Um Bauteilen wie z.B. Möbelteilen, Wandverkleidungen od.dgl. die aus ein- oder mehrlagiger Wellpappe bestehen, in kostengünstiger Weise ein dekoratives Erscheinungsbild zu verleihen, das qualitativ nicht durch mechanische und/oder Wärmebeanspruchung bei der Bahnenbehandlung beeinträchtigt ist, wird ein Herstellungsverfahren für mit ästhetisch ansprechenden Oberflächen versehene Bau-, z.B. Möbelteile vorgeschlagen, bei dem auf einer herkömmlichen Wellpappe-Erzeugungsanlange (10) mindestens eine mit einem Dekor versehene Deckschicht (18a, 20) auf eine Wellenlage (15, 16) aufgebracht und mit dieser ohne Beeinflussung durch mechanische Einrichtungen (40) und/oder Heizzylinder (30), also außerhalb deren Einflußbereiches, im wesentlichen flächig zu einer ein- oder mehrlagigen Wellpappe (22a) verbunden wird, so daß versand- und verarbeitungsfertige Bauteile die Wellpappe-Erzeugungsanlage verlassen.
