There is introduced into a channel-like recess which at least passes through the roadway surface and is situated above the said structural or settlement joint, after said recess has been covered with a bitumen-bonded, elastoviscous filling composition, a metallic cover strip comprising serrated lateral edges which covers the joint, the recess is filled with hot, chippings-like bulk material of uniform particle size, then its cavities are filled with a hot, bitumen-bonded, elastoviscous filling composition and, if appropriate, the bulk material layer is compressed, the recess having a width between 35 and 75 cm, the strip width lying between 15 and 40 cm, the serrations having a depth of 2 to 10 cm and the distance between the tips of the serrations being 3 to 20 cm. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Fahrbahnüberganges über eine Konstruktions- oder Bewegungsfuge (10) wird in eine über dieser mindestens die Fahrbahndecke (16) durchsetzende kanalartige Ausnehmung (11) nach deren Beschichtung mit einer bitumengebundenen elastoviskosen Füllmasse (17) ein die Fuge überdeckender metallischer Abdeckstreifen (1) mit gezackten Seitenrändern eingebracht, die Ausnehmung mit heißem splittartigen Schüttgut einheitlicher Korngröße gefüllt, dann dessen Hohlräume mit heißer bitumengebundener elastoviskoser Füllmasse (19) gefüllt und gegebenenfalls die Schüttgutschicht verdichtet, wobei die Ausnehmung eine Breite zwischen 35 und 75 cm aufweist, die Streifenbreite zwischen 15 und 40 cm liegt, die Zackentiefe 2 bis 10 cm und der Abstand der Zackenspitzen 3 bis 20 cm beträgt.
