(57) The present invention provides a medal-operated gaming machine characterized by comprising
a data writing/reading means for executing the writing of at least one kind of initial
data of the game and history data of the game into a medal with a built-in IC chip,
and the reading of at least one kind of initial data of the game and history data
of the game from the bullt-in-IC-chip medal. According to the above means, the gaming
machine gives doubled amusement by having an unprecedented excitement in addition
