Abstract (en)
In frames consisting of sheet-metal sections (1) which have a bending edge at the edge with the tread plane because one leg (2) of the frame is bent round into the tread plane, this edge cannot be made sharp. Thus, when the panels are laid against one another, there is a small gap which, especially where thin hard floor coverings are concerned, can lead to a break of the floor covering at this point under a load exerted at a particular point. The sharp edge can be obtained, on the one hand, by designing the leg (2) as a sheet-metal part (5) bent back on itself, the free end of the sheet-metal part (5) coming to rest on the panel edge. Alternatively, it can be achieved in that a bead (9) formed in the sheet-metal section (7) in the vicinity of the respective panel edge is evened off in a tool in such a way that it forms as a result of the creep of the sheet-metal material. In the finished floor panel, the frame is filled with flowable hardening material. <IMAGE>

Bei Rahmen aus Blechprofilen (1), die an der Kante zur Trittflächenebene eine Biegekante dadurch aufweisen, daß ein Schenkel (2) des Rahmens in die Trittflächenebene umgebogen ist, ist diese Kante nicht scharfkantig ausbildbar. Dadurch entsteht beim Aneinanderlegen der Platten ein geringer Spalt, der inbesondere bei dünnen harten Bodenbelägen zu einem Einbrechen des Bodenbelages an dieser Stelle unter punktförmiger Belastung führen kann. Der scharfkantige Abschluß ist zum einen durch Ausbildung des Schenkels (2) als auf sich selbst zurückgebogenes Blechteil (5) erreichbar, wobei das freie Ende des Blechteils (5) am Plattenrand zu liegen kommt. Alternativ ist es dadurch erzielbar, daß eine in der Nähe der betreffenden Plattenkante in das Blechprofil (7) eingeformte Sicke (9) in einem Werkzeug so eingeebnet wird, daß er sich durch Fließen des Blechmaterials ausbildet. Der Rahmen ist bei der fertigen Bodenplatte mit einem fließfähigen erhärtenden Material ausgefüllt.
