(57) An aqueous solution of detergent compositions comprising one or more surface active
agents, and a water soluble inorganic salt, organic salt or polymeric compound, with
an interfacial tension to a triglyceride phase of not more than 0.5 mN.m
-1 and/or a penetrating speed in a triglyceride phase of not less than 5 x 10-
9 m.sec
-1 has an outstanding cleansing power and is particularly suitable for use for washing
tableware without recourse to manual labor or mechanical force.
