Procédé de fabrication à partir d'une bande, par exemple métallique, d'une cheville comportant une gaine prismatique dont au moins l'un des faces est prolongée par une ailette conformée pour faciliter sa pénétration verticale dans le sol et offrir une résistance transversale, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte: le profilage d'une bande destinée à la formation de plusieurs chevilles de façon à former, sur chacun de ses bords, un fourreau prismatique droit (1, 2) ayant, sur toute sa longueur, une ouverture (11, 21) suivant son arête de raccordement avec la portion de bande intermédiaire (3) réunissant les deux fourreaux; la découpe de la bande profilée, d'une part, perpendiculairement aux génératrices desdits fourreaux prismatiques (1, 2) pour former des tronçons (A1B1, A2B2) de longueur égale à la hauteur de la cheville et, d'autre part, pour chaque tronçon, suivant un plan diagonal (A1, B1). Application à la fabrication de chevilles pour clôturer.
