Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a pack preferably intended to contain a foodstuff, especially a pasty foodstuff, such as a stock cube or the like, in particular in the form of a pressed stock cube.

[0002] The present invention also relates to a process for obtaining a pack preferably intended to contain a foodstuff, especially a pasty foodstuff, such as a stock cube or the like, in particular in the form of a pressed stock cube.

Background Art

[0003] There are prior art packs designed to contain a pasty product and comprising a wrapper for containing the product, in particular made of a plastic material, such as polypropylene or the like, which forms a plurality of product wrapping walls. For example: WO 2004/052753 A1, EP 0057 644 A2, CH 594 528 A5.

[0004] In the prior art packs, in which a wrapper made of polypropylene or the like is used, the latter is uniformly closed, by means of heat sealing and forms a hermetically sealed wrapper, advantageously for the preservation and sanitariness of the foodstuff contained.

[0005] The prior art packs also have means for tearing and opening the wrapper.

[0006] However, in these prior art packs there is a problem at the moment of opening the pack, which is normally done in a way that is not advantageous. According to the methods for opening prior art packs, a risk to the sanitariness of the product contained is produced, since the user's fingers normally make contact with the product contained, with the additional disadvantage of the product dirtying the user's hands and making them smell.

[0007] Moreover, according to another disadvantageous aspect of the methods for opening prior art packs, after tearing, a wrapper is obtained which consists of two parts which are completely detached from one another and risk falling into the food to which the stock cube will be added, that is to say, they risk not being easily disposed of by the user, there being the risk that at least part may fall outside collection containment.

Disclosure of the Invention

[0008] It is provided a pack having the features defined in claim 1.

[0009] In this way, it is possible to obtain a pack which provides maximum sanitariness for the product contained and is very practical to use.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments of the Invention

[0011] Figure 1 illustrates a first preferred embodiment 10 of a pack in accordance with the present invention.

[0012] The pack 10 is intended to contain a pasty foodstuff, labelled 11 in the accompanying drawings, consisting of a stock cube, in particular a stock cube in the pressed packaging condition, that is to say, compacted so that it is able to maintain the shape given to it during the successive packaging steps.

[0013] As illustrated in Figure 2C, the stock cube 11 is preferably in the form of a cube-shaped body, having a plurality of faces, labelled 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, 11e, and 11f in the drawings.

[0014] As illustrated in Figure 1, the pack 10 comprises a wrapper 12 for wrapping the product 11, made from a sheet 13, illustrated in Figure 2B, preferably obtained from a plastic film 15, in particular made of polypropylene or a similar material, illustrated in Figure 2A.

[0015] Once folded, the wrapper 12 forms a plurality of product 11 containment walls, comprising, in the conventional way, a front wall 14, a rear wall 16 and a pair of opposite side walls 18 and 20, as well as an upper wall 22 and a lower wall 24, positioned at and in contact with respective faces of the cube-shaped product 11.

[0016] The pack comprises means 26 for tearing and opening the wrapping sheet 12, shown with a dashed line in Figure 1 and having the form of a strip or tape of plastic material which can be sealed on the plastic film of the wrapper.

[0017] Advantageously, the tearing means 26 are suitable for producing a cut 27 in the wrapper 12, as illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, and, in particular, they are designed to tear the wrapper 12 at a zone of the wrapper which is off-centre, between opposite end walls, in particular between the upper wall 22 and the lower wall 24, remaining closer to one end wall, in particular to the upper wall 22.

[0018] In this way, it is possible to leave, between the tearing zone 27 and the lower opposite wall 24, a greater space available for the user's fingers to grip, as illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, so that, when pouring the stock cube into the food, it is possible to avoid any contact between the fingers and the product 11. This is advantageous in terms of practical use of the pack and product 11 sanitariness. Obviously, it would also be possible to imagine the user consuming the product 11 directly. In that case safeguarding product sanitariness would be even more welcome.

[0019] According to the invention, the tearing means 26 are designed to tear the wrapper 12 close to the corresponding wall 22 of the pack and according to another viewpoint, even more advantageous, it would also be possible to imagine that the tearing means 26 were designed to tear the wrapper 12 at the edge which separates the wall 22 from the adjacent walls 14, 18, 20 of the pack. In this way a space which is as large as possible can be obtained, available to the user's fingers for more a convenient grip of the stock cube.

[0020] According to a preferred size, the sides of the stock cube are less than 1.5 cm long. In cases of this type, for easy use of the present product with guaranteed sanitariness, the present pack configuration is particularly advantageous.

[0021] As illustrated in particular in Figure 4, in the open condition, the wrapper 12 comprises a first part 12a and a second part 12b, held together by corresponding connecting means.

[0022] This makes it possible to avoid producing separate pieces, which make disposal of the wrapper 12 difficult once it has been emptied of the product contained 11, and also avoids the risk that the individual parts of this wrapper 12 may become detached and contaminate the food being prepared, that is to say, escape disposal in the proper way, once the wrapper has been emptied of the product contained.

The pack preferably being intended to contain a foodstuff which is pasty, such as a stock cube and the like, in particular a pressed stock cube. The process involves preparing, or obtaining, a sheet 13 for wrapping the product 11 and associating means 26 for tearing and opening the wrapper 12 with said sheet 13.

[0040] As illustrated, according to the present process the sheet 13 is obtained from a film web 15 unwound from a reel 17 and in the form of a film of plastic material, preferably polypropylene or the like.

Claims

1. A pack (10), containing a pasty foodstuff in the form of a stock cube and the like and preferably in the form of a pressed stock cube; the pack comprising a wrapper (12) for wrapping the product (11), obtained from a plastic film and having a plurality of containment walls, in which there are means (26) for tearing and opening the wrapper (12); the wrapper (12) forming a plurality of product (11) containment walls, comprising a front wall (14), a rear wall (16), a pair of opposite side walls (18, 20), an upper wall (22) and a lower wall (24), positioned at and in contact with respective faces of the cube-shaped product (11); the pack being characterised in that the means (26) for tearing and opening the wrapper (12) are in the form of a linear tape (26)
which is designed to tear the wrapper (12) at a zone located between opposite end upper and lower walls (22, 24) of the wrapper, and which remains closer to the upper wall (22) of the pack, providing
a wrapper (12) that, in the open condition, comprises a first main part (12a) and a second smaller part (12b), at the upper wall (22) of the pack, and which is supported and held by the main part (12a) by corresponding connecting means comprising the entire rear wall (16) of the wrapper and a part of the side walls (18, 20) extending from the rear wall (16), so that leaving a greater space available for the user's fingers to grip when pouring the stock cube.

2. The pack according to claim 1, characterised in that the means (26) for tearing and opening the wrapper (12) are designed to tear the wrapper (12) along its perimeter, forming a torn stretch (27a) extending completely over a corresponding front wall (14) of the wrapper (12).

3. The pack according to claim 2, characterised in that the means (26) for tearing and opening the wrapper (12) are designed to tear the wrapper (12) along its perimeter, forming a torn stretch (27b) further extending at least partly over an adjacent wall (18) of the wrapper.

4. The pack according to claim 3, characterised in that the means (26) for tearing and opening the wrapper (12) are designed to tear the wrapper (12) along its perimeter, forming a torn stretch (27c) further extending at least partly over an adjacent wall (20) of the wrapper, on the side opposite that of the first adjacent extension stretch (27b).

5. The pack according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that there is a torn stretch (27b, 27c), extending partly over a wall of the wrapper, extending over more than half the corresponding wall (18, 20).

6. The pack according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the respective wall comprises at least a first and a second layer which at least partly overlap one another; the tearing means (26) being at the upper or outer layer of these overlapping layers.

7. The pack according to claim 1, characterised in that there are means for gripping and pulling the tearing means, in the form of a tab (30), formed by the wrapper (12), where one end (26a) of the tear tape extends.

8. The pack according to claim 7, characterised in that the tear tab (30) extends from an edge (18'), at a corresponding side wall (18) and remains above the end (26a) of the tear tape.

9. The pack according to claim 8, characterised in that the tab extends from a folded edge (18') lying inside the wall (18).

10. The pack according to claim 7, characterised in that the tab extends from a folded edge (18'), which is substantially orthogonal to the wall (22), and which extends from an oblique folded edge (18"), lying inside the wall 18.

11. The pack according to claim 7, characterised in that the tear tape (26) has a stretch (26'), at the front wall (14) and corresponding stretches (26b, 26c) at the side walls (18, 20).

12. The pack according to claim 7, characterised in that the tab (30) is delimited by a projecting curved edge (30a), on the extension of which there are notches (34, 36) in the corresponding flap of the wrapper (12).

13. The pack according to claim 12, characterised in that said notches (34, 36) form means for directing wrapper (12) tearing, at the grip tab (30).

14. The pack according to claim 1, characterised in that of comprising a tear tape end grip tab (26a) in the form of a tab (130) recessed in the corresponding edge (118'e) which is obtained thanks to notches (134, 136) extending parallel with the side edges of the tear tape (26), and extending parallel with the upper and lower edges of the side wall (18).

15. The pack according to claim 1, characterised in that the sides of the stock cube are less than 1.5 cm long.

Ansprüche

1. Verpackung (10), beinhaltend ein pastöses Lebensmittel in Form eines Brühwürfels und Ähnliches vorzugsweise in Form eines gepressten Brühwürfels, wobei die Verpackung eine Umhüllung (12) zum Umhüllen des Produkts (11) umfasst, die aus einer Kunststofffolie besteht und eine Vielzahl von Begrenzungswänden aufweist, in der sich Mittel (26) zum Reißen und Öffnen der Umhüllung (12) befinden, wobei die Umhüllung (12) eine Vielzahl von Begrenzungswänden des Produkts (11) bildet, umfassend eine vordere Wand (14), eine hintere Wand (16), ein Paar gegenüberliegender seitlicher Wände (18, 20), eine obere Wand und eine untere Wand (24), die an und in Kontakt mit jeweiligen Flächen des würfelförmigen Produkts (11) positioniert sind, wobei die Verpackung dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Mittel (26) zum Reißen und Öffnen der Umhüllung (12) in Form eines geradlinigen Bands (26) vorliegen, das zum Reißen der Umhüllung (12) an einem Bereich, der zwischen gegenüberliegenden Enden von oberen und unteren Wänden (22, 24) der Umhüllung liegt, gestaltet ist, das näher an der oberen Wand (22) der Verpackung bleibt und eine Umhüllung (12) bereitstellt, die im geöffneten Zustand einen ersten Hauptteil (12a) und einen zweiten kleineren Teil (12b) umfasst, der an der oberen Wand (22) der Verpackung liegt und durch den Hauptteil (12a) durch entsprechende Verbindungsmittel gestützt und gehalten wird, umfassend die gesamte hintere Wand (16) der Umhüllung und einen Teil der seitlichen Wände (18, 20), die sich von der hinteren Wand (16) so erstrecken, dass den Fingern des Benutzers mehr verfügbarer Platz zum Greifen gelassen wird, wenn der Brühwürfel ausgegossen wird.

2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel (26) zum Reißen und Öffnen der Umhüllung (12) zum Reißen der Umhüllung (12) entlang ihrem Umfang gestaltet sind, wodurch ein abgerissener Abschnitt (27a) gebildet wird, der sich vollständig über eine entsprechende vordere Wand (14) der Umhüllung (12) erstreckt.

3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel (26) zum Reißen und Öffnen der Umhüllung (12) zum Reißen der Umhüllung (12) entlang ihrem Umfang gestaltet sind, wodurch ein abgerissener Abschnitt (27b) gebildet wird, der sich ferner mindestens teilweise über eine angrenzende Wand (18) der Umhüllung (12) erstreckt.

4. Verpackung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel (26) zum Reißen und Öffnen der Umhüllung (12) zum Reißen der Umhüllung (12) entlang ihrem Umfang gestaltet sind, wodurch ein abgerissener Abschnitt (27c) gebildet wird, der sich ferner mindestens teilweise über eine angrenzende Wand (20) der Umhüllung auf der Seite erstreckt, die der des ersten angrenzenden Ausdehnungsabschnitts (27b) gegenüber liegt.

5. Verpackung nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich dort ein abgerissener Abschnitt (27b, 27c) befindet, der sich teilweise über eine Wand der Umhüllung erstreckt, der sich über mehr als die Hälfte der entsprechenden Wand (18, 20) erstreckt.

6. Verpackung nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die entsprechende Wand mindestens eine erste und eine zweite Schicht umfasst, die sich mindestens teilweise überlappen, wobei die Reißmittel (26) an der oberen beziehungsweise äußeren Schicht dieser sich überlappenden Schichten liegen.

7. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Mittel zum Greifen und Ziehen der Reißmittel in Form einer Lasche (30) vorhanden sind, die durch die Umhüllung (12) dort gebildet wird, wo sich ein Ende (26a) des Reißbands erstreckt.

8. Verpackung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Reißlasche (30) von einer Kante (18') an einer entsprechenden seitlichen Wand (18) erstreckt und über dem Ende (26b) des Reißbands bleibt.

9. Verpackung nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Lasche von einer gefalteten Kante (18') aus erstreckt, die in der Wand (18) liegt.

10. Verpackung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Lasche von einer gefalteten Kante (18') aus erstreckt, die im Wesentlichen orthogonal zur Wand (22) ist und die sich von einer schräg gefalteten Kante (18") erstreckt, die in der Wand (18) liegt.

11. Verpackung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Reißband (26) einen Abschnitt (26') an der vorderen Wand (14) und entsprechende Abschnitte (26b, 26c) an den seitlichen Wänden (18, 20) aufweist.

12. Verpackung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lasche (30) durch eine vorspringende, gebogene Kante (30a) begrenzt wird, auf deren Ausdehnung Einkerbungen (34, 36) in der entsprechenden Klappe der Umhüllung (12) vorhanden sind.

13. Verpackung nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einkerbungen (34, 36) Mittel zum Leiten des Reißens der Umhüllung (12) an der Greiflasche (30) bilden.

14. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein Reißband und eine Greiflasche (26a) in Form einer Lasche (130) umfasst, die in der entsprechenden Kante (118'e) eingelassen ist, die durch Einkerbungen (134, 136) gewonnen wurde, die sich parallel zu den seitlichen Kanten des Reißbands (26) erstrecken, und sich parallel zu den oberen und unteren Kanten der seitlichen Wand (18) erstrecken.

15. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Seiten des Brühwürfels weniger als 1,5 cm lang sind.

Revendications

1. Emballage (10) contenant un produit alimentaire pâteux sous la forme d'un bouillon cube et similaires et, de préférence, sous la forme d'un bouillon cube comprimé; l'emballage comprenant un papier d'emballage (12) pour envelopper le produit (11), à base d'un film plastique et avec une pluralité de cloisons de délimitation, dans lequel se trouvent des moyens (26) pour déchirer et ouvrir le papier d'emballage (12); le papier d'emballage (12) formant une pluralité de cloisons de délimitation (11) du produit, comprenant une cloison avant (14), une cloison arrière (16), une paire de cloisons latérales se faisant face (18, 20), une cloison supérieure (22) et une cloison inférieure (24), situées sur et en contact avec les faces respectives du produit en forme de cube (11); l'emballage se caractérisant en ce que les moyens (26) pour déchirer et ouvrir le papier d'emballage (12) se présentent sous la forme d'une bande linéaire (26), conçue pour déchirer le papier d'emballage (12) dans une zone positionnée entre des cloisons terminales supérieure et inférieure se faisant face (22, 24) du papier d'emballage, restant à proximité de la cloison supérieure (22) de l'emballage, fournissant un papier d'emballage (12) qui, en position d'ouverture, comprend une première partie principale (12a) et une deuxième partie plus petite (12b), sur la cloison supérieure (22) de l'emballage, et arrêté et maintenu en place par la partie principale (12a) via des moyens de liaison correspondants comprenant la cloison arrière entière (16) du papier d'emballage et une partie des cloisons latérales (18, 20) se développant à partir de la cloison arrière (16), de sorte à laisser plus d'espace pour les doigts de l'utilisateur quand il prend le bouillon cube pour le verser.

2. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les moyens (26) pour déchirer et ouvrir le papier d'emballage (12) sont conçus pour déchirer le papier d'emballage (12) le long de son périmètre, formant une portion déchirée (27a) se développant totalement sur une cloison avant correspondante (14) du papier d'emballage (12).

3. Emballage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les moyens (26) pour déchirer et ouvrir le papier d'emballage (12) sont conçus pour déchirer le papier d'emballage (12) le long de son périmètre, formant une portion déchirée (27b) se développant également, au moins partiellement, sur une cloison contiguë (18) du papier d'emballage.

4. Emballage selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que les moyens (26) pour déchirer et ouvrir le papier d'emballage (12) sont conçus pour déchirer le papier d'emballage (12) le long de son périmètre, formant une portion déchirée (27c) se développant également, au moins partiellement, sur une cloison contiguë (20) du papier d'emballage, sur le côté faisant face à celui de la première portion contiguë développée (27b).

5. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il y a une portion déchirée (27b, 27c), se développant partiellement sur une cloison du papier d'emballage, se développant sur plus de la moitié de la cloison correspondante (18, 20).

6. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la cloison respective comprend au moins une première couche et une deuxième couche qui, au moins partiellement, se chevauchent ; les moyens de déchirement (26) se situant sur la couche supérieure ou sur la couche extérieure de ces couches superposées.

7. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il y a des moyens pour prendre et tirer les moyens de déchirement, sous la forme d'une languette (30), formée par le papier d'emballage (12), où se développe une extrémité (26a) de la bande de déchirement.

8. Emballage selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la languette de déchirement (30) se développe à partir d'un bord (18'), sur une cloison latérale correspondante (18), et reste sur l'extrémité (26a) de la bande de déchirement.

9. Emballage selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que la languette se développe à partir d'un bord plié (18') situé à l'intérieur de la cloison (18).

10. Emballage selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la languette se développe à partir d'un bord plié (18'), qui est essentiellement perpendiculaire à la cloison (22), et qui se développe à partir d'un bord plié oblique (18"), situé à l'intérieur de la cloison 18.

11. Emballage selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la bande de déchirement (26) présente une portion (26') sur la cloison avant (14), et des portions correspondantes (26b, 26c) sur les cloisons latérales (18, 20).

12. Emballage selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la languette (30) est délimitée par un bord courbe en saillie (30a), sur le prolongement où se trouvent des encoches (34, 36), dans le rabat correspondant du papier d'emballage (12).

13. Emballage selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que lesdites encoches (34, 36) forment des moyens pour guider le déchirement du papier d'emballage (12), sur la languette de préhension (30).

14. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une languette de préhension avec extrémité en bande de déchirement (26a) sous la forme d'une languette (130) encastrée dans le bord correspondant (118'e), qui est obtenue grâce aux encoches (134, 136) se développant en parallèle aux bords latéraux de la bande de déchirement (26), et se développant en parallèle aux bords supérieur et inférieur de la cloison latérale (18).

15. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les côtés du bouillon cube ont moins de 1,5 cm de long.
