| (57) A yarn winding device includes a package driving section (18) that directly drives
and rotates a package (P), a cradle (13) that supports the package driving section
(18) detachably from the package (P), and a lever handle (41) that is coupled to the
package driving section (18) by a first supporting member (61) and opens and closes
the cradle (13) by coupling and decoupling the package driving section (18) to and
from the package (P). The first supporting member (61) allows the lever handle (41)
only to pivot, and regulates movement of a pivotal center of the lever handle (41)
relative to the package driving section (18).
