Bei einem an eine Rollenrotationsdruckmaschine angebauten Falzapparat zur Herstellung von zumindest zweimal quergefalzten Produkten mit einer Querschneideinrichtung (6) und zwei dieser nachgeordneten, aufeinanderfolgenden Querfalzeinrichtungen (8 bzw. 9) läßt sich unter Erzielung eines einfachen und bedienungsfreundlichen Aufbaus die Anzahl der benötigten gesteuerten Baugruppen auf einfache Weise dadurch reduzieren, daß lediglich eine (8) der Querfalzeinrichtungen (8, 9) als auf einem Zylinder (15) angeordnete Falzmesser (16) und mit diesen zusammenwirkende, auf einem nachgeordneten Zylinder (17) angeordnete Falzklappen (18) aufweisende Klappenfalzeinrichtung und die weitere Querfalzeinrichtung (9) als Stauchfalzeinrichtung ausgebildet ist, die drei zu den Zylindern (15, 17) der Klappenfalzeinrichtung parallele, mit gleicher Umfangsgeschwindigkeit angetriebene Walzen (21,22,23) umfaßt, die zwei am Umfang der mittleren Walze (22) gegeneinander versetzte, einstellbare Transportspalte (24, 25) und ein der mittleren Walze (22) gegenüberliegendes, von den beiden äußeren, umfangsmäßig voneinander beabstandeten Walzen (21, 23) flankiertes Durchtrittsfenster (26) begrenzen, an das sich ein zur mittleren Walze (22) hin offener, über die ganze Walzenlänge sich erstreckender Stauchschacht (20) anschließt, der aus voneinander distanzierten, den äußeren Walzen (21,23) zugewandten Führungswandungen (27, 28) und einem entlang dieser verstellbaren, ihren Abstand überbrückenden Anschlagsteg (29) besteht.
