Watch case (1) comprising a caseband (3, 40), a bezel (7, 41, 51), a glass (32) and a back cover (31) with the purpose to receive a movement (33) onto which a dial (14, 34, 42) is superposed, characterized by the fact that at least one element of the group of elements comprising the caseband, the bezel and the dial is formed of leather.

La boîte de montre (1) comporte une carrure-lunette (30) qui est faite en cuir massif. Selon un procédé de fabrication, on prend une ébauche en cuir de dimensions légèrement supérieures aux dimensions de la pièce finie et on lui fait subir les opérations successives suivantés: on la sèche, l'imprègne, la durcit, l'usine aux cotes terminales et la termine par une opération de finissage. On utilise du cuir naturel ou du cuir reconstitué.
