[origin: US4821060A] Apparatus for separably connecting the leader of a web of photosensitive material to a running band which serves to pull the web through a processor employs a clip one portion of which is separably connected to the web and another portion of which is provided with a channel into which the band can enter only in response to a reduction of its effective width due to its innate elasticity and entrains the clip and the web through the processor. The mechanism for connecting the other portion of the clip to the band has a matrix at one side of the path of movement of the band opposite the open side of the channel in the other portion of the clip, and a deforming member which can be moved by a motor to cooperate with the matrix in deforming the band so that the effective width of the band is temporarily reduced to allow for introduction into the channel of the other portion of the clip. The matrix and/or a portion at least of the deforming member shares the movement of the band, at least during a certain stage of narrowing and subsequent widening of the band. This renders it possible to disengage the parts of the deforming mechanism from the band while one or more components of the deforming mechanism share the movement of the band.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Anbringen einer den Anfang eines bandförmigen Materials führenden Klammer an ein Schleppband in einem fotografischen Entwicklungsgerät mit einer Vielzahl von Behandlungsbehältern, wobei das bandförmige Material parallel zu dem Schleppband durch die Behandlungsbehälter geführt ist. Die Klammer weist einen die Schleppbandränder mit hakenartigen Vorsprüngen umfassenden Halteteil auf, wobei während des Anklammervorgangs die Seitenränder des Schleppbandes durch senkrecht zur Ebene des Schleppbandes wirkende Stempel und Matrize umfassende Verbiegeelemente so weit aufeinander zu gebogen werden, daß der Abstand der Schleppbandkanten geringer als die lichte Weite der Haken des Halteteils wird. Nach dem Einführen des Bandes in das Halteteil werden die Verbiegeelemente wieder unwirksam gemacht. Zumindest der Stempel (15) folgt zumindest während eines Teiles des Anklammervorganges der Durchlaufbewegung des Schleppbandes (3).
