(57) A refrigerator (10) includes a cabinet (24), a door (12) mounted to the cabinet (24) for pivotal movement about a pivot axis, and a control panel (14) carried by the door (12). A plurality of wires is in electrical communication with the control panel (14). The plurality of wires passing through the door (12) and exits a lower portion of the door (12). A hinge bracket (22,23) is carried by the cabinet (24) and supports the door (12) at a hinge pin. The plurality of wires passes immediately below the hinge bracket (22,23).
