[0001] This description memo refers to a invention patent regarding a cap lamp for bottles,
with an innovative lighting system inside, whose purpose (evidently) is to provide
the lamps with an aesthetic appearance (using bottles as support), randomly creates
different shades depending on the type and quantity of liquid in the bottles in order
to play with the light intensity in any room.
Field of the invention
[0002] This invention has its application in the manufacturing industry of lamps, electrical
devices and lighting accessories for any places such as homes, coffee shops, offices,
etc as well as in the advertisement sector and particularly in the hotel and commercial
industry in order to advertise commercial images.
Background to the invention
[0003] Currently and since long ago, it is common to see table lamps; being these a classical
way of providing light to the environment in study tables, coffee tables and other
sites such as places of transit. Each and every of these items that we find in our
everyday life are known to include a fastening element, the lamp foot or holder, which's
height and size vary depending on whether the lamp stands on the floor or a table,
implying that the aesthetics will always be alike and that only the position of the
lamp will be subject to changes, as the light source will always need the lamp foot
or holder.
[0004] Consequently it is deduced that the current lighting systems limit the free movement
and aesthetics' change; therefore, the image offered by the lamp in a specific place
will always remain the same in any other environment and the light will not change
unless the light bulb, led or other light source is replaced and the element through
which the light shines like a lamp shade.
[0005] The obvious solution to these issues would be to have an element or device which,
with a reduced cost and a simple assembly, would provide a new and more attractive
image to the environment where it is placed, changing the image offered depending
on the location and support used for it. However, until this very moment there is
no awareness of the existence of such an invention, which solves the aforementioned
issues and at the same time enhances the aesthetics of lighting systems.
Description of the invention
[0006] The cap lamp for bottles, which constitutes by itself a solution to the existing
problems explained, being an item which enables to play in an unlimited number of
ways with the light of the environment in which it is placed, enhancing the attractive
of corners and spaces providing several forms and intensities of lighting and even
different colour tone scales.
[0007] Specifically, the cap lamp for bottles advocated in the present document transfers
to the field of lighting systems, and particularly to the table- and floor- systems,
the advantages of providing different atmospheres to the environment where it is placed,
as well as the freedom of intensity, colour and amplitude desired at anytime.
[0008] The cap lamp for bottles advocated in the present document has the ability to become
part of the environment where it is placed, as the only element to be provided is
a support to put the cap lamp for bottles and then place it at any desired spot. For
the purpose of the support it is enough to have a bottle available, which can have
any dimensions, any glass colour deemed interesting and/or be totally or partially
filled with the liquid or element desired in order to get the light intensity, colour
and amplitude desired at any given moment.
[0009] This provides a wide range of possibilities for decorating a wide space or, for instance,
a small reading corner as it consists, as the name already points out, of a cap for
bottles with cylindrical shape in which's interior a small led lamp is comprised,
assembled in the top inner area of the cylinder, with a small opening on the upper
outline from which a power cord with a conventional plug at the other end of the cable
emerges in order to plug the device to a standard socket. Therefore, it is only necessary
to place the device as a bottle cap on the bottleneck of the desired or available
bottle, of any given glass colour and tone and with or without a filling liquid, being
these elements the ones which will provide a different image at any given moment,
by projecting the beam of light downwards into the bottle, illuminating the interior
of the bottle and providing light to the environment.
[0010] The effects and advantages resulting from the invention patent hereby advocated are
the following:
- Because of the manufacturing possibilities with common and inexpensive materials and
elements, together with the development of a simple technology, the manufacturing
cost of the product is very low and the resulting product highly competitive.
- The simplicity and economy of a system of such characteristics enables to transfer
or change the lighting point to any desired spot, being only necessary a standard
electrical socket nearby.
- Because of the ease of use and simplicity of the system, it is suitable to be used
in any place, space or environment without distinction.
- Because of the standardized manufacturing, it is suitable for any bottle (or container
of similar characteristics) with a bottleneck on which the lamp can be placed as a
bottle cap.
Description of the designs
[0011] In order to complement the description and to improve the comprehension of the features
of the invention, this descriptive memory attaches, as integral part of the memory,
a plot layout which represents with illustrative and not restrictive character the
following:
Figure 1: Shows the elevation view of the whole device, set on the bottleneck and
mouth of the bottle.
Figure 2: Shows the perspective view of the cap lamp for bottles.
Preferential realization of the invention
[0012] In the light of the figures described above, it can be observed that the invention
is a lamp (1) in the form of a cap for bottles (2) in which's interior, in the top
inner area (3) and inside a small space (4), there is a base / lamp cap (5) to house/host
a led light (6). It can also be observed that once the lamp (1) is placed as a bottle
cap on the bottleneck (7) of the bottle (8) it will light up the interior of the bottle
and its environment. On the upper outline (3) it has a small opening (9) in order
to connect a power cord (10) with a plug (11) at the other end of the cable.
[0013] It is deemed unnecessary to further strain over details as any skilled person will
understand the advantages and extension of the invention.
[0014] The materials, shapes, size and layout of the elements will be subject to changes
as long as it does not result into an alteration of the essence of the invention.
[0015] The terms described in this memory will always have to be interpreted in a broad
sense and without limiting character.
1. Cap lamp for bottles, characterized by including a led light in the top inner area.
2. Cap lamp for bottles, as described above, characterized by presenting a small opening on the upper outline.
3. Cap lamp for bottles, as described above, characterized by having a power cord with a plug at the other end of the cable. The power cord is
connected to the small opening on the upper outline.
