FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] This invention concerns a sideline bench of the type used in sporting activities, to assist the coaching staff and the team during practice or during sports competitions. such a bench is known for example from FR 2 686 639 A1.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED

[0002] Until now, benches have been made as fixed structures that are placed close to the playing field, at the same level as the field or a level below. That means that it was not possible to move them from one place to another if needed. In auxiliary or training fields, they did not exist or were improvised using chair or benches placed on the ground. This left the coaching staff and players exposed to the weather, without the required amenities for sitting down or the storage of first aid items, or other items: shoes, shirts, etc.

[0003] Furthermore, current sideline benches do not allow for the projection of images for communication of advertisement.

AIM OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The idea of this invention was conceived with the aim of solving the indicated problems, by providing a portable bench that has a sliding roof cover and sides adaptable to needs, seating and/or benches for tournaments, and as a place to store first aid items and other items. The roof has an ample surface for displaying advertising, both static and dynamic through placement of LED screens, or the like.

[0005] Therefore, the primary object of the present invention, "SIDELINE BENCH" of the type used in sports fields is to assist the coaching staff and the team during practice or during sporting tournaments. It is characterized by a tubular frame structure, comprising a flat rectangular base covered by a laminar plate constituting the bottom; the back of the structure has an axis of the same length as its longest side with at least one wheel at each of its ends. In the middle section of the base stands a horizontal support upon which the seats are placed side by side or the benches are fixed; behind these is placed at least one annex unit with shelves, at least four pillars or rods, equidistant from the horizontal support, and raised vertically from the base supporting a curved roof, The roof starts in relation to the axis and extends curving outward to form a weather-protective visor; said roof comprises of a fixed lower covering and a mobile upper covering; the upper covering can slide on sliding rollers over the fixed lower covering, through a pinion fixed to the bottom cover and a rack system on the upper mobile cover, synchronized by a Cardan shaft and activated by motive device.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] Hereafter, using the established reference numbers is a detailed explanation of what constitutes the present invention and how to use it.

[0018] As can be seen in aforementioned figures, the sideline bench comprises a tubular frame structure (1), comprising of a flat rectangular base (2) covered by a laminar plate constituting the bottom. The back of the structure has an axis (3) of the same length as its longest side with at least one wheel (4) on each of its ends. In the middle section of said base stands a horizontal support (5) separated from the bottom, upon which the seats are placed side by side or the benches are fixed (6), behind them is placed at least one annex unit with shelves (7). At least four pillars or rods (8), equidistant from the horizontal support, raised vertically from the base and supporting a curved roof (9). The roof (9) begins by the axis (3) and extends curving outward forming weatherproof visor; the same roof comprises a fixed lower covering (10) and a mobile upper covering (11), the upper covering (11) can slide on sliding rollers (12) over the fixed lower covering (10), through a pinion (13) fixed to the bottom cover (10) and a rack system on the upper mobile cover (11), synchronized by a Cardan shaft and activated by motive device (not shown in the drawings).

[0019] The fixed and mobile coverings that form the roof permit projection of images and static advertising. They also permit projection of dynamic advertising. The fixed (10) and mobile (11) coverings that form the roof (9) contain LED screens that cover their entire surface and may contain FLC (Flexible LED Curtain) displays that cover their entire surface.

[0020] The bench has transparent side panels (15) on both sides and between the pillars or rods (8) that sustain the roof (9).

[0021] The aforementioned rectangular base contains on its front part, a leg cover (16) formed by a tubular structure that is sustained by a convex plate higher then the seats (6) and of the same length as the base of the structure.

[0022] On the leg cover (16), static and/or dynamic advertisements may also be placed through LED screens or FLC displays that cover their entire surface. The upper mobile covering (11) that forms the roof (9) is moved by a motive device, consisting of a low voltage motor with a switch-controlled transmission system, the latter featuring a clutch brake (not shown in drawings).

[0023] It should be clear that the transport of the sideline bench of the present invention can be done by lifting its front part both manually and mechanically with any engine powered vehicle, in such a way that its weight rests on its wheels, making transportation easy according to necessities.

Claims

1. "SIDELINE BENCH" of the type used in sporting activities, to assist the coaching staff and the team during practice or during sports competition; CHARACTERIZED BY a tubular frame structure (1), comprising a flat rectangular base (2) covered by a laminar plate constituting the bottom; the back of the structure has an axis (3) of the same length as its longest side with at least one wheel (4) on each of its ends; in the middle section of the base stands a horizontal support (5) upon which the seats (6) are placed side by side, or the benches are fixed, behind them is placed at least one annex unit (7) with shelves; at least four pillars (8) or rods, equidistant from the horizontal support (5), raised vertically from the base supporting a curved roof (9); the roof (9) starts in relation to the axis (3) and extends curving outward forming a weatherproof visor; said roof (9) comprises a fixed lower covering (10) and a mobile upper covering (11), the upper covering (11) can slide on sliding rollers (12) over the fixed lower covering (10), through a pinion (13) fixed to the lower cover (10) and a rack system (14) on the upper mobile cover (11), synchronized by a Cardan shaft and activated by motive device.

Ansprüche

1. Sideline-Bank der Art, die in sportlichen Aktivitäten verwendet wird, zu Diensten des Trainerstabs und der Mannschaft während des Trainings oder während eines sportlichen Wettbewerbs, gekennzeichnet durch eine rohrförmige Rahmenstruktur (1), die eine flache rechteckige Basis (2) umfasst, welche mit einer flächenförmigen Platte bedeckt ist, die die Grundfläche bildet; wobei der hintere Teil der Struktur eine Achse (3) mit der gleichen Länge wie ihre längste Seite aufweist, mit mindestens einem Rad (4) in jedem seiner Enden; wobei im mittleren Bereich der Basis eine horizontale Auflage (5) steht, auf welcher die Sitze (6) nebeneinander angebracht sind oder die Bänke fixiert sind, hinter denen mindestens eine Nebeneinrichtung (7) mit Regalen angebracht ist; wobei von der Basis aus mindestens vier Stützen (8) oder Streben äquidistant von der horizontalen Auflage (5) senkrecht hervorragen und eine gebogene Überdachung (9) stützen; wobei die Überdachung (9) in Übereinstimmung mit der Achse (3) anfängt und sich nach außen gebogen erstreckt und einen wetterbeständigen Blendschutz bildet; wobei die genannte Überdachung (9) eine fixierte untere Abdeckung (10) und eine bewegliche obere Abdeckung (11) umfasst, wobei die obere Abdeckung (11) auf Gleitkufen (12) über die fixierte untere Abdeckung (10) gleiten kann, durch ein an der unteren Abdeckung (10) fixiertes Ritzel (13) und ein Zahnstahgensystem (14) auf der oberen beweglichen Abdeckung (11), synchronisiert durch eine Kardanwelle und aktiviert durch eine Antriebsvorrichtung.

2. Sideline-Bank nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte fixierte Abdeckung (10) und durch die vorgenannte bewegliche Abdeckung (11), welche die Überdachung (9) bilden und die Projektion von Bildern und statischen Anzeigen erlauben.

3. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte fixierte Abdeckung (10) und durch die vorgenannte bewegliche Abdeckung (11), welche die Überdachung (9) bilden und die Projektion von Bildern und dynamischen Anzeigen erlauben.

4. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte fixierte Abdeckung (10) und durch die vorgenannte bewegliche Abdeckung (11), welche die Überdachung (9) bilden und LED-Bildschirme aufweisen, welche deren gesamte Oberfläche bedecken.

5. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte fixierte Abdeckung (10) und durch die vorgenannte bewegliche Abdeckung (11), welche die Überdachung (9) bilden und FLC-Anzeigen aufweisen, welche deren gesamte Oberfläche bedecken.

6. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die Anwesenheit von durchsichtigen Seitenpaneelen (15), zwischen den Stützen (8) und den Streben welche die Überdachung (9) halten.

7. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte rechteckige Basis (2), welche auf ihrem Vorderteil eine Beinabdeckung (16) aufweist, welche durch eine rohrförmige Struktur gebildet ist, welche von einer konvexen Platte gehalten wird, die höher als die Sitze (6) ist und die gleiche Länge als die Basis (2) der Struktur hat.

8. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte Beinabdeckung (16), welche LED-Bildschirme aufweist, welche deren gesamte Oberfläche bedecken.

9. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte Beinabdeckung (16), welche FLC-Anzeigen aufweist, welche deren gesamte Oberfläche bedecken.

10. Sideline-Bank nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch die vorgenannte Antriebsvorrichtung, welche ein Niederspannungsmotor mit einem Schalter-kontrolliertes Übertragungssystem ist, welches eine Kupplungsbremse aufweist.

Revendications

1. Banc de touche du type utilisé dans des activités sportives, pour assister les entraîneurs et l'équipe pendant la pratique ou pendant la compétition sportive ; caractérisé par une structure de châssis tubulaire (1), comprenant une base rectangulaire plate (2) recouverte par une plaque laminaire constituant le fond ; la partie arrière de la structure a un axe (3) de la même longueur que son côté le plus long avec au moins une roue (4) sur chacune de ses extrémités ; dans la section intermédiaire de la base se trouve un support horizontal (5) sur lequel les sièges (6) sont placés les uns à côté des autres, ou les bancs sont fixés, derrière ceux-ci est placé au moins une unité supplémentaire (7) avec des étagères ; au moins quatre piliers (8) ou tringles, équidistants du support horizontal (5), surélevés verticalement de la base qui supportent un toit courbé (9) ; le toit (9) commence en rapport avec l'axe (3) et s'étend en se courbant vers l'extérieur en formant une visière résistante aux intempéries ; ledit toit (9) comprend une couverture inférieure fixe (10) et une couverture supérieure mobile (11), la couverture supérieure (11) peut glisser sur des rouleaux de glissement (12) sur la couverture inférieure fixe (10), par le biais d'un pignon (13) fixé à la couverture inférieure (10) et un système à crémaillère (14) sur la couverture supérieure mobile (11) synchronisé par un arbre à cardan et activé par un dispositif moteur.

5. Banc de touche selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par lesdites couvertures fixe et mobile (10, 11) qui forment le toit (9), qui contiennent des afficheurs FLC qui recouvrent toute leur surface.

6. Banc de touche selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par la présence de panneaux latéraux transparents (15), entre les piliers (8) et les tringles qui soutiennent le toit (9).

7. Banc de touche selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par ladite base rectangulaire (2) contenant sur sa partie avant, une couverture pour les jambes (16) formée par une structure tubulaire qui est soutenue par une plaque convexe plus élevée que les sièges (6) et de la même longueur que la base (2) de la structure.

8. Banc de touche selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par ladite couverture pour les jambes (16) qui contient des écrans à LED qui recouvrent toute sa surface.

10. Banc de touche selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par ledit dispositif moteur, un moteur à basse tension avec un système de transmission commandé par commutateur pourvue d'un frein d'embrayage.
