    Description

    Technical Field

[0001] The present invention generally relates to a hypocaust forming mold and a method of manufacturing a hypocaust body using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a hypocaust forming mold which enables easy installation and construction of a hypocaust by preparing a hypocaust body by concrete placement, mounting a hypocaust stone on the prepared hypocaust body, and finishing with red clay, and a method of manufacturing a hypocaust body using the same.

    Background Art

[0002] Generally, the hypocaust, called Ondol in Korean is a unique heating structure which has been used for a long time, and consists of a furnace for burning a fuel, a heating passage for heating a hypocaust stone by passing flame thereunder, and a chimney for discharging smoke.

[0003] This type of hypocaust is thermal-efficient, but is difficult to be constructed, and thus, should be constructed by a skilled expert. Also, the construction cost of the hypocaust constitutes a large part over the total construction cost. Accordingly, a heating system using a hot water circulation pipe has mainly been constructed rather than a traditional hypocaust.

[0004] A conventional heating system using cement is more advantageous than the hypocaust in terms of constructability. However, water should be heated to be circulated in a hot water circulation pipe, thereby increasing time and fuel expenses and greatly declining thermal efficiency and thermal conductivity of heating. Also, it has been a problem that harmful substances are generated from a concrete floor.

[0005] Accordingly, technique of a heating using a traditional hypocaust has been devised.

[0006] As conventional art, Korean Patent No. 10-0657976, which relates to a method of manufacturing a hypocaust body using concrete hypocaust stones and red clay panels, was devised. More particularly, according to the method, a certain quantity of hypocaust stones is sequentially installed on a floor base of a house in a horizontal position using supporting protrusions, red clay liquid is injected into joint parts of the concrete hypocaust stones to fill in gaps, and certain-sized red panels are installed over the whole upper part of the installed concrete hypocaust stones to finish a hypocaust.

[0007] GB 1 224 786 A discloses a hypocaust forming mold according to the preamble of claim 1. WO 84/03137 A1 discloses a method of manufacturing a hypocaust body, comprising a process of filling a receiving part and first forming parts of a hypocaust forming mold with concrete by placing the concrete into the receiving part and the first forming parts, wherein the hypocaust forming mold comprises a body.

[0008] Such conventional art is advantageous in terms of manufacturing concrete hypocaust stones in large quantities. However, there are problems in that a plurality of concrete hypocaust stones should be connected, and work for connecting the concrete hypocaust stones should additionally be required.

[0009] Therefore, technique of a hypocaust, which enables easy installation and simple construction, and is superior in thermal-efficiency and thermal-conductivity, has been required.

    Best Mode

[0017] Hereinbelow, the other purposes and features of the present invention other than the purpose will be obviously described through exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0018] Unless differently defined, all terms including technical or scientific terms used herein have the same meanings generally understood by a person skilled in the art. Terms defined in a regular dictionary should be interpreted as contextual meanings of the related art, but should not be interpreted as ideal or excessively formal meanings unless obviously defined in the specification.

[0019] Hereinbelow, a hypocaust forming mold and a method of manufacturing a hypocaust body using the same will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0020] As illustrated, the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention consists of a body 10, an inner side wall part 20, a receiving part 30, a forming body 40, and a furnace 50.

[0021] As illustrated, the body 10, the inner side wall part 20, the receiving part 30, and the forming body 40 are integrally formed because connection parts thereof are integrally connected by welding.

[0022] The body 10 consists of a front side wall 11, a rear side wall 12, a left side wall 13, and a right side wall 14 disposed on an outward flange 10a, respectively, along an upper circumference part.

[0023] The outward flange 10a is disposed by being outwardly bent and extended toward upper parts of the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14. Also, as illustrated, the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14 are vertically extended toward a lower part of the outward flange 10a to form one mold body.

[0024] In addition, as illustrated, the shape of the body 10 formed by the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, the right side wall 14 may be a rectangle, but is not limited to the shape.

[0025] A connection surface 21 is extended from the bottoms of the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14 of the body 10, and the inner side wall part 20 is positioned to face the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14 by being vertically connected from the connection surface 21.

[0026] In this regard, in order to easily separate a cured hypocaust body 100 from the body 10 after placing concrete, the inner side wall part 20 may be inclined with respect to the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14 of the body 10.

[0027] The receiving part 30 is positioned between the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14 of the body 10 and the inner side wall part 20.

[0028] The receiving part 30 is filled with concrete placed to mold the hypocaust body 100 to be received therein. As the inner side wall part 20 is arranged along inner circumference parts of the front side wall 11, the rear side wall 12, the left side wall 13, and the right side wall 14, the concrete filled and received in the receiving part 30 molds a circumference part of the hypocaust body 100 molded by the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention after curing.

[0029] The forming body 40 is arranged on an upper part of the inner side wall part 20, and an upper surface of the hypocaust body 100 molded by the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention is molded by the forming body 40. As illustrated, the forming body 40 consists of a plurality of first forming parts 41 equally arranged in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction, and a second forming part 42 positioned between the first forming parts 41 to be crossed, and in which placed concrete is filled.

[0030] Accordingly, when concrete is placed, the concrete, which is placed into the second forming part 42 positioned between the first forming parts 41 to be crossed, is filled along the second forming part 42.

[0031] At this time, a hypocaust stone mounting space on which a hypocaust stone 101 is mounted is molded by the forming body 40.

[0032] In order to achieve this, the first forming part 41 has a first molding wall 411 protruding from the second forming part 42; a second molding wall 412 protruding from the second forming part 42 to face the first molding wall 411; a third molding wall 413 and a fourth molding wall 414 protruding from the second forming part 42 to connect and face the first molding wall 411 and the second molding wall 412, respectively; and a hypocaust stone space part 415 disposed between the first molding wall 411, the second molding wall 412, the third molding wall 413, and the fourth molding wall 414.

[0033] When the concrete is placed by the second forming part 42 formed like so, the hole-type hypocaust stone mounting space is naturally molded by the hypocaust space part 415 disposed between the first molding wall 411, the second molding wall 412, the third molding wall 413, and the fourth molding wall 414 of the first forming part 41. Accordingly, the hypocaust stone 101 is mounted on the hypocaust mounting space molded by the hypocaust space part 415.

[0034] A furnace insertion space 51 is disposed on the front side wall 11 of the body 10, and the furnace 50 is inserted into the furnace insertion space 51. Heat made through the furnace 50 is delivered to not only the inside of the hypocaust body 100 molded by the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention but also the hypocaust stone 101 mounted on the hypocaust stone mounting space.

[0035] In addition, the first molding wall 411, the second molding wall 412, the third molding wall 413, and the fourth molding wall 414 are equipped with a tilt angle a narrower toward the hypocaust stone space part 415 to easily separate the body 10 from placed concrete after placing concrete into the receiving part 30 and the second forming part 42.

[0036] Since the tilt angle 'a' is formed, the heater forming body 100 molded by curing the placed concrete may easily be separated from the body 10.

[0037] The method of manufacturing a hypocaust body using the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention relates to manufacturing the hypocaust body using the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention. Hereinbelow, in order to describe the method of manufacturing a hypocaust body of the present invention, the same terms and the same reference numerals will be assigned with respect to the same elements as the hypocaust forming mold of the present invention.

[0038] A method of manufacturing a hypocaust body of the present invention includes a first process S1, a second process S2, a third process S3, a fourth process S4, a fifth process S5, and a sixth process S6, wherein a hypocaust forming mold includes: a body having a front side wall, a rear side wall, a left side wall, and a right side wall disposed on an outward flange, respectively, along an upper circumference part; a connection surface extended from the front side wall, the rear side wall, the left side wall, and the right side wall of the body, and an inner side wall part positioned to face the front side wall, the rear side wall, the left side wall, and the right side wall by being vertically connected from the connection surface; a receiving part positioned between the front side wall, the rear side wall, the left side wall, and the right side wall of the body and the inner side wall part; a forming body which is disposed on an upper part of the inner side wall part, and has a plurality of first forming parts equally arranged in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction, and a second forming part positioned between the first forming parts to be crossed; and a furnace and a furnace insertion space into which the furnace is inserted.

[0039] The first process S1 of the present invention is a process of connecting an upper part of the furnace insertion space 51 disposed on the hypocaust forming mold, and into which the furnace 50 is inserted with a connection plate 102.

[0040] The reason for connecting the furnace insertion space 51 with the connection plate 102 is as follows. The upper part of the furnace insertion space 51 is cut to easily insert the furnace 50 into the furnace insertion space 51, and the furnace 50 is inserted into the upper part of the furnace insertion space 51. Then, the cut upper part of the furnace insertion space 51 is connected with the connection plate 102, thereby preventing the opening of the cut upper part of the furnace insertion space 51 when working concrete placement.

[0041] The second process S2 of the present invention is a process of blocking a space between the furnace 50 and the connection plate 102 connected on the upper part of the furnace insertion space 51 in the first process S1 by a blocking plate 103.

[0042] The reason for blocking the space between the connection plate 102 and the furnace 50 by the blocking plate 103 is as follows. Even if the furnace 50 is inserted into the furnace insertion space 51, a space by the furnace insertion space 51 is formed on a lower part of the connection plate 102 and an upper part of the furnace 50. Accordingly, in order to prevent spilling placed concrete through the space thereby, the space between the connection plate 102 and the furnace 50 is blocked by the blocking plate 103.

[0043] The third process S3 of the present invention is a process of filling the receiving part 30 and first forming parts 41 with concrete by placing the concrete into the receiving part 30 and the first forming parts 41 of the forming body 40.

[0044] In other words, the furnace 50 is inserted into the hypocaust forming mold, the furnace insertion space 51 is connected by the connection plate 102, and the space between the connection plate 102 and the furnace 50 is blocked. Then, concrete is placed to fill the receiving part 30 and the first forming parts 41 with the concrete.

[0045] Accordingly, when the concrete is placed to fill the receiving part 30 and the first forming parts 41, the hypocaust body 100 having shapes identical to those of the receiving part 30 and the first forming parts 41 is molded by the placed concrete.

[0046] In this regard, the concrete may be placed after mounting the hypocaust stone 101 on the hypocaust space part 415 disposed between the first molding wall 411, the second molding wall 412, the third molding wall 413, and the fourth molding wall 414 of the first forming part 41.

[0047] The fourth process S4 of the present invention is a process of removing the hypocaust body 100 equipped with the furnace on a front surface and the hypocaust stone mounting space on an upper surface by separating the hypocaust forming mold from cured concrete after curing concrete placed into the hypocaust forming mold.

[0048] In this regard, since the first molding wall 411, the second molding wall 412, the third molding wall 413, and the fourth molding wall 414 of the hypocaust forming body of the present invention have a tilt angle a narrower toward the hypocaust stone space part 415, the hypocaust forming mold may easily be separated from the hypocaust body 100.

[0049] The fifth process S5 of the present invention is a process of mounting the hypocaust stone 101 on the hypocaust stone mounting space disposed on the upper surface of the molded hypocaust body 100.

[0050] In this regard, not only basalt but also stone with great thermal transmissibility may be used for the hypocaust stone 101. In the case of placing concrete after mounting the hypocaust stone 101 on the hypocaust stone space part 415 disposed between the first molding wall 411, the second molding wall 412, the third molding wall 413, and the fourth molding wall 414 of the first forming part 41, the fifth process S5 of the present invention may be omitted.

[0051] The sixth process S6 of the present invention is a process of finishing by applying red clay to a circumference part of the hypocaust body 100 on which the hypocaust stone 101 is mounted. More particularly, the red clay is applied to the circumference of the hypocaust body 100 like doing plastering work by mixing the red clay with water.

[0052] As mentioned above, the present invention has been described by only limited embodiments, drawings, and specific matters, such as concrete components. However, these are merely provided to help the general understanding of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiments. Instead, various modifications and substitutions are possible by persons skilled in the art from the description without departing from the scope of the appended claims.

[0053] Therefore, the idea of the present invention should not be limited to the described embodiments.
