[origin: US4512612A] This invention relates to a system for mounting tooth-carrier sectors on a cutter wheel or a milling-cutter drum (or coal-cutter drum) permitting the rapid mounting of the sectors, as well as a change in the direction of operation of the wheel or drum about its axis. The supports (2) attached to the wheel (1) by their base are delimited by two lateral surfaces (4) and by one upper surface (3), which rest on the yoke-shaped base of the tooth-carrier sectors (8). The support (2) has a shape which is symmetrical with respect to its axis (7), and its lateral surfaces (4) form with the perpendicular to the axis (7) an angle ( alpha ) which is less than 90 DEG at their outer end. The sector (8) is closed on the side which rests against the front surface (4) during operation. The sector (8) is attached to its support, for example by means of an elastic dog (11).

La présente invention se rapporte à un système de montage des secteurs porte-pics sur une roue de trancheuse ou tambour de fraise (ou de haveuse) permettant le montage rapide des secteurs, ainsi que le changement de sens de travail de la roue ou du tambour autour de son axe. Les supports (2) fixés à la roue (1) par leur base sont limités par deux surfaces latérales (4) et une face supérieure (3) qui s'appuient sur l'embase en forme de chape des secteurs porte-pics (8). Le support (2) présente une forme symétrique par rapport à son axe (7) et dont les faces latérales (4) forment, à leur extrémité externe, un angle (α) inférieur à 90' avec la perpendiculaire à l'axe (7); le secteur (8) est fermé sur le côté qui s'appuie sur la face avant (4) lors du travail. Le secteur (8) est fixé sur son support par exemple par un cavalier élastique (11).
