[origin: US4702209A] The valve member (4) of a bypass valve (2) of a device for regulating the idling of an internal combustion engine is provided, for pressure equalization, with a back-pressure chamber (8) which is in communication via a pressure-equalization connection (9) with the pressure-inlet side of the bypass valve (2). This pressure-equalization connection (9) debouches as close as possible to the narrowest point of the gap between the valve member (4) and the valve seat (7) in the housing (1) of the bypass valve (2).

Das Ventilglied (4) eines Bypassventils (2) einer Vorrichtung zur Leerlaufregelung eines Verbrennungsmotors besitzt zum Druckausgleich eine Gegendruckkammer (8), die mittels einer Druckausgleichsverbindung (9) mit der Druckeinlaßseite des Bypassventils (2) Verbindung hat. Diese Druckausgleichsverbindung (9) mündet möglichst nahe an der engsten Stelle des Spaltes zwischen dem Ventilglied (4) und dem Ventilsitz (7) im Gehäuse (1) des Bypassventils (2).
