Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an arc-extinguishing chamber for electrical installation switchgear, especially for a line protection circuit breaker. This has at least one contact point, formed by one moving and one fixed contact piece (24 and 26), the fixed contact piece (26) of each contact point being mounted on a connecting piece (28, 30) which turns into an arc guide rail (36). Sheet iron elements (42, 44; 52, 56), covered with a dielectric which releases gas, are fitted on both sides of each contact point. To make the arc run into the arc-extinguishing lamination stack (38) better, the sheet iron elements (42, 44) are fixedly connected to the fixed contact piece (26) of each contact point, the sheet iron elements expediently being integrally formed as side fins on the arc guide rail (36). It is also possible to form the sheet iron elements integrally as fins (52, 56) on the yoke (54) and on the magnetic core (56) of the magnetic trip release (14). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lichtbogenlöschkammer für ein elektrisches Installationsschaltgerät, insbesondere für einen Leitungsschutzschalter. Diese besitzt wenigstens eine aus einem beweglichen und einem festen Kontaktstück (24 bzw. 26) gebildete Kontaktstelle, wobei das feste Kontaktstück (26) jeder Kontaktstelle an einem Anschlußstück (28, 30), das in eine Lichtbogenleitschiene (36) übergeht, befestigt ist. Beidseitig zu jeder Kontaktstelle sind mit gasabgebendem Isolierstoff bedeckte Eisenblechteile (42, 44; 42, 56) angebracht. Um das Einlaufen des Lichtbogens in das Lichtbogenlöschblechpaket (38) zu verbessern, sind die Eisenblechteile (42, 44) mit dem festen Kontaktstück (26) jeder Kontaktstelle fest verbunden, wobei zweckmäßigerweise die Eisenblechteile als seitliche Lappen an der Lichtbogenleitschiene (36) angeformt sind. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, die Eisenblechteile als Lappen (52, 56) am Joch (54) und am Magnetkern (56) des Magnetauslösers (14) anzuformen.
