[0001] This invention refers to a socket of type E4 for lamps for external and internal
decoration in lights of different shapes (stars, bells, prismatic ball).
[0002] There are plenty sockets. Mine is a special type that has great advantage against
the others in the following points.
[0003] In sockets metallic part of lamp touched the reception resulting to danger for the
one who was using it. In my invention this risk never comes up, because not only socket
is covered parametrically by a special small flange but also it is in safety distance
from the external wall of socket. This is necessary according to manufacturing standards,
in that metallic part must have a distance from socket.
[0004] The cable is put in socket simply by screwing the cover. The small nails of socket
come through cable resulting to direct connection and contact of socket to cable.
[0005] The cover has such an internal structure that by screwing it locks with its two vanes
of the body of socket in peripheral receptions of the below part of cover.
[0006] As a result cover after its screwing cannot be removed (it is massive), fact which
is required by the standards.
[0007] To this result contributes the presence of two internal vanes in the upper part of
cover, which is one-way and cannot be removed.
[0008] The brass contacts (nails) are placed sidelong (diatonically), because in this way
they have 100/100 contact with the cable pipes.
[0009] In this invention a socket is presented that in its internal part a special small
flange is placed. Thus, with the instalment of lamp in socket water tightness is provided
even without the placement of polycarbonate covers (lamp - star and prismatic ball).
[0010] An application is presented in the attached figures:
In Figure 1 an assembled socket with lamp is noted.
In Figure 2 we see the frontage of socket.
In Figure 3 the frontage of cover is noted.
In Figure 4 we see the top view of cover.
In Figure 5 the upper view of cover is presented.
In Figure 6 the upper view of socket is noted.
In Figure 7 we see the other side of socket.
In Figure 8 the frontage of special small flange is presented.
In Figure 9 the below part of special small flange is noted.
[0011] According to figures socket (1) is comprised of main body (4) with its spiral (4a),
3 rings (7), (8), (9), the upper screw part (6) of cover (10), metallic brass contacts
(nails) (5).
[0012] The cover has spiral internally (12) and peripheral forms (11) for its screwing in
its vanes (13). The cover has two internally vanes (14). Finally in socket a special
small flange (15) is placed with internal format (16).
[0013] After its connection with cable (2) the socket attached the contacts (5) and provides
the lamp (3) with electricity.
