(54) | Safety gas valve with electromagnet |
(57) The gas safety valve for a household electrical appliance is the electromagnet (2)
actuator type with a U-shaped magnetic core (11) and a movable armature (13) fixed
to the member (4) to open up the flow of gas. The electromagnet (2) comprises a thin
wire (15) actuating bobbin (7) wound on an insulating spool (13) engaged on one branch
(11a) of the core and energised by a DC current, and a thick wire winding (6) on the
second branch (11b) of the core for holding the armature (10) attracted and supplied
by a flame thermocouple, and a moulded tubular-shaped isolator bushing integral with
the spool (13) for the insertion and guiding of the two "phase" conductors (9,8),
of the windings (7,6). The phase conductor (9) of the actuating bobbin (7) is formed
by braiding the end of the thin wire, and then connected in the valve connector (24).
