[origin: US4317793A] A process for producing molecularly oriented hollow bodies of thermoplastic material presenting an accurately dimensioned orifice collar, by blow molding a preform in a manner to produce the orifice collar in its definitive form and, after thermally conditioning the preform, finally blow molding the desired final hollow body while forming the lower molded part of the neck below the orifice collar. This process permits the production of oriented hollow bodies with which a closure member can form an effective seal, and which can therefore be used for packaging carbonated beverages.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la production de corps creux orientés en matières thermoplastiques équipés d'une bague d'orifice correctement calibrée. On moule par soufflage une préforme comportant une bague d'orifice de col (5) moulée dans sa forme définitive et, après conditionnement thermique de la préforme, on procède au soufflage final du corps creux, et en particulier de la partie inférieure de col en dessous de la bague d'orifice (5). L'invention permet la production de corps creux orientés que l'on peut pourvoir d'une fermeture étanche et que l'on utilise pour le conditionnement de boissons carbonatées.
