Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Zusatzvorrichtung für einen Maschinenschraubstock (50) zum Einspannen von spanabhebend zu bearbeitenden Werkstücken (20). Jede Zusatzvorrichtung (25,60) umfasst einen oder mehrere mit Kammern (36,37,37') versehene Gehäuseblöcke (30,30a-30d), wobei in jeder Kammer ein kolbenartig wirkender, abgedichteter Druckkörper (40,45,45a-45d) verschiebbar geführt ist. Bei der einen Variante stehen die mit einer Hydraulik-Flüssigkeit gefüllten Kammern (36,37) des Gehäuseblocks (30) über eine Oeffnung (35) und bei der anderen Variante stehen die Kammern (37') der Gehäuseblöcke (30a-30d) über eine Rohrleitung (65) miteinander in Wirkverbindung. Bei unterschiedlich breiten Werkstücken wird durch den Anpressdruck gegen die entsprechende Klemmfläche (42,47,47a-47d) des zuerst beaufschlagten Druckkörpers (40,45,45a-45d) durch die Verlagerung der Hydraulik-Flüssigkeit der folgende Druckkörper gegen das die geringere Spannbreite aufweisende Werkstück gepresst.
