(57) Disclosed is an elastic image embodying apparatus including an interpolation unit to perform interpolation of a maximum pressure and a minimum pressure of ultrasound image data to generate first data, an image generating unit to generate a pyramid image by using the generated first data, a map generating unit to generate a motion map by using the generated pyramid image, a displacement calculating unit to calculate a displacement based on the generated motion map, and an image embodying unit to embody an elastic image by using the calculated displacement.
