Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH01111062A] PURPOSE: To uniformly and continuously dye a rope-like textile material by guiding the rope-like continuous textile material into a treating zone region in a dyeing machine through a nozzle, further sequentially guiding the textile material into the front treating zone regions through other nozzles at the same temperature, and simultaneously immersing the textile material in a treating liquid. CONSTITUTION: This process for continuous treatment, preferably dyeing, of textile materials in a rope form comprises sewing up the ends of the textile materials each other to form a continuous material, guiding the continuous material into a dyeing machine wherein a plurality of treating zone regions are arranged through nozzles, immersing the continuous material in a treating liquid in the first treating zone region, and further guiding the continuous material into the next treating zone regions through the other nozzles with the jet flows of steam/air mixture at the same temperature. Since the nozzle jet flows are applied to the continuous textile materials in the tangential line direction, the continuous textile materials are uniformly and continuously dyed without intermitting the continuous transfer of the continuous rope-like textile material.
