A work-holding device (3), which can be transported through the blasting chamber (1) by means of an overhead conveyor (2), is rotatable about a first horizontally arranged axis of rotation (5) and about a second axis of rotation (6) arranged at right angles thereto, the second axis of rotation (6) rotating about the first axis of rotation. The workpiece (14) is held in a cage (13) and rotates about both these axes (5) and (6) during the blasting treatment and subsequently for emptying the hollow spaces. <IMAGE>

Eine durch die Strahlkammer (1) mittels eines Hängeförderers (2) transportierbare Werkstückaufnahmevorrichtung (3) ist um eine erste horizontal angeordnete Drehachse (5) und um eine, im rechten Winkel zu dieser angeordneten zweite Drehachse (6) rotierbar, wobei die zweite Drehachse (6) um die erste Drehachse rotiert. Das Werkstück (14) wird in einem Käfig (13) gehalten wobei es während der Strahlbehandlung und anschliessend zum Entleeren der Hohlräume um diese beiden Drehachsen (5) und (6) rotiert.
