="p0095" num="0095">Next, the hot-rolled steel sheet is cold-rolled to manufacture a cold-rolled sheet. In this case, cold rolling may be performed at a reduction ratio of 40 to 95%. If the reduction ratio is too low, the strain energy accumulated in the rolled steel sheet is small, making it difficult to recrystallize in the subsequent annealing process, so the the rolled structure remains, which may cause problems in improving the magnetic flux density and iron loss. Conversely, if the reduction ratio is too high, the recrystallization of &lt;111&gt;//ND orientation grains may be promoted during the subsequent annealing process, and the grains may become finer, resulting in a lower magnetic flux density and an increase in iron loss. More specifically, the reduction ratio may be 60 to 85%. The cold rolling step may be performed using a tandem cold rolling mill that continuously cold rolls the steel sheet using a plurality of rolling stands, or a reverse rolling mill that discontinuously cold rolls the steel sheet using 12 or more rolling rolls. The final rolled thickness may be from 0.1 mm to 0.35 mm.</p>
<p id="p0096" num="0096">The step of manufacturing the cold-rolled sheet may be performed once or twice or more with intermediate annealing therebetween.</p>
<p id="p0097" num="0097">Next, the cold-rolled sheet is annealed in the cold-rolled sheet annealing step. In the process of annealing the cold-rolled sheet, the annealing temperature is not largely limited as long as it is a temperature that is generally<!-- EPO <DP n="27"> --> applied to the non-oriented electrical steel sheet. The iron loss of the non-oriented electrical steel sheet is closely related to the grain size. The iron loss of the non-oriented electrical steel sheet may be divided into hysteresis loss and eddy current loss, and in this case, the hysteresis loss decreases as the grain size increases, while the eddy current loss increases as the grain size increases, and accordingly, there is an appropriate grain size that minimizes a sum of the hysteresis loss and the eddy current loss. Accordingly, it is important to derive and apply an annealing temperature that may secure an optimal grain size, and the annealing temperature is suitable when it is 850 to 1100 °C. When the annealing temperature is too low, the hysteresis loss increases because the grains are too fine, and when the annealing temperature is too high, the grains are too coarse and thus the eddy current loss increases, so that the iron loss is deteriorated. In addition, the annealing time is also appropriate if it is 10 to 300 seconds, and the annealing may be performed in a mixed atmosphere of hydrogen or argon and nitrogen to prevent magnetic deterioration due to the formation of an oxide layer.</p>
<p id="p0098" num="0098">In the cold-rolled sheet annealing process, the processed texture formed in the cold-rolling step may be entirely (that is, 99 % or more) recrystallized.</p>
<p id="p0099" num="0099">After the cold-rolled sheet annealing, an insulating film may be formed. The insulating film may be formed as an organic, inorganic, and organic/inorganic composite film, and it may be formed with other insulating coating materials.</p>
<p id="p0100" num="0100">Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail<!-- EPO <DP n="28"> --> through examples. However, the examples are only for illustrating the present invention, and the present invention is not limited thereto.</p>
<heading id="h0032">Example 1</heading>
<p id="p0101" num="0101">A slab was manufactured with components containing the following Table 1 and the balance Fe and other inevitable impurities. This was heated to 1180°C and hot-rolled under the conditions listed in Table 2 below, hot-rolled to a thickness of 2.1 mm, and then coiled at 700°C. The hot-rolled steel sheet was annealed at 1000°C for 60 seconds. After hot-rolled sheet annealing, the pickled specimens were cold-rolled to a thickness of 0.2 mm, and finally cold-rolled sheet annealing was performed. In this case, the cold-rolled sheet annealing was performed at 1000°C for 50 seconds.</p>
<p id="p0102" num="0102">The grain size was analyzed using an optical microscope and an image analyzer after cutting the steel sheet along the TD plane to obtain a specimen.</p>
<p id="p0103" num="0103">The resistivity at 25°C was measured using the 4-point method.</p>
<p id="p0104" num="0104">The yield strength was measured using the 0.2% off-set method during a tensile test.</p>
<p id="p0105" num="0105">Iron loss (W10/400) and magnetic flux density (B50) were measured using a single sheet tester.
