    (57) A mobile road or rail tanker 10. The tanker 10 is formed of sheet aluminium which forms an outer shell 11. The shell 11 encloses a chamber 13 which is divided by a transverse wall 12. The wall 12 adjacent the shell 11 consists of an annealed heat treatable weldable aluminium alloy which is relatively soft and ductile so that weld material adjacent the wall 12 is stronger than the remainder of the wall 12.
