Um in einer Friktionsspinnvorrichtung mit einem, mit dem Winkel α geneigten Faserförderkanal (5) und mit einer Garnbildungsstelle, welche von der Mündung des Faserförderkanales entfernt vorgesehen ist, zu gewährleisten, dass die sich auf einem Friktionsspinnmittel (6) befindlichen Fasern (13) weder senkrecht noch parallel zur Garnbildungsstelle gegen die Garnbildungsstelle gefördert werden, sind die die Perforation des Friktionsspinnmittels ergebenden Löcher (15) derart angeordnet, dass die die Lochmitten verbindenden Geraden weder parallel noch senkrecht zur Garnbildungsstelle angeordnet sind. Dadurch werden die auf das Friktionsspinnmittel geförderten Fasern mittels der Intensität der Förderluft in Richtung der Lochreihen auf das Friktionsspinnmittel gelegt, was die entsprechende Lage dieser Fasern gewährleistet.
