[0001] Invention relates to an apparatus for forcing poles and piles into the ground which
apparatus comprises a fastening body for attaching it to a working machine, a structure
attached to the fastening body with the help of suppression pieces which structure
comprises a vibrator unit and gripping jaws for gripping the pieces to be forced wherein
at least the other one of the gripping jaws is a turnable and squeezing jaw and the
compression force of the mentioned jaw can be directed to the piece to be forced in
order to keep the piece in place between the jaws during the forcing.
[0002] Previously an apparatus according to the preamble for forcing poles and piles into
the ground is known for example from the publication
EP 2 003 252 A1. In this publication a previously known structure is shown in which structure one
jaw is stationary and two turnable jaw arms located on top of each other to a distance
from each other function as a movable jaw. Each turnable jaw has its own turning cylinder
with the help of which turning cylinder the jaw arm attached to them is turned. The
turning cylinders of each jaw arm are attached to function at the same time.
[0003] This kind of solution in which each turnable jaw arm is separate without a structure
combining them and conveying turning force has the disadvantage that when the piece
hinges on only one squeezing jaw the compression force of the other turning cylinder
cannot be utilized when the piece is being gripped and it is being held. In that case
one jaw only squeezes directly against the stationary jaw without there being anything
between them. Especially when the poles are being lifted up by forcing there is so
little to see of the pole at the starting situation that only with the lower jaw of
the equipment one can grip the pole.
[0004] In order to eliminate these disadvantages a new apparatus has been developed with
which apparatus the compression efficiency is improved only with one jaw when the
piece is being gripped. It is characteristic for the apparatus according to the invention
that the turnable and squeezing jaw comprises one or several turning cylinder(s) of
the jaw which turning cylinder(s) can be located freely in elevation direction the
turning force(s) of which turning cylinder can separately be directed to the gripping
surfaces of the mentioned jaw with the help of the arms, such as to the upper and
lower gripping surface of the jaw and the apparatus further comprises a structure,
such as a pipe, combining the mentioned arms which pipe is located in direction of
the swiveling axis line of the mentioned jaw and which pipe is adjusted to direct
the turning force of all turning cylinder to any gripping surface of the mentioned
jaw or to all of them along with the jaw body.
[0005] The advantage of the apparatus according to the invention is the fact that one or
several turning cylinder(s) can be located to the turnable and squeezing jaw at altitudes
that can be freely selected. The pivots of the swiveling axis of the jaw in relation
to the body can be arranged to a sufficient distance from each other in which case
when the impact force is being directed to the piece through the jaw, the pivots get
the least stress. The piece can be gripped with the lower edge of the jaw or with
the lower gripping piece and in spite of that the force of all turning cylinders can
be directed to this compression due to the structure of the jaw having torsional stiffness
[0006] Embodiments according to the invention are set out in the independent claim 1 with
further specific embodiments as set out in the dependent claims.
[0007] In the following the invention is described more detailed by referring to the accompanying
drawings in which
Figure 1 shows a forcing equipment of a pole/pile diagonally shown.
Figure 2 shows a jaw being moved supported by a reversal link as a front view.
[0008] In the figure 1 there is a forcing equipment of poles/piles equipped with a body
1. The equipment is attached from the body 1 for example to the end of the extension
arm of a digging machine. Another body, an equipment body that comprises a hammer
gear, such as a vibrator device that is located underneath the lid 15, is attached
to the body 1 through rubber dampers 14. Further the equipment body comprises a jaw
arrangement for gripping the poles/piles. In this implementation example one jaw 2
is stationary and it has measure regarding the elevation direction in such a way that
two gripping pieces 12 and 12' can be attached to it to a distance from each other.
Thus the oblong pieces are gripped at two locations in which case the pieces keep
well their direction during the jaw grip.
[0009] One jaw 3 is movable and its swiveling axis 13 is near the vibrator unit. The jaw
3 is turned with the help of the cylinders 16 the one of which is at the altitude
of the lower part of the jaw 3 and the other is at the altitude of the upper part
(not shown in the figure). The pins 19 located at the swiveling axis line 13 or a
whole axis 19 are attached at their lower end to the equipment body with the help
of a part 7 and at their upper end through another part 7. The distance of the pivot
mountings of the jaw has thus been maximized.
[0010] The turning force is conveyed from the cylinder 16 to the pipe 4 with the help of
the arms 6 and 8 which pipe combines the upper 5 and the lower jaw arm 6 to each other.
The remaining structure of the pipe 4 and the jaw is made to be robust so that the
force of whichever cylinder 16 can be directed to be additional force to the line
of one cylinder 16 in other words at the location of the altitude of the other cylinder
at the jaw grasper 17 or 18 without the structure of the jaw in the jaw 3 to be twisted.
Only the minimum structure of the jaw 3 is shown in the figure 1 in other words the
necessary support structures in the case of two cylinders 16. Naturally stiffener
structures can be added to avoid the warping of the jaw 3.
[0011] In the figure 2 the jaw 3 of the figure 1 is shown directly from the front. The jaw
3 has two gripping pieces 17 and 18 at the upper and the lower part. The gripping
pieces 17, 18 can be detached and replaced with desired form pieces according to the
profiles of the piles and poles. Also the gripping piece can be uniform and be at
the height of the jaw 3 for example when wooden poles are being forced in which case
a large gripping surface is formed. The other ends of the cylinders 16 are attached
to the pins 10 and 11. The turning force is conveyed from the pins 10, 11 to the pipe
4 through the arms 5, 9 and 6, 8 and further through the structure of the jaw 3 to
the gripping pieces 17, 18. The pipe 4 is most advantageously located in such a way
that the swiveling axis line 13 is directed inside the pipe 4.
[0012] When the jaw 3 is stiff there can be one or several turning cylinders 16 and the
location of them in elevation direction can be freely selected. The piece can be located
between the jaws in any way but the force of all the turning cylinders 16 will always
be conveyed to the compression point even though there would be only one compression
point between the jaws 2 and 3.
1. Apparatus for forcing poles and piles into the ground which apparatus comprises a
fastening body (1) for attaching it to a working machine, a structure attached to
the fastening body with the help of suppression pieces (14) which structure comprises
a vibrator unit and gripping jaws (2); (3) for gripping the pieces to be forced in
which case at least one of the gripping jaws (3) is turnable and squeezing jaw and
the compression force of said jaw (3) can be directed to the piece to be forced in
order to keep the piece in place between the jaws (2); (3) during the forcing, wherein
the turnable and squeezing jaw (3) comprises turning cylinders (16), the turning forces
of which turning cylinders can be separately directed to gripping surfaces of said
jaw (3) including an upper (17) and a lower (18) gripping surface of the jaw (3) with
the help of an upper arm (5) and a lower arm (6),
wherein the apparatus further comprises
- a structure combining said arms (5); (6) that is located in the direction of a swiveling
axis line (13) of said jaw (3) and which structure combining said arms (5); (6) is
adjusted to direct the turning force of all the turning cylinders (16) to all of the
gripping surfaces (17); (18) of the jaw (3) along with the jaw body, and
- an axle or pins (19) located at the swiveling axis line (13) of said turnable jaw
(3) wherein
- the jaw (3) is configured to be turned with a first one of the cylinders (16), which
is at an altitude of a lower part of the jaw (3) and a second one of the cylinders
(16), which is at the altitude of an upper part of the jaw (3),
- the upper arm (5) is arranged at the upper part of the jaw (3) and the lower arm
(6) is arranged at the lower part of the jaw (3),
- the axle or pins (19) is/are attached to the structure attached to the fastening
body (1) at its lower end and at its upper end such that a distance of the pivot mountings
of the jaw (3) has been maximized in the elevation direction.
2. Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the structure combining said arms (5); (6)
is a pipe (4).
3. Apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the pipe (4) is adjusted in such a way that
the axis line (13) of the swiveling axis of the jaw (3) stays inside the pipe (4).
4. Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the gripping surfaces of each jaw (2) and
(3) are divided into two parts to be upper gripping surfaces (12); (17) and lower
gripping surfaces (12'); (18).
5. Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the gripping surfaces of each jaw (2) and
(3) are undivided and as tall as the jaws.

der Backe (3) auf das einzutreibende Element gerichtet werden kann, um das Element
während des Eintreibens zwischen den Backen (2): (3) in Position zu halten, wobei
die drehbare und Druck ausübende Backe (3) Drehzylinder (16) umfasst und die Drehkräfte
der besagten Drehzylinder getrennt auf Greifflächen der Backe (3) gerichtet werden
können, was eine obere (17) und eine untere (18) Greiffläche der Backe (3) einschließt,
und zwar mit Hilfe eines oberen Arms (5) und eines unteren Arms (6),
wobei die Vorrichtung ferner umfasst:
- einen Aufbau, der die Arme (5); (6) verbindet und in Richtung einer schwenkbaren
Achslinie (13) der Backe (3) angeordnet ist, und welcher Aufbau, der die Arme (5);
(6) verbindet, geeignet ist, die Drehkraft aller Drehzylinder (16) auf alle Greifflächen
(17); (18) der Backe (3) mit dem Backenkörper zu richten, und eine Welle oder Bolzen
(19), die auf der schwenkbaren Achslinie (13) der drehbaren Backe (3) angeordnet ist/sind,
wobei
- die Backe (3) so vorgesehen ist, dass sie mit einem ersten der Zylinder (16), der
sich auf einer Höhe eines unteren Teils der Backe (3) befindet, und einem zweiten
der Zylinder (16), der sich auf einer Höhe eines oberen Teils der Backe (3) befindet,
geschwenkt werden kann,
- der obere Arm (5) am oberen Teil der Backe (3) und der untere Arm (6) am unteren
Teil der Backe (3) angeordnet ist,
die Welle oder die Bolzen (19) an dem am Befestigungskörper (1) angebrachten Aufbau
an dessen unteren und oberen Ende befestigt ist/sind, sodass ein Abstand der Schwenkbeschläge
der Backe (3) in Höhenrichtung maximiert wurde.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, bei der der Aufbau, der die Arme (5), (6) verbindet,
ein Rohr (4) ist.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, bei der das Rohr (4) so vorgesehen ist, dass die Achslinie
(13) der Schwenkachse der Backe (3) innerhalb des Rohrs (4) bleibt.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, bei der die Greifflächen jeder Backe (2) und (3) zweigeteilt
sind und so obere Greifflächen (12); (17) und untere Greifflächen (12'); (18) bilden.
5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, bei der die Greifflächen jeder Backe (2) und (3) ungeteilt
und so hoch wie die Backen sind.

un corps de fixation (1) pour l'attacher à une machine de travail, une structure attachée
au corps de fixation à l'aide de pièces de suppression (14), laquelle structure comprend

à enfoncer, auquel cas au moins l'une des mâchoires de saisie (3) est une mâchoire

(2) ; (3) pendant l'enfoncement, dans lequel la mâchoire rotative et de serrage (3)
comprend des vérins de rotation (16), les forces de rotation desquels vérins de rotation
peuvent être dirigées séparément vers des surfaces de saisie de ladite mâchoire (3)
comportant une surface de saisie supérieure (17) et une surface de saisie inférieure
(18) de la mâchoire (3) à l'aide d'un bras supérieur (5) et d'un bras inférieur (6),
dans lequel l'appareil comprend en outre
- une structure combinant lesdits bras (5) ; (6) qui est située dans la direction
d'une ligne d'axe de pivotement (13) de ladite mâchoire (3) et laquelle structure
combinant lesdits bras (5) ; (6) est réglée pour diriger la force de rotation de tous
les vérins de rotation (16) vers toutes les surfaces de saisie (17) ; (18) de la mâchoire
(3) avec le corps de mâchoire, et
- un essieu ou des broches (19) situé(es) au niveau de la ligne d'axe de pivotement
(13) de ladite mâchoire rotative (3)
dans lequel
- la mâchoire (3) est configurée pour être tournée avec un premier vérin des vérins
(16), qui est à une altitude d'une partie inférieure de la mâchoire (3) et un deuxième
vérin des vérins (16), qui est à l'altitude d'une partie supérieure de la mâchoire
(3),
- le bras supérieur (5) est agencé au niveau de la partie supérieure de la mâchoire
(3) et le bras inférieur (6) est agencé au niveau de la partie inférieure de la mâchoire
(3),
- l'essieu ou les broches (19) est/sont attaché(es) à la structure attachée au corps
de fixation (1) au niveau de son extrémité inférieure et au niveau de son extrémité
supérieure de sorte qu'une distance des montures pivotantes de la mâchoire (3) soit
maximisée dans la direction d'élévation.
2. Appareil selon la revendication 1, dans lequel
la structure combinant lesdits bras (5) ; (6) est un tuyau (4).
3. Appareil selon la revendication 2, dans lequel
le tuyau (4) est réglé de sorte que la ligne d'axe (13) de l'axe de pivotement de
la mâchoire (3) reste à l'intérieur du tuyau (4).
4. Appareil selon la revendication 1, dans lequel
les surfaces de saisie de chaque mâchoire (2) et (3) sont divisées en deux parties
pour être des surfaces de saisie supérieures (12) ; (17) et des surfaces de saisie
inférieures (12') ; (18).
5. Appareil selon la revendication 1, dans lequel
les surfaces de saisie de chaque mâchoire (2) et (3) ne sont pas divisées et sont
aussi hautes que les mâchoires.
