Abstract (en)
In the production of copper pipes from copper ingots by means of a hot crossrolling mill, the emerging pipe is rolled directly in water to prevent oxidation of the outer surface. In order to avoid bubbles on the inner wall of the rolled pipe, the cooling is controlled so that the rolled pipe comes into contact with the cooling water only on its outer surface. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei der Herstellung von Kupferrohren aus Kupferblöcken mittels eines Warmschrägwalzwerkes wird das austretende Rohr direkt in Wasser gewalzt, um eine Oxidation der äußeren Oberfläche zu verhindern. Zwecks Vermeidung von Blasen an der Innenwandung des gewalzten Rohres wird die Kühlung so gesteuert, daß das gewalrte Rohr nur an seiner äußeren Oberfläche mit dem Kühlwasser in Berührung kommt.
