In a permanent mould (1) with a plurality of mould cavities (3, 4), the mould cavities are arranged above one another in such a way that the pouring openings are in alignment. Bei einer Dauerform (1) mit mehreren Formhohlräumen (3, 4) sind die Formhohlräume übereinander angeordnet, derart, daß die Eingießöffnungen fluchten. Verwendung findet die Dauerform für die direkte, fallende Gießweise zur wirtschaftlichen Herstellung von kleineren Gußstücken.
