(54) Frame for decorations of streets, poles, squares and shops

(57) It is a frame made of aluminium or iron in which are placed decorative patterns-garlands or suspended lighting used for decorating outdoor spaces and exteriors or interiors of buildings or shops. It can be used single or in combination of two or more held together with screws or hinges according to the width or height desired.

Description

[0001] The invention refers to the manufacture of metal aluminium or iron frames in which are placed the decorations-garlands or suspended lights used for decorating outdoor spaces and exteriors or interiors of buildings or shops. (Decoration of streets, poles and fronts of buildings or interiors of buildings).

[0002] To date, light decorations were positioned onto the wire rope by tying some small light patterns onto it and supplementing them with other lights also tied onto the rope wire. The negative thing about this process is that the pattern is easily destroyed since the suspended supplements are subject to bad weather conditions, and they are also difficult to store since they require special packaging skills to remove them and put them away. In short, the lights are destroyed in time.

[0003] On the contrary, using the metal frame we can achieve:

a- Simple and quick putting up of the lights, always straight, with no unwanted curves.

b- Easy storage of the lights without destroying the pattern.

c- Lightweight garlands made completely out of aluminium or other metal, easy to transport and put up.

d- Long life of the pattern, since it is protected from bad weather conditions

[0004] The frame can be used either as is, to frame the decorative pattern inside or it can be coated in transparent or coloured plastic and two or more frames can be combined to achieve the desired length or height, either screwed together or using hinges to fold and unfold.

[0005] The frame can be used on its own hanging on a wall or it can be suspended from poles by means of rope wire.

[0006] A practical application can be seen in reference to the drawings attached:

Fig. 1 shows a frame suspended between two poles.

Fig. 2 shows a frame with nylon coating.

Fig. 3 shows in detail A the way of attaching the wire rope onto the pole.

Fig. 4 shows the wire rope tensor.

Fig. 5 shows how the wire rope is tightened on the vice.

Fig. 6 shows two frames in unison.

Fig. 7 shows a frame positioned vertically onto a pole.

[0007] In reference to the drawings, the frame consists of the main body -1- which is a frame made of aluminium or other suitable metal, onto which are placed the lighting elements of the garland -2-. The frame is attached by means of latches or rings -4- onto a rope wire -3- which is tightened by means of a vice -9- and tensor -8- and is attached to the pole with special nails -7-.

[0008] The frame can be coated in transparent or coloured plastic -6- according to purpose. We can combine using hinges -10- as many frames as desired according to the desired length.

[0009] We can also attach the frames directly onto the poles using nails -11-.

Claims

1. A metal frame -1- made of aluminium or iron onto which are placed the lighting elements of the garland -2-. The frame is attached by means of latches or rings -4- onto a rope wire -3- which is tightened with the help of a vice -9- and tensor -8- and is then attached onto a pole with special nails -7-. The frame can be coated in transparent or coloured plastic -6- according to purpose. We can combine using hinges -10- as many frames as desired according to the desired length. We can also attach the frames directly onto the poles using nails -11-.
