[0001] More specifically, the invention relates to improvements made to the base plate or
built in drag plate for power window devices in motor vehicles, generally comprising
a clip to hold the glass at its bottom edge, or in the immediate vicinity of the same,
which slides on a guide rail with the help of a supporting element and a slider allowing
the glass to go up and down with the maximum safety along the rail, driven by an electric
motor that pulls a cable whose ends are joined to the base plate by suitable means.
[0002] In the current State of the Art in this industrial sector, several different systems
of power windows are known, such as those described in the previous paragraph, so
that aforementioned clips, normally two, are secured to a support and the clip and
support help to immobilise the glass and align it with the car door window frame.
As well as this alignment function, a basic fact is that the support and the clip
slide along the guide rail, for which purpose a slider built in to the support is
needed, and the inside of the slider matches the guide rail.
[0003] Likewise, the use of a single component comprising the clip and the slider is known
from the prior art, as disclosed in the utility model
DE200005018485, the union of the clip and the slider in a single component makes assembly easier
and quicker to assemble in the windows device. This document discloses the features
of the preamble of claim 1.
[0004] The claimed invention, unlike the current State of the Art, is a single component
comprising the clip and the slider, as well a means of joining said parts to the base
plate or built in drag plate, the parts being preferably made by plastic injection
moulding, and the plate made from a metal sheet by stamping and die-casting, incorporating
means for alignment and immobilisation of the bottom edge of the glass to the plate,
so that the glass is secured at three points. immobilisation of the bottom edge of

[0005] The claimed invention comprises a substantially rectangular metal plate or perimeter
drag plate, formed from a metal sheet by stamping and die-casting thereof; wherein
the plastic part which includes the clip for fastening and immobilising the window
pane by the lower portion thereof is rigidly attached to said metal sheet; said clip
has a slot in the central portion thereof, where the window pane rests, thereby rigidly
attaching the plastic part to the three point drag plate. In addition to the three
aforementioned holes, the built in drag plate has three stamped holes in its central
part with three orifices for securing the clips, and in the top edge of the supporting
element there are four or more grooves to press fit the rubber gaskets that avoid
the glass breaking.
[0006] The clip and slider, being a single component, makes assembly easier and quicker
to assemble, in addition to the fact that the system of contact with the guide for
sliding the power window is easy to install, by means of a groove that allows the
base plate drag to be fitted with said guide rail.
[0007] Other details and characteristics shall be shown throughout the description below
referring to drawings attached to this report which are shown for illustrative but
not limiting purposes a preferred embodiment of the invention.

in Figure 3, which has a die-cut hole (28).
Figure 7 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the slider (34) with a groove inside
(35) and on its top edge (37) the lugs (36), through line C-C in Figure 10.
Figure 8 is a transverse, cross-sectional view of the slider (34) through line B-B'
in Figure 9, whose lower part has hooks (21) for securing the slider (34) to the base
plate (10).
Figure 9 is a front elevation view of the single-component clip-slider set (11-34).
Figure 10 is a side elevation view of the single-component clip-slider set (11-34).
Figure 11 is an enlarged detail of the hook (21) through "D" in Figure 8.
[0009] In one of the preferred embodiments of this invention, as may be seen in Figs. 1
and 2, the drag plate (10) is composed of a rectangular metal stamped and die-casting
plate, with stamped holes (30) in the proximity of the bottom base to which a drag
plate (16) is secured with a screw (15) and a nut (14).
[0010] In the central part of the base plate (10) and in the vicinity of the top edge (33)
there is a flange (18), as can be seen in Fig. 5, which has a sloping part (31) that
extends upwards forming a vertical part (32). There are also slots (20) in the top
edge (33) of the base plate (10) into which rubber seals are press fitted (13) and
the glass (41), not shown in the figures, see Figs. 1, 2 and 4.
[0011] The single-component clip-slider set (11-34), as can be seen in Fig. 10, is composed
of a clip (11), formed by two wings (38), which have a groove in their central part
(17), these wing (38) being reinforced with longitudinal ribs (39). Between the wings
(38) there is an open cavity (40) adapted for fitting the glass (41), not shown in
the figures.
[0012] From the smaller side bases (42) of the drag plate (10) project tabs (12), on which
the bottom edge of the glass (41) rests, so that (41) it first rests on the clip (11)
and in its cavity (40), in the support rubbers (13) the drag plates (16) and the tabs
(12).
[0013] The slider (34), as can be seen in Figs. 7 and 8, has a prism-shaped body, with a
vertical longitudinal groove inside (35) adapted to fit in a guide-rail (43), not
shown in the illustrations. On its top edge (37) it (34) has some lugs (36) to secure
it to the top edge (33) of the drag plate (10), whereas its bottom edge (44) has some
hooks (21), whose wings (22) are press fitted into the drilled holes (24) by the recesses
of (22) in (24).
[0014] Having sufficiently described this invention using the Figures attached, it is easy
to understand that any changes judged to be suitable may be made, whenever these changes
do not alter of the essence of the invention summarised in the following claims.
1. BASE PLATE ASSEMBLY OR BUILT IN DRAG PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR POWER WINDOW DEVICES IN MOTOR
VEHICLES comprising a base plate (10), a clip (11) and a slider(34) for the movement
of the glass along a guide rail, the slider (34) having a prism-shaped body, wherein
the base plate (10) is composed of a rectangular metal stamped and die-casting plate
formed from a metal sheet, comprising stamped holes (30) in the proximity of the bottom
base of the base plate (10) and serves as a support for the clip (11) securing the
glass in the mounted position, wherein the clip (11) and slider (34) form a single-component
clip-slider set (11-34), which is secured to the base plate (10) by means of lugs
(36) that project from the top edge of the slider (34) to secure it to the top edge
(33) of the base plate (10), and hooks (21) that project from the vicinity of the
bottom edge (44) of the slider (34) and are press-fitted into drilled holes (24) in
the base plate (10),
wherein the single-component clip-slider set (11-34) is composed of the clip (11),
formed by two wings (38), between said wings (38) there is an open cavity (40) adapted
for fitting the glass (41),
characterized in that the slider (34) has a vertical longitudinal groove (35) inside adapted to fit in
a guide-rail,
and wherein the base plate (10) comprises a drag plate (16) which is secured to the
stamped holes (30) with a screw (15) and a nut (14), the base plate (10) further comprising
rubber seals (13) and slots (20) in its top edge (33) into which the rubber seals
(13) and the glass are press fitted, and tabs (12) which are projected in its smaller
side bases (42) and on which the bottom edge of the glass rests in the mounted position,
so that in the mounted position the glass rests on the clip (11), the rubber seals
(13), the drag plates (16), the tabs (12) and in the clip's cavity (40).
2. BASE PLATE ASSEMBLY OR BUILT IN DRAG PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR POWER WINDOW DEVICES IN MOTOR
VEHICLES according to the claim 1 characterised by the fact that in the central part of the base plate (10) and in the vicinity of the
top edge (33) there is a flange (18), which has a sloping part (31) that extends upwards
forming a vertical part (32), so that one of wings (38) of the clip (11) can rest
and be secured to said flange (18).
3. BASE PLATE ASSEMBLY OR BUILT IN DRAG PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR POWER WINDOW DEVICES IN MOTOR
VEHICLES according to the claim 1 characterised by the fact that the wings (38) of the clip (11), have a groove in their central part
(17), these wings (38) being reinforced with longitudinal ribs (39), and between said
wings (38) there is an open cavity (40) adapted for fitting the glass (41).
4. BASE PLATE ASSEMBLY OR BUILT IN DRAG PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR POWER WINDOW DEVICES IN MOTOR
VEHICLES according to the claim 1 characterised by the fact that the slider (34) has some lugs (36) on its top edge (37) to secure it
to the top edge (33) of the drag plate (10), whereas its bottom edge (44) has some
hooks (21), whose wings (22) are press fitted into the drilled holes (24) by the recesses
of (22) in (24).
1. GRUNDPLATTENBAUSATZ ODER EINGEBAUTER MITNEHMERPLATTENBAUSATZ FÜR FENSTERHEBEVORRICHTUNGEN
IN KRAFTFAHRZEUGEN, bestehend aus einer Grundplatte (10), einer Klammer (11) und einem
Schieber (34) zur Bewegung der Scheibe entlang einer Führungsschiene, wobei der Schieber
(34) einen prismenförmigen Körper aufweist und die Grundplatte (10) aus einer rechteckigen
aus einem Metallblech gestanzten Druckgussplatte besteht und Stanzlöcher (30) in der
Nähe des Bodens der Grundplatte (10) aufweist und als Stütze für die Klammer (11)
dient, welche die Scheibe in der Einbaulage sichert, wobei die Klammer (11) und der
Schieber (34) als Klammer-Schieber-Satz (11-34) ein Einzelbauteil bilden, das an der
Grundplatte (10) befestigt ist, und zwar mittels an der Oberkante des Schiebers (34)
herausragenden Laschen (36), die zur Befestigung an der Oberkante (33) der Grundplatte
(10) dienen, und Haken (21), die in der Nähe der Unterkante (44) des Schiebers (34)
herausragen und in die Bohrungen (24) in der Grundplatte (10) hineingepresst sind,
wobei das Einzelbauteil Klammer-Schieber-Satz (11-34) aus der Klammer (11) besteht,
die wiederum aus zwei Flügeln (38) gebildet ist, zwischen denen ein offener Hohlraum
(40) existiert, der zum Einsetzen der Scheibe (41) geeignet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schieber (34) innen eine vertikal verlaufende Längsnut (35) aufweist, die zur
Aufnahme einer Führungsschiene geeignet ist, wobei die Grundplatte (10) eine Mitnehmerplatte
(16) umfasst, die in den Stanzlöchern (30) mittels einer Schraube (15) und einer Mutter
(14) befestigt ist, und wobei die Grundplatte (10) des Weiteren Gummidichtungen (13)
und an ihrer Oberkante (33) angeordnete Schlitze (20) umfasst, in welche die Gummidichtungen
(13) und die Scheibe hineingepresst werden, sowie Zungen (12), die in die kleineren
Seitenflächen (42) hineinragen und auf denen die Unterkante der Scheibe in der Einbaulage
ruht, sodass die Scheibe in der Einbaulage auf der Klammer (11), den Gummidichtungen
(13), den Mitnehmerplatten (16), den Zungen (12) und dem Hohlraum (40) in der Klammer
ruht.
2. GRUNDPLATTENBAUSATZ ODER EINGEBAUTER MITNEHMERPLATTENBAUSATZ FÜR FENSTERHEBEVORRICHTUNGEN
IN KRAFTFAHRZEUGEN nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Mittelteil der Grundplatte (10) und in der Nähe der Oberkante (33) ein Flansch
(18) existiert, der einen schrägen Teil (31) aufweist, der sich nach oben erstreckt
und einen vertikalen Teil (32) bildet, sodass einer der Flügel (38) der Klammer (11)
auf dem Flansch (18) aufliegt und dort befestigt werden kann.
3. GRUNDPLATTENBAUSATZ ODER EINGEBAUTER MITNEHMERPLATTENBAUSATZ FÜR FENSTERHEBEVORRICHTUNGEN
IN KRAFTFAHRZEUGEN nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Flügel (38) der Klammer (11) eine Nut in ihrem Mittelteil (17) aufweisen, wobei
diese Flügel (38) mit Längsrippen (39) verstärkt sind und zwischen den Flügeln (38)
ein offener Hohlraum (40) existiert, der zum Einsetzen der Scheibe (41) geeignet ist.
4. GRUNDPLATTENBAUSATZ ODER EINGEBAUTER MITNEHMERPLATTENBAUSATZ FÜR FENSTERHEBEVORRICHTUNGEN
IN KRAFTFAHRZEUGEN nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schieber (34) an seiner Oberkante (37) mehrere Laschen (36) aufweist, mit denen
er an der Oberkante (33) der Mitnehmerplatte (10) befestigt wird, während seine Unterkante
(44) mehrere Haken (21) aufweist, deren Flügel (22) mittels der darin vorgesehenen
Aussparungen in die Bohrungen (24) hineingepresst werden.
1. ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE BASE OU ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE TRAÎNÉE INTÉGRÉ POUR DISPOSITIFS
D'ALIMENTATION DE VITRES DE VÉHICULES AUTOMOBILES comprenant une plaque de base (10),
un clip (11) et un coulisseau (34) pour le mouvement de la vitre le long d'un rail
de guidage, le coulisseau (34) ayant un corps en forme de prisme, où la plaque de
base (10) est composée d'un métal rectangulaire estampé et d'une plaque moulée sous
pression formée à partir d'une feuille de métal, comprenant des trous estampés (30)
à proximité de la base inférieure de la plaque de base (10) et qui sert de support
au clip (11) fixant la vitre en position montée, où le clip (11) et le coulisseau
(34) forment un seul ensemble clip-coulisseau (11 à 34), qui est fixé à la plaque
de base (10) au moyen de languettes (36) qui saillissent de la partie supérieure du
coulisseau (34) pour le fixer au bord supérieur (33) de la plaque de base (10), et
de crochets (21) qui saillissent de la proximité du bord inférieur (44) du coulisseau
(34) et sont ajustés par pression dans des trous percés (24) dans la plaque de base
(10), où l'ensemble clip-coulisseau (11-34) est constitué du clip (11), formé par
deux ailes (38) entre lesquelles se trouve une cavité ouverte (40) adaptée pour loger
la vitre (41), caractérisé en ce que le coulisseau (34) présente une rainure intérieure longitudinale verticale (35) adaptée
pour s'ajuster à un guide-rail, et où la plaque de base (10) comprend une plaque de
traînée (16) qui est fixée aux trous estampés (30) avec une vis (15) et un écrou (14),
la plaque de base (10) comprenant en outre des joints en caoutchouc (13), et des fentes
(20) dans sa partie supérieure (33), dans lesquelles les joints en caoutchouc (13)
et la vitre sont logés par pression, et les onglets (12) qui sont projetés dans ses
bases latérales les plus petites (42) et sur lesquels le bord inférieur de la vitre
repose, de sorte que dans la position montée, la vitre repose sur le clip (11), les
joints en caoutchouc (13), les plaques de traînée (16), les onglets (12) et dans la
cavité du clip (40).
2. ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE BASE OU ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE TRAÎNÉE INTÉGRÉ POUR DISPOSITIFS
D'ALIMENTATION DE VITRES DE VÉHICULES AUTOMOBILES conformément à la revendication
1 caractérisé en ce que dans la partie centrale de la plaque de base (10) et à proximité du bord supérieur
(33) se trouve un collet (18) qui a une partie inclinée (31) qui s'étend vers le haut
formant une partie verticale (32), de sorte que l'une des ailes (38) du clip (11)
peut reposer et être fixé audit collet (18).
3. ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE BASE OU ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE TRAÎNÉE INTÉGRÉ POUR DISPOSITIFS
D'ALIMENTATION DE VITRES DE VÉHICULES AUTOMOBILES conformément à la revendication
1 caractérisé en ce que les ailes (38) du clip (11) ont une rainure sur leur partie centrale (17), ces ailes
(38) étant renforcées par des nervures longitudinales (39) et entre lesdites ailes
(38) se trouve une cavité ouverte (40) adaptée pour loger la vitre (41).
4. ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE BASE OU ASSEMBLAGE DE PLAQUE DE TRAÎNÉE INTÉGRÉ POUR DISPOSITIFS
D'ALIMENTATION DE VITRES DE VÉHICULES AUTOMOBILES conformément à la revendication
1 caractérisé en ce que le coulisseau (34) présente quelques languettes (36) sur son bord supérieur (37)
pour le fixer au bord supérieur (33) de la plaque de traînée (10), tandis que son
bord inférieur (44) présente quelques crochets (21) dont les ailes (22) sont logées
par pression dans les trous percés (24) par les encastrements de (22) dans (24).
