In the opening of the closure cap (1) on nozzles or tubes (2) of flexible bags (3) for the filling of the bags, the closure cap (1) is raised on one side and is tilted relative to the nozzle (2) to the opposite side and raised from the nozzle in such a way that, in this oblique position, it can be guided away laterally from the nozzle (2) transversely to the feeding direction of the flexible bags (3) to be filled, so as, after completion of the filling operation, to be brought back up again to the nozzle (2) from the side, placed laterally obliquely on to the edge of the nozzle (2) and suspended downwards again into a completely flush position on the upper edge of the nozzle (2) and pressed on. The take-off forces occurring here account for only a small part of the stresses which occur in a conventional method with axial take-off movement. The forces occurring here start at one side of the closure cap (1) opposite the tilting direction and then run linearly along the sealing strips or sealing lips of the closure cap on to the opposite edge region between closure cap (1) and nozzle. Beim Öffnen der Verschlußkappe (1) an Stutzen oder Tüllen (2) von flexiblen Beuteln (3) zum Befüllen der Beutel wird die Verschlußkappe (1) einseitig angehoben und gegenüber dem Stutzen (2) zur gegenüberliegenden Seite derart angekippt und von dem Stutzen abgehoben, daß sie in dieser Schräglage quer zur Vorschubrichtung der zu befüllenden flexiblen Beutel (3) von dem Stutzen (2) zur Seite weggeführt werden kann, um nach Beendigung des Füllvorganges von der Seite an den Stutzen (2) wieder herangeführt, auf den Rand des Stutzens (2) seitlich schräg aufgesetzt und anschließend in eine satte ebene Auflage auf dem oberen Rand des Stutzens (2) wieder nach unten gekippt und angedrückt zu werden. Die hierbei auftretenden Abzugskräfte betragen nur einen geringen Teil der bei einem herkömmlichen Verfahren mit axialer Abzugsbewegung auftretenden Beanspruchungen. Die dabei auftretenden Kräfte setzen an einer der Kipprichtung gegenüberliegenden Seite der Verschlußkappe (1) ein und laufen dann linienförmig entlang den Abdichtleisten oder Dichtlippen der Verschlußkappe weiter bis zum gegenüberliegenden Randbereich zwischen Verschlußkappe (1) und Stutzen. Beim Wiederverschließen der Kappe (1) ist der Kraftablauf entsprechend dem Ablauf beim Öffnen der Kappe, jedoch in entgegengesetzter Richtung.
