(57) The present invention concerns a system (5) for adjusting a load (41) movable along
a vertical direction (A) for gymnastic machines (1) provided with a frame (2), said
system (5) comprising a supporting member (6) of said mobile load (41), provided with
a plurality of adjustment holes (61 a, 61 b, ..., 61 n), said movable load (41) consisting
of a plurality of weights (41') arranged stacked and selectively selectable, a selector
member (7) intended to be inserted in one of said adjustment holes (61 a, 61 b, ...,
61 n) of said supporting member (6), in order to select a group of said weights (41'),
adjusting said movable load (41), and a string (8) having an end fixed to said selector
member (7), said system (5) being characterized by comprising tensioning means (9)
of said string (8), to keep said string (8) in tension when said selector member (7)
is inserted in one hole of said plurality of adjustment holes (61 a, 61 b, ..., 61
n), and to return said selector member (7) when it is disengaged from said plurality
of adjustment holes (61 a, 61 b, ..., 61 n).
The present invention also concerns a tensioning and returning device (9).
