Abstract (en)

1. Low-loading waggon for pick-a-back traffic having a low-loading bridge (1) which is practicable for driving along its full length and whose loading-surface (1') extending between the bogies (2) can, to make possible a loading with a vehicle, be lifted to a level which makes possible a crossing of the bogies and can be lowered for the transportation of the vehicle, characterized in that the low-loading bridge (1) has supporting beams (7) extending beyond the extremities of its loading-surface (1') and laterally over the bogies (2) and being bent at right angles to correspond to the lowered position of the loading surface, that the supporting beams are supported on the bogies (2) by lifting means (3) and can be lifted into the loading or entering position together with the loading-surface (1'), where the loading-surface has approximately the level of the surfaces of the bogies, and that said surfaces of the bogies are constructed in such a manner that they are practicable for driving.
