[origin: WO8802909A1] Method and circuit for the control of an electro-optical matrix screen wherein: a) during a raster time and during the control of certain lines, the screen is controlled by voltages of a predetermined polarity; b) during the same raster and during the control of other lines, the screen is controlled by voltages of reverse polarity; c) during the following raster, said control is reversed. An inversion control circuit C.INV reverses the voltages provided by input circuits INV, IN, ADD.C at column electrodes and by an addressing circuit ADD.C at line electrodes. The invention is applicable to the control of liquid crystal screens to suppress display defects.

Procédé de commande et circuit de commande d'un écran matriciel électrooptique dans lequel : - a) durant un temps trame et durant la commande de certaines lignes, l'écran est commandé par des tensions d'une polarité déterminé ; - b) durant la même trame et durant la commande des autres lignes, l'écran est commandé par des tensions de polarité inverse ; - c) durant la trame suivante cette commande est inversée. Un circuit de commande d'inversion C.INV permet d'inverser les tensions fournies par des circuits d'entrée INV, IN, ADD.C aux électrodes de colonnes et par un circuit d'adressage ADD.C aux électrodes de lignes. L'invention est applicable à la commande d'écrans à cristaux liquides pour supprimer des défauts d'affichage:
