[Field of the Invention]
[0001] This invention relates to a manicure guard which protects manicure upon application
to a nail so as to prevent the manicure from being damaged while it is wet.
[Prior Art]
[0002] It takes a certain period of time to dry liquid manicure when it is applied to a
nail. Nothing can thus be done except holding still until the manicure dries or exposing
the fingers to the wind from a drier.
[Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
[0003] At any rate, manicure once applied to someone's nail prevents him or her from using
his or her finger tips freely until the manicure dries up, and thus restricts his
or her action.
[Means for Solving the Problems]
[0004] The invention provides a manicure guard in cylindrical shape which is wider enough
in diameter than that of a finger tip, the manicure guard being fitted onto the finger
tip and nail immediately after application of manicure and secured to the bulb of
the finger by means of an adhesive tape.
[Action]
[0005] Due to the protection thereof by the cylindrical object, wet manicure right after
being applied to a nail is not subjected to any damages caused when something hits
the nail.
[Example]
[0006] Referring to the drawings, Fig. 1 shows the inventive manicure guard which is comprises
a cylindrical body 1 a part of inner side of which is provided with an adhesive tape
2.
[0007] As shown in Fig. 2, the surface of the adhesive tape 2 is covered with a protective
tape 3.
[0008] It is clear from Fig. 3 that upon application of the inventive cylindrical body 1,
it is secured to the bulb of a finger by the adhesive tape 2 after peeling off the
protective tape 3 therefrom.
[0009] As shown in Fig. 4, the cylindrical body 1 may have a flat portion on which the bulb
of a finger abuts.
[0010] Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 5, the cylindrical body 1 may be in semicylindrical
so as to widen the space above a nail.
[0011] Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 6, the cylindrical body 1 may have a front opening
slanted with respect to the rear opening or may be in conical shape.
[0012] As shown in Fig. 7, in order to remove the cylindrical body 1 from the finger tip
easily, it may be provided with a slit 4 extending longitudinally so as to be opened
transversely therefrom and then peeled off from the finger tip.
[0013] Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 7, the cylindrical body 1 may be provided with a plurality
of venting holes 5 in order to facilitate the drying of manicure.
[Effects of the Invention]
[0014] The inventive manicure guard is constructed as described above and thus has the following
advantages.
[0015] Due to the protection of manicure applied to a nail by the inventive manicure guard,
the manicure is prevented from being damaged while it is wet. Therefore, the inventive
manicure guard can ensure the user thereof to act freely without worrying the manicure
to be damaged.
