SUCTION DEVICE FOR COLLECTING WASTE FROM DOMESTIC PETS

Abstract

 Suction device for collecting waste from domestic pets, which can be used or controlled directly by the user, comprising a collection funnel (2), a suction mechanism (3) and a receiving container (4), which can be separated from the device and replaced with another as desired by the user. According to the invention, the funnel (2) channels the flow of air drawn by the suction mechanism (3), simultaneously absorbing and dragging waste (7) located inside the working radius of the drawn airflow. The waste (7) that has been absorbed and dragged by the suctioned air is then introduced into the container (4).

Description

Object of the invention

[0001] This invention relates to a suction device appropriate for collecting waste from domestic pets, which permits the user to pick up pet's droppings simply, effectively and quickly, without a direct touch with those excrements.

Background of the invention

[0002] This invention is the result of the need expressed by pet owners to collect their waste without having to touch the collected animal faeces.

[0003] Usually people who have pets (dogs or cats, for example) must collect the waste from those animals in their daily walks around public places.

[0004] Such behaviour is typical of the necessary public-spiritedness required to those people who have pets and take them to walk around.

[0005] Nevertheless, this task of collecting and subsequent removal of the waste and excrements caused by pets is clearly unpleasant and nasty and it represents for pet owners a risk to get dirty when they do it and it also requires, besides its collection, the appropriate removal or disposal.

[0006] The object of this invention is to provide a device to solve all these problems. It must collect pet's droppings in a simple and pleasant way for the user.

Summary of the invention

[0007] This suction device for pet waste that can be used or controlled directly by the user is characterized by a collection funnel, a suction mechanism and a receiving container, all this in such a way that the funnel channels the flow of air suctioned by the suction mechanism, simultaneously absorbing and sweeping waste found in the area of suctioned air. This absorbed and dragged waste will then be introduced in the receiving container.

[0008] The suction device for pet waste is also characterized by a receiving container which can be separated from the unit and replaced by a new one according to user's needs.

Detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the invention

[0011] According to the object of the present invention, the suction device for pet waste has been designed to provide the user a simple and pleasant way to pick up pet's droppings without a direct touch with those excrements.

[0012] As it can be seen in figure 1, the suction device (1) for pet's droppings comprises a collecting funnel (2), a suction mechanism (3) and a receiving container (4).

[0013] In this preferred embodiment, suction mechanism (3) is formed by as system of propellers (5) operated by an engine (6).

[0014] The propellers (5) are placed after the collecting funnel (2), in the direction of the absorbed airflow, represented by the arrows in figure 1.

[0015] The propellers (5) rotation around themselves, activated by the engine (6), causes the air absorption in the direction pointed by the arrows.

[0016] The absorbed air sweeps and carries the waste (7) in that area and introduces it in the collecting funnel (2).

[0017] After passing through the funnel (2), the air is channelled towards the receiving container (4), and the waste (7) is carried and swept by the air inside the container (4) .

[0018] Once the container (4) is completely full, it is unscrewed and separated of the device (1) and it is replaced by an empty container which will be screwed by the user.

[0019] The shown invention may have the embodiment and respective components for those functions. The components will be the ones described or any other similar components with the same purpose.

[0020] The invention, although it is really essential, can be carried out in other embodiments that will be practically similar to the exemplary one, and which will also be under protection. Thus, this invention can be realized with the most appropriate means, components and elements, and these components may also be replaced by other technically equivalent ones, which shall also be included in the claims.

Claims

1. Suction device for collecting waste from domestic pets, which can be used or controlled directly by the user, characterised in that it comprises a collection funnel (2), a suction mechanism (3) and a receiving container (4), in such a way that the funnel (2) channels the flow of air drawn by the suction mechanism (3), simultaneously absorbing and dragging waste (7) located inside the working radius of the suctioned air. The waste (7) that has been absorbed and dragged by the suctioned air is then introduced into the container (4).

2. Suction device of pet's droppings according to claim one, characterized by a receiving container (4), that can be separated of the device(1) and replaced with another as desired by the user.
