1. Eine Düse zum Texturieren eines Fadens besteht aus einem Förderteil (51) und einer perforierten Stauchkammer (23). Der Förderteil (51) ist als kompakter Metallblock ausgeführt. Durch Einblasen des heissen Mediums in den axial verlaufenden Fadenkanal wird der Faden gefördert. Der Block besteht aus zwei Hälften (12, 13), die in einer Trennebene (9) aufeinanderliegen und in denen der Fadenkanal gebildet ist. In einer anderen Ausführung ist der Förderteil ein massiver Block, der einen axialen Fadeneinlegschlitz (71) aufweist, der bis auf den Fadenkanal (1) hinabreicht. Die Stauchkammer (23) ist unterhalb des Förderteils angebracht. Die Stauchkammer (23) ist mit einem Längsschlitz (28) versehen, der mit der Trennebene (9) zwischen den Hälften des Förderteils bzw. mit dem Fadeneinlegschlitz (71) des Förderteils fluchtet. Der Fadeneinlegschlitz (28) der Stauchkammer wird während des Betriebs durch ein eingelegtes Blech oder durch radiale Kraftgeber oder durch innere Vorspannung zusammengedrückt.
