[origin: WO8403465A1] To eliminate the torch cutting fraze of a metal product, particularly of a continuous casting slab, a separation surface is created between said fraze and the product surface, either by sudden cooling by means of a coolent or by depositing on the surface an anti-adhering substance. The sudden cooling causes the cracking of the adherence area while the anti-adhering substance forms a barrier, particularly a thermal barrier between the fraze and the product.

Pour éliminer la bavure d'oxycoupage d'un produit métallique, en particulier d'une brame de coulée continue, on crée une surface de séparation entre la dite bavure et la surface du produit, soit en la refroidissant brusquement au moyen d'un agent réfrigérant, soit en déposant sur la surface une substance antiadhérente. Le refroidissement brusque provoque la fissuration de la zone d'adhérence, tandis que la substance antiadhérente forme une barrière, notamment thermique, entre la bavure et le produit.
