(57) A mold for pressing ceramic tiles, intended to cope with the waste of time and higher
costs that occur when the mold is to be replaced in the press in order to produce
tiles having a format and/or contour that is different from the one for which it was
built, wherein each mold part is divided into two components: the framework (1, 16)
for coupling to the press and the active element (2), which can be interchanged in
the framework without disassembling the mold, which is provided with at least one
impression divided by means of an interchangeable diaphragm (9, 10) or an integrated
diaphragm (10a) or is otherwise surrounded also by strips (4, 30, 31); the mold is
used in the ceramic industry to produce tiles, particularly tiles having variable
formats and/or contours.
